Dr. Mitchell: Chapter 19
I walked through the yacht with Jake and found myself in awe. The marble and slate were the most pronounced of all the décor. There were also gold and silver accents that were sprinkled throughout the different rooms we walked through. It was all more than the average person like myself could take in. This yacht was fashioned to exude wealth, and that’s what was on display while Jake led us toward an elevator. An elevator. Inside a boat? I could hardly believe what I was seeing.
The crowds had parted for Jake, the women in high-end cocktail dresses while men were in button-down shirts and trousers. They fit the design of the interior of Jake’s yacht as if they were made to live on it. We passed by two bars, and rooms with opulent lighting fixtures. The area we stood in now reminded me of those expensive hotel entryways with a slate waterfall, taking up the entire wall behind where we stood and waited for the elevator.
Jake politely greeted the guests on the boat, his hand clutching mine tightly. If he was worried about me getting lost in the crowd, he had no reason to be. I already knew I would stand out from these crowds. It was easy to put it together that Jake came from wealth, but to watch him engage with the company of this lifestyle was a different story. I had a feeling this was going to be a peculiar night for sure.
Once in the elevator, Jake remained silent with the attendant—yes, the small elevator was staffed like we were in a skyscraper. The man hit a button, and within seconds, we were on a quiet floor that seemed to be one of its own, another world of the boat, perhaps? No noise, no people, and I had no idea where we were.
“Well, that was exhilarating.” He grinned back at me. “Fleeing the press mobs and my guests.” He ran his other hand through his hair. “Exactly how I wanted to end our evening.”
I laughed at him as he tried to process everything. “Um, I think the evening just started?”
“Nah, I’ll lock this floor down, and they’ll never replace us where my room is.”
“Funny,” I said. “I have a feeling your brother isn’t letting you off that easy.”
He turned just before the hall we were in opened up into another seating area. Windows were on each side with cream leather furniture, and the bar I spotted was backlit with a beautiful cobalt blue, but there was no bartender or anyone out in that area.
“You still with me?” Jake asked, standing in front of the beautifully polished wooden door.
“Just trying to absorb this boat’s beauty, that’s all.”
“Kind of sexy, isn’t it?”
I smirked. “And now I understand the meaning behind the outlandish yacht’s name.”
He laughed. “Get your ass in here.”
I followed Jake into the large living area of his room. “This is a bedroom?”
“It’s living quarters or whatever you call them.” He smiled at me. “See, I told you.” He pulled me through the room to where a massive bed was set in front of a beautiful teak wood wall. “You wouldn’t even know you were out on the ocean.”
He pulled me close to him. “Our clothes will be here any second, or else I’d be fucking you right here and now,” he said, towering over me with that damn smile.
“Are those windows?” I pointed to the coverings to each side of the bed.
“To the balcony,” he said. “It runs both sides of the room. There’s a hot tub out that direction.” He pointed to where the cream window coverings were automatically pulling back to display the night lights over the ocean. “It’s all private and quite enjoyable,” he said, and for the first time, I saw his pride in his yacht. “I’d like to say you’d get lost on this boat, but after I win my bet from earlier, you’ll have this all down like it’s your own home while we’re in Cabo.”
I walked over to him after he took his suit jacket off and tossed it on the bed. I couldn’t resist running my hands over his biceps in his blue button-down shirt. They always seemed to stretch against the fabric, and it wasn’t helping me right now. Jake missed our sex, and I was feeling the same way. His texts throughout the week, teasing me with getting a hotel just to be together, were tempting, but I handled myself pretty good outside of his presence. Now, here he was with this navy shirt that set off the five o’clock shadow on his face, his piercing blue eyes, and his coal-black hair.
“You’re as beautiful as this boat,” I teased him, pulling me in close and kissing what seemed to be his favorite part of my body, my neck.
“Can’t change the subject. Just admit you’re coming to Cabo with me. Hell, I’ll even allow you to pick out our room if you don’t approve of this one. Boat’s yours, sexy, do what you want with it.”
“Oh, yeah?”
“Stay here,” he said after the door chimed.
I walked over to the balcony where he said the hot tub was, and the door opened the minute I stepped in front of it. Better fix that auto opener if the man holds to his usual way of throwing me up against a wall, I thought with a laugh, stepping out on the balcony. If Jake did lose himself in a moment and this door opened like it just swiftly did, we’d both most likely fall overboard, and who knew what the press would have to say about Jake’s sex life then?
I looked over, and in an alcove to keep with the sleek lines of Jake’s dark gray yacht, a spa was shimmering in an array of different shifting colors.
Jake came up behind me and pressed his lips on my shoulder. “You smell delicious,” he said, fingertips gliding over the outside of my legs, pulling my dress up. “I need you now,” he said, his lips nipping at my ear.
“Jake,” I said, and then my mouth was captured by his, and I knew our weekend on this yacht was going to have us acting as wildly as we did at his beach house.
