Kruiz chuckled, unfazed. "Flora, I thought of something on the plane today, and since we're finally meeting, I'd love to chat about it with you later."

In the world of medicine, Kruiz was like a kid in a candy store completely obsessed.

Flora looked away quietly, but Kruiz didn't mind and kept on talking. He didn't have that celebrity air about him at all.

Watching Flora, who seemed a bit aloof, and Kruiz, who was chatting away non-stop, Mr. Richard's face slowly turned to stone, as if he'd been hit by a bolt from the blue.

He was still trying to wrap his head around it. Did Flora and Kruiz already know each other? They seemed really close!

Suddenly, Mr. Richard remembered something Flora had told him earlier. She'd said she knew Kruiz and even had his contact info. He'd thought she was joking and hadn't taken her seriously. Now he realized he'd missed the chance to get Kruiz's contact! "Mr. Garcia." A voice behind him snapped him out of his thoughts with a gentle nudge.

Mr. Richard shook off his surprise and smiled, "Kruiz, it's been a long trip for you. We've got a hotel and a welcome dinner all set up."

Kruiz wasn't too interested in the dinner, gave a nonchalant hum, and continued his discussion with Flora.

Mr. Richard led them out of the airport. Flora listened to Kruiz with a laid-back vibe, occasionally throwing in a response, but she was actually paying close attention and could zero in on the key points. Suddenly, she frowned, her sharp eyes darting to a spot.

A paparazzo, thrilled to be snapping photos, froze under her icy stare, quickly stashing his camera.

Flora coolly turned away. The paparazzo, still a bit shaken, was also annoyed. Why the glare?

Every year, the medical center had visitors around this time. The media were always itching for a scoop. He'd been hanging around for days to get this shot.

Thinking back to Flora's look, the paparazzo felt a bit miffed but then had an idea. He checked his camera.

In the photo, Flora looked laid-back, almost dismissive toward the folks from the medical center.

His eyes lit up, News about world champion Flora, acting like she's above everyone-even snubbing the medical center-would grab

attention, right? With a picture as a starting point, the rest could be spun any way he wanted. It's not like anyone from the medical center

would rush to defend her.

At the hotel, in a private room, Mr. Richard, Kruiz, Flora, and several medical center disciples sat around a table.

"Sister Flora, our mentor always

talks about you. You're incredible; we really admire you!" a girl said warmly, standing up. "Can't wait for you to join the medical center! Once you're there, if you need anything, just ask!"

"Absolutely, when you arrive, we'll be there to welcome you!"

The brothers and sisters from the medical center chimed in with enthusiasm. They genuinely liked Flora, not just because she was talented, but she was stunning too! Beautiful people naturally draw others in.

Mr. Richard beamed. Looked like he didn't have to worry. Flora was definitely the group's sweetheart!

With Kruiz backing her up, once she

headed to Lone Island and joined the medical center, no one would dare mess with her. If her friends knew what he was thinking, they'd probably be rolling their eyes. Seriously, Flora was set to be the future daughter-in-law of the Falcone family and the young

heiress of the Reyes family; who

would dare cross her? Only

someone with a death wish!

"Ding"

Mr. Richard's phone buzzed. He glanced at it, and his face fell.

[Flora thinks she's better than everyone, doesn't even respect the folks from the medical center. Is this how a world champion behaves? Isn't she afraid they'll just walk away? She really thinks she's untouchable.]
