Dr. Luna
Chapter 81

Lilly and Tyler had a small wedding a couple months ago. Nothing big. Just something small among the pack members. They wanted to keep it intimate. They also wanted to pull together a wedding before her stomach grew too large. It was perfect. It was everything Lilly wanted. It was sweet. Tyler dressed in a tuxedo and she wore a flowing white wedding gown. It was very beautiful. Cody and Jason were the cutest little ring bearers. It was amazing and it was a day that Lilly would never forget. Time moved quickly after her wedding... too quick and before she knew it, Lilly was as big as a house... well, she felt like she was. She needed Tyler by her side constantly. That wasn't an understatement either. The moment his touch left her she had to sit down. Her body was instantly exhausted. Tyler never complained, though. He actually seemed to enjoy the needy attention. Her cravings were all over the place. The guys all took turns getting her different foods, except for Tyler who couldn't leave her side. Aaron was doing well. He had come over and visited Ethan and Alice when they were up a couple months ago. He was just glad to know that everyone was doing well. He was also very excited about being an Uncle. He took to Jason and Cody right away. Shockingly, so did Cadence! Cadence actually apologized to Lilly the last time they were together. She told her that she regretted how she treated her and wanted to start over as friends. She was being prejudiced about her not being a pure werewolf. The whole pack always looked at Lilly like she was a thorn in their side. A venomous snake that was a danger to their pack and Cadence fell into the pack mentality. She was wrong. The pack was wrong. She promised Lilly that she and Aaron, together, would make things better in the pack. Lilly, being the person she is, accepted her apology and friendship. They even talk on the phone at times. Funny, how things work out sometimes.

Mattie had found his mate... his real one! She was an absolute gem. She was sweet and shy. Would you believe it... she is part witch? The Silver Moon pack is in for some changes. Aaron was a strong leader, and he was paving the way for strong changes. Their pack would accept any mate and anyone who didn't like it was welcomed to leave. He was still very bitter over how Lilly was treated. He was going to make sure no one else experienced being an outcast.

"How's my princess doing?" Cedric asked as he came into the house with Merida. True to his word, they always joined them for dinner.

"I feel like a beached whale." Lilly pouted.

Tyler rubbed her large swollen stomach. "You are beautiful." He leaned down and kissed her temple. He hated it when she complained about her size. She was carrying his baby. She was even more beautiful to him.

"A whale can be beautiful too, but it is still a whale." Lilly frowned as she looked at the huge baby bump.

"Can we get you anything?" Merida asked, with a sweet smile. Merida was fitting right in. She was very kind and always was offering to help. She did not have an aggressive bone in her body. She was a lot like Alice in that way.

"No thanks, Merida. I have a nice little spread in front of me." Lilly looked at all the different snacks. She didn't just eat at mealtimes. She ate around the clock. Part of being a werewolf and feeding a werewolf baby. You were always hungry! "Tristan, Kade, Rosa and Avery have the kids at the field. Looks like they were in the middle of an intense game of tag." Cedric grinned.

"That sounds about right." Tyler laughed happily. Cody and Jason had become a big part of everyone's lives. They all felt connected to them. Kade and Tristan even fought over them and who got to play with them that day. Lilly squeezed tightly onto Tyler's hand. "Baby, are you okay?" Tyler rubbed her arm gently.

"Mmmhmm just some small contractions." Lilly said calmly.

"Okay baby if that's all....wait WHAT?" Tyler jolted upright bumping Lilly around as well.

Lilly giggled. "Calm down... these things take time but I think our little girl is ready to come out."

Tyler was in full blown panic mode. He started barking out mind links to everyone who was assigned a certain task. Tyler had planned out tasks for everyone in his group for when the big day arrived...which was now. He hopped up and started running around, leaving Lilly on the couch to stare at the panicked wolf.

"I'll go get Dottie!" Cedric ran out in a panic.

"I guess he forgot he could just mind link her?" Lilly giggled along with Merida.

"You sure you want a home birth?" Merida asked her. "This is the moment of truth."

