Falling For Storm -
Chapter 10
Amara
I woke up disoriented, and it took time before I realized that I wasn’t in my dorm room. I also noticed that I had my back on someone’s muscular front, and I was apparently caged in his arms. For a second, panic began to rise, and I was about ready to scream my lungs out and fight my way out of the arms encircling me. But as I took in my surroundings, I suddenly remembered where I was. Not knowing what to do, I chose to slowly turn around, only to replace Storm sleeping almost completely naked. Oh my! I have never in my life seen anything like this before, and I immediately thought that I was about to pop a vein in my head. It was just too much! This must be how some anime characters feel before their noses start to bleed. I was supposed to feel shocked or embarrassed—just any type of emotion that didn’t involve excitement—but here I was, ogling his hotness. How was it possible for someone to look this damn hot while sleeping? Shouldn’t this be considered a crime? I was so tempted to run my hands all over his body right now, but I didn’t want him to think that I was secretly perverted. Should I, though? I mean, he was completely knocked out, so... Maybe he wouldn’t know. There was no way he would know, right?
He was all muscle and smoothness, and the worst part was that staring at him did things to my lady part. It was all tingly and moist, so I squeezed my thighs together, hoping that it would somehow eliminate that funny feeling. After a lot of back and forth in my head, I finally but slowly reached out, giving in to temptation, and just when my hand was about to land on his chest, he caught it and started a slow and painfully sensual smile before opening his eyes to meet mine.
“What are you doing?” he asked.
“Nothing,” I answered defensively.
“Whatever it was you were trying to do, I won’t mind.”
I looked at him with my brows pinched together, wondering if he could actually read my mind or if he was just pretending to be asleep the entire time.
“What do you think I was about to do?” I questioned, trying to sound as innocent as I could.
“You were about to touch me,” he said, smirking.
He then placed my hand over his lips, kissing my palm, before slowly sliding it down, stopping just right above his boxer briefs. Oh my god! Was he trying to tell me to touch his thing? The better question was, did I want to? Yes! I probably did.
“Are you enjoying this so far or?” he playfully asked.
I visibly swallowed, suddenly feeling thirsty, before pretending to be thinking really hard. He, of course, maintained a playful smile on his lips while he waited for my answer.
“Not quite; it was just okay, I guess.” I shrugged a bit, feigning nonchalance, but deep down, I was all puddle and Jell-O.
I was expecting him to banter with me, but instead, he growled and quickly moved. His movement was so fast that when I blinked, he was suddenly on top of me, holding my arms above my head before hungrily claiming my mouth. He then pushed his tongue into my mouth and lapped at mine, making my head spin with pleasure. As if that wasn’t enough for him, he started grinding his hips, effectively rubbing his front against mine, and I whimpered helplessly. With every grind, he caused a delicious kind of friction between my thighs that drove me crazy. Wow! just wow! I didn’t know what I wanted, but if he ended up wanting to do more than just kiss and grind, I’d probably let him have his way with me if he asked. Just as we were about to get lost in body grinding and tongue-twisting some more, a loud knock broke our hot make-out session.
“What?!” Storm asked a little too loudly, clearly irritated by the interruption.
“Uh, remember that thing we needed to do about the thing last night? We need to go in twenty,” Hunter said from behind the door.
“Fine! Give me a minute.” Storm groaned, burying his face in the crook of my neck.
“What thing?” I asked.
“Business hiccup at the bar,” he explained as he planted small kisses on my neck.
He gave me one last kiss before standing up to put some clothes on, and I shamelessly watched his every move, clearly mesmerized by his hotness. I got up from bed and gathered my things so I could head home too, but then I remembered that I didn’t drive there.
“Hey, Storm, can we call a cab or something?” He stopped getting dressed and turned to face me.
“You’re leaving?” He questioned, looking completely confused.
His question caught me off-guard because I didn’t get why he was even asking that. He and I both knew that I didn’t live here, plus I have classes.
“Uh, yeah. I need to go back to the dorm to change and then go to school,” I replied.
He sighed and closed the gap between us, lifting my chin up so that we were eye to eye.
“Your class starts at 10 and it’s only 6 in the morning. What I have to do won’t take long. Also, you need to eat breakfast. Treat this as your home. Take a shower if you want, but don’t go anywhere and wait for me. I’ll drive you back, okay?”
I nodded in agreement, and then he quickly pulled his shirt on before tugging me out of his room and into the kitchen for breakfast.
By 9:40 in the morning, I was already inside the classroom doing some advanced studying when a certain guy stood beside me and cleared his throat. My head snapped up to where he was, and I didn’t smile or say anything. I just raised my brows as if I were silently asking him what he wanted.
“Amara, right? I’m Eric. I know we had just met, but I forgot my books and my house is too far, so I was wondering if we could share?” He asked.
He wasn’t exactly acting like a jerk, but something about him gave me goosebumps, and they weren’t exactly the pleasant kind. They were more like the feeling of being aware that there was something about him I couldn’t quite explain. I wanted to say no, but the nice girl I was taught to be won, and so I gave in.
“Yeah, sure.”
Eric sat really close to me the entire lecture since we were sharing my books, and it made me uncomfortable at times, though it didn’t feel like he was doing it on purpose. He didn’t actually talk much. The only time he did was when he had to ask questions or if he needed help with some of the notes. He didn’t act differently at all, but I still felt uneasy the whole time. I couldn’t explain it, but my senses and my gut told me that I should be careful when he was around. I had never felt like that for anyone, so I thought it was absolutely weird. It was like I was judging him before I even got to know him, and it made me feel bad because I despised judgmental people and now I was turning into one.
Before the class ended, our professor gave us a project that involved sketching or painting landscapes. He said we were allowed to gain inspiration from anywhere and everywhere, including Google. The important part was that we should paint or sketch something that was either a memorable place or somewhere you wanted to visit.
“So, which one is it going to be? Google or a personal visit?” Eric asked.
I didn’t want to answer him, but I also didn’t want to be rude, so I said, “Personal visit, though I’m not sure how to get there.”
He nodded in understanding and slung his bag over his shoulder.
Well, if you need help, let me know. Maybe we could partner up or something,” he offered, already walking away and out of the classroom.
I went about my day at school as usual. I went to all my classes, took notes, and went to the library to study some more during my free period. By six in the evening, I was ready to go back to the dorm and pass out. It was a tiring day, and as much as I enjoyed being in school and living my life, a huge part of me felt that there was something off and that there were things missing—missing, as in, a distant memory I couldn’t figure out, especially right after I met Eric.
