Feelings through poetry -
Part 2 - Assumptions and delusions
Sometimes, you assume things, you’re convinced are real, but then you realize you were wrong. There are so many delusions - you think your work is good, then look at it after some time understanding it’s terrible. You think someone is your friend, but in the end, you know they were fake and never cared about you. You love someone until you realize who they indeed are. You think people tell the truth until you understand everything turned out to be a lie.
You’re convinced people will never leave you, though, they suddenly die. Don’t you ask yourself: “Why did you leave me? How could you? “.
Yes, sometimes we can all be delusional. It is just a matter of time what happens and when it happens.
Enjoy what you have at the moment because you don’t know how long it will last, and take before something ends up wrong. Then, you’ll say: “This can’t be happening; it wasn’t supposed to be like this.”