"I'm sure. I haven't done the whole formal baby thing with the doctors. Trying to keep everything as natural as possible. Plus, it will be nice to just be home. Who can sleep in hospitals anyways? I want to be able to have visitors freely." Lilly frowned as another contraction came on this time a bit stronger.

"Tyler, will you get over here and comfort her." Merida spoke out in the most aggressive tone they ever heard come out of her mouth.

Tyler smirked. "Looks like being around werewolves has turned you savage." He saw her blush in embarrassment as he managed to put his head back on. He was back at Lilly's side. "What do you need from me baby?"

"I think I need to get upstairs before these contractions get worse." Lilly said after she finished breathing through her contraction. Tyler lifted her into his arms, carrying her up the stairs bridal style.

"Tyler, I am too heavy for this." Lilly protested, but he gave her a look like she was crazy.

"Baby, I can carry you and our baby easily." Tyler effortlessly carried her into their room. He was feeling nervous for Lilly. What if it is really painful for her? How can he help her?

"Tyler... I'm fine. Everything is going to be fine. I need you to be calm for me." Lilly cooed out to him as he gently sat her on the bed.

"I guess it's too late to back out now." Tyler said with a smirk.

"You think?" Lilly giggled.

"Has the baby arrived?" Aaron came bursting into the house followed by Cadence.

"Not yet." Alice said, sitting beside Ethan drinking tea. They beat Aaron there traveling with the hippogryph's. The moment the messenger fairy got there they left.

Tristan was pacing at the bottom of the stairs. He was just as nervous as Tyler. He felt useless, he wanted to help... there was nothing he could do. Kade and Rosa were coloring with Cody and Jason in the kitchen. Avery, Caleb, Cedric and Merida were sitting with Alice and Ethan. Aaron came over sitting with them. Everyone was waiting for the arrival of the little princess.

Dottie finally came down the stairs. "The mother is doing just fine. Tyler will be coming to talk with you shortly. Now if you would all please excuse me, this old woman is in need of a nap." The gentle lady said, as she walked out of the house.

It felt like hours before Tyler finally came down the stairs. His face was unreadable as he looked around at everyone.

"Well?!" Tristan finally said, not able to take it anymore.

Tears started streaming down Tyler's face. He reached his hands up and rested his head in them.

Everyone froze. Oh no. What happened?

Tyler couldn't stop the streams coming from his eyes. His emotions were out of control He felt like the pregnant woman... though they didn't have a pregnant woman anymore. He looked up and wiped his eyes. He saw everyone was looking at him nervously. He shook his head and smiled.

"Lilly is doing fine... she's great. And so are the babies." Tyler grinned widely.

"Did you say babies?!" Alice squealed hopping up.

"We had twins. A little girl and a little boy." Tyler beamed proudly. He was shocked. Shocked with happiness.

"Hell, yeah Tyler! When you do something, you do it right!" Tristan grabbed him in a head lock and messed up his hair.

"We would like for you guys to come up and meet them." Tyler said as he managed to escape Tristan's death hold. "Cody... Jason...Come on boys." Tyler picked both boys up and led the way to his room. He opened the door and Lilly looked up. She was holding the two little bundles in her arms.

Tyler lowered Cody and Jason down. They both ran and climbed up next to Lilly. They looked down at the two babies.

"Do you want to hold them?" Lilly asked her two little men.

"Yes, but this one is mine." Jason said pointing to one.

"Yeah, and this one is mine." Cody said pointing to the other.

"Boys they can both be yours." Lilly giggled and the two boys looked at her and shook their head.

"No, that one isn't mine. I'm this one's guardian." Cody said and Jason shook his head agreeing.

"Yeah, that's right. I am only this one's guardian. They are both our siblings, but we are only the guardian to one." Jason said.

"Well, I'll be..." Alice said as she walked up closer to see her new grandbabies. "I guess that's why you chose two guardians... your body knew you had two babies and picked a guardian for both of them."

