Fated For Lycan's Luna -
Chapter 196
Blake
Rumble!!!
As the thunder and lightning covered the dark expanse of the Rain Valley, so were the attacks beingreleased back and forth.
With the explosive blows he had released for quite a long period of exchange, I could not help butadmire his might. How could he last for so long maintaining the peak condition of his attacks whilealso receiving blows from me?
“C'mmon... Aren’t you so arrogant to say that you would subdue me and show me what you aremade of?” There was a trace of impatience on the Rain Valley Alpha's tone.
“If you are not going to move, then I'll take that as you admitting your defeat!” With that hegathered all his power and charged once more with another attack.
I stood there unmoving, my heart was still contemplating as to why there is a small part of me thatwas hesitant to take the life of this Alpha.
It's like something from far away... where my hands couldn't reach, tells me that I have to spare theRain Valley Pack!
However, in the utterly muddy and rainy valley, a seemingly large fireball approached toward me ata fast speed. At the speed and the scale that it is moving, a heavy foreboding sense of dangerarouses in the entire battlefield.
“Stand Back!” I yelled with all my might as I asked Eron to partially shift with me.
We stared at the Rain Valley Alphas attack and mustered our strength. Since he had alreadydecided to end this battle with this, we must settle it then and there before Alpha Kain’s men couldget a wind of what is happening.
“Eron... let's go!” With that we charged at the trajectory of the Alphas attack and a massive clashingof power happened.
Fiery orange light met my metallic silver power, which made the pitch dark rainy valley light up for afew seconds like it was day time.
"Alpha Sabre!!!” My men all shouted in panic, however the explosion and the sound of a large chunkof mud raining down from above had already drowned their voices.
As everyone's view was temporarily blinded by this spectacle, I could feel my arms trembling in pain.It was fortunate for me to not underestimate him at all.
Even so, that last attack that he had was still too much for me to handle with just partially shifting. Ilet out a helpless sigh, it seems like I need to train more if I wanted to make sure that I could standmy ground against Kain.
Afterwards, my attention and senses came back to detecting where my opponent was. The counterattack I had made earlier was enough to attempt to incapacitate him, however, I still remainedvigilant should he still have the power to attack.
The next moment, the skies cleared, the rainy clouds were moved by the explosion and the moonshone brightly on the battlefield.
There we saw, the moonlight faintly raining down on the Rain Valley's Alpha with his knees on theground and his right hand hanging weakly.
Blood is seen in his mouth as his face paled and his eyes slowly grew faint.
“Alpha!” The Rain Valley Pack cried in despair.
As I saw clearly, he no longer had the strength to withstand another blow from me and so I slowlyapproached him.
“Don’t come near him!” The Rain Valley Members shouted, baring their fangs as tears flowed intotheir bloodshot eyes.
"Everyone, don't dare to take a single step!” With all his might, the Rain Valley Alpha shouted at hismen with his authority.
The pack gritted their teeth, but the rage in their eyes did not subside.
"What are you waiting for? I, Alpha Nador of the Rain Valley have lost... but I know I am in noposition to ask you something, but please spare my pack... Do what you need to do and take mylife.”
For the first time in the exchange, the Alpha of the Rain Valley Pack, Alpha Nador, said in a defeatedmanner.
“No! Alpha! We can still fight!” The members all heard their Alpha’s words and replied.
“Shut your mouth! I have already decided! Our Rain Valley Alpha had already fallen intounrighteousness because of that Alpha Kain. With my life I shall atone for our bloodstained hands!”Alpha Nador declared as he looked at me with determination.
Just then, that strange feeling caught my attention again, this time, the thought was so audible thatI could not unhear it.
“My Child, do not hurt my children anymore...” As I heard this mysterious voice, the moonlightswept into the entirety of the Rain Valley Territory which was behind the defeated back of theirAlpha, Nador.
I looked up and saw the full moon, shining brightly in a faint golden light. “I see...” Following thosewords whom I heard, I looked at Alpha Nador and said.
“I won't get your life... As I said, your Rain Valley Pack is a great loss to be eradicated.” I said, whileknowing full well that I was going back on my words just before we planned to attack this place.“You can't do that... I have lost... and even if you spare my life, that Alpha Kain would figure it outwhen he could not replace my corpse in the middle of the ruin.” Alpha Nador insisted.
“In truth, it would be easier for me to do as you said, however, I cannot violate what the MoonGoddess had commanded!” Seeing that he was as determined as he was with his death, I repliedwhile beconking him to look up.
That is when Alpha Nador realized that the moon had shone brightly at the Rain Valley, so clearlywithout any rain.
His eyes trembled as tears threatened to flow in his golden eyes.
“If you insist to atone for your sins, then do it by helping us liberate the werekind against the TyrantAlpha Kain!"
“With you as our ally and our helper we will be one step closer in defeating his sinister regime!”