I missed his aggressive and hungry kiss, his groans, and apparently, I’d missed them so much I didn’t realize my guy was stripping me out of my expensive dress.
“Shit,” I tried to cover up. “I hear people. Music.” I was breathless, now feeling the perfect and smooth muscles of his chest. “We’re so screwed.”
Jake’s flirty smile was a delicious sight to behold. “Hell yes, we’re screwed, and I’m taking your ass right here. You’re holding onto that rail while I fuck you into the orgasm that’s going to make you scream my name louder than the music coming from the party floor of this boat. I’m taking you to Cabo, baby.”
I turned around, teasing him with my ass and spreading my legs for him. He was just as flawless as I remembered as he gave me the best orgasm a woman could ask for. His enormous cock thrust deeply inside me after I cried out, riding the orgasm he quickly achieved with me in this state. I licked my lips, seeing and hearing the yacht cruising through the water as it gained speed.
His groans, his massive cock, all of it—he was about to win his little Cabo bet after another orgasm rolled through my entire body. I screamed out his name while running my fingers through his hair and gripping it. His hands clutched my waist as he thrust in deeper, his teeth softly caressing the skin over the side of my neck.
Jake braced an arm on the rail before us, and his hand brushed over my breast while we both fought to catch our breath with this impulsive decision to go for it right here and now. “I’ve missed you,” he said, kissing my cheek as I tried to pull myself together. “Now I think I can deal with the rest of the night, especially seeing you in your swimsuit.”
Jake and I pulled away from our sexual position and walked into the bedroom of his yacht. “This way,” he said. “The shower is back here.”
“What are you talking about? Swimsuit? For the rest of the night? Is there something about this little birthday party of yours that you forgot you planned that I should know about?”
He chuckled. “I’ll be right there with you.” He walked me into a bathroom fit for a king and turned on the water to the glass shower. “Come on, let me clean you up.”
I stepped into the luxurious shower. “Why the bathing suits? I’m not cool partying with a bunch of people—”
His lips covered mine and silenced me while he grabbed the soap and proceeded to give me a massage with his strong hands like he always did when we hit the shower after our crazy sex interludes. “Relax, babe.” He kissed my nose, running soap over my shoulders and down my arms. This guy should have been a masseuse. “Tradition of birthdays anywhere near a pool means the birthday boy and his girl go into the water. I’ve already texted Jim to leave you out of this, but my brother seems all-too-excited that his little brother is here with the first woman to settle his ass down, so I think you and I are going into a pool tonight for that reason alone.” He laughed.
I kissed his perfect lips, grabbing the soap myself, and taking my turn with his body. “You seem a little too excited about this,” I said as he dropped his forehead to mine. His muscles were tight with the tension brought on from dealing with this stupid celebrity crap that seemed to be a nightmare for him.
“Very,” he said, his hands cupping my ass. “Though I knew something would happen like this tonight—birthday or not. The boys all know you’re my girl, and so they’re coming after us just for the hell of it tonight. I have a stunning cover-up for your swimsuit as well. Hopefully that will keep you comfortable.”
“Comfortable?” I said as he began washing his hair. “Um, not being the victim of the crazy, frat-boy initiation that you’re talking about will make me comfortable.”
He looked at me with concern. “Babe, I’m not going to let anyone hurt—”
I placed a finger over his lips. “Stop. It’s your birthday. Let’s enjoy every minute of it. And yes, you win the Cabo bet.”
He pressed his lips into my finger. “I already knew that.”
This night was already kicking off in the wild and crazy way I sort of imagined it would. Now, here we were, cleaning up and heading out to Jake’s birthday party with his close friends and the chicks from the Playboy Mansion on another private deck of this yacht. Jake opted for a beer, and I followed his pace in having one myself.
He interlaced his fingers with mine. “Time to meet the boys, Ash,” he said, bringing me over to the far corner of the yacht.
I put on a brave face. I’d met his brother, but not his friends, and God only knew what The Billionaires’ Club all thought of me. By the knowing grins on these three, drop-dead gorgeous male specimens, I had a feeling this was going to be one crazy night. I only hoped I could keep up with the company of these men, and the women who I didn’t fail to notice were speculating about the woman who was walking with Jacob Mitchell.
I had to keep it chill. These were Jake’s friends, and I was the outsider here. This was awkward, but I instinctively felt like I couldn’t show weakness around the women who were looking at Jake and me like it was a shame we’d ruined their night.
If that wasn’t enough, my boss, Lillian, was in the crowd of women. Fuck me. I’d barely tolerated the fake snob of a woman all day at work, and now she was here. Calm down, Ash, I thought, knowing Jake couldn’t stand her, so who knew how she’d fare out here with him trying to celebrate his birthday.
Who the hell knew how any of this would work out. This was the party side of the man I’d fallen for, and it would be interesting to watch the night play out.