Tyler sat beside Lilly and smiled down at his family. "Okay Cody, sit back and hold your arms out." Tyler lifted the tiny baby in his arms and sat it in Cody's. "This is Rhea, Cody. You chose to be the guardian of the little princess."

"You ready Jason?" Lilly asked, as she sat the little infant into his arms. "This is Wyatt. You are the guardian of the future Alpha."

Both boys were smiling. They were content, calm, and very enamored with the new babies.

Tyler rested his head on Lilly. "You did so well." He kissed the top of her head gently.

"I take it, you didn't feel the childbirth... you know, since you are still standing and all." Kade teased with a grin.

"Haha. No, I didn't and after seeing what she went through, I am thankful that was something I didn't have to feel." Tyler shook his head and gave a crooked grin. In fact, he didn't want Lilly going through it again. They got their little girl and their little boy... as far as he was concerned, they were blessed beyond measure and their family was complete.

Lilly looked up to him and smiled. She agreed. This moment was perfect. Their family was perfect.

Tristan leaned closer to look at the two new arrivals.

"Easy Tristan." Cody snapped and held Rhea protectively up to his chest.

Tristan chuckled. "Already the overprotective guardians. Got to love how history repeats itself."

"I guess we know why your body was getting so drained. You had two little magic babies sucking your energy up." Alice giggled.

"I guess that makes sense. Tyler couldn't leave my side, even for a second this last month. I'm looking forward to having some time to myself again." Lilly teased, as she scrunched up her nose.

"Don't count on it. I've gotten used to being around you every single second. I'm the one who will go through withdraw now. I think I will just keep it up. I never minded." Tyler winked as Lilly rolled her eyes at him.

"We will let you rest Lilly. We will come back and visit in a couple weeks after you get more settled." Alice leaned in and kissed Lilly's forehead.

"Congratulations to you both. Get some rest Lilly." Ethan said pointing his finger at his daughter.

\tEveryone slowly trickled out of the room. Leaving Tristan and the two boys as the last.

\t\t"Come on boys. We are going to camp out for a couple days. I'll show you how to be good future guardians." Tristan volunteered to keep the boys busy. He knew Tyler and Lilly would need a couple days to adjust. Especially with her just giving birth. "Yay!" The boys cheered. Tyler and Lilly each scooped up an infant as they watched Tristan run out of the room with the two youngsters.

Tyler held Wyatt in his arms and cuddled him into his chest as he snuggled beside Lilly. "Baby, you feeling alright?"

Lilly giggled. "Tyler, you can feel how I am feeling. I am just fine. I'm tired, but very happy. Everything is perfect. Our family is perfect."

"You were amazing Lilly. I can't believe it. We went from a family of two... to a family of four... to a family of six with in months." Tyler chuckled. "I thought we were supposed to be wolves not rabbits."

Later that night...

Tyler checked on both babies as they slept in the bassinet before tiptoeing to bed. He slipped beside Lilly and pulled her into his arms.

"I wonder what the future has in store for our family?" Tyler sighed as he breathed in her scent.

"Whatever it is... we will be there for them whenever they need us." She leaned into his touch with a gentle smile.

"Thank you... thank you for giving me a family, for being my mate, for your unconditional love... thank you for everything." Tyler planted little kisses all along her face.

"I never thought growing up that I would have all of this Tyler. I am the luckiest girl in the world. This is the life that I could only have ever read about before meeting you. I never wanted a mate growing up... even when I met you, I ran from you." They both chuckled at that part. "You were exactly what I needed. You accepted me and loved me so deeply. I never thought I could ever feel this strongly about someone... let alone that they would feel the same way about me. I love you Tyler. I don't care what destiny we are meant to face, as long as we face it together." She tilted her head up and kissed his lips.

"I love you Lilly. Thank you for being my reason. Thank you for being my destiny."

He rested his lips down onto hers, kissing her tenderly with a gentle warmth. His love and adoration for her echoed into her mind as hers did for him. As long as they were together, they would face whatever life had in store. They would rise to meet their destiny as a power couple. Their love was meant to transcend boundaries. For this was not the end to their love story. No... it was only the beginning.
