Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life -
Chapter 377
"Just do what I tell you, no need for all the drama!"
The memory of that day was a humiliation for Jillian, and Odelia's mention of it made her blood boil.
"Odelia, I'm trying to talk to you civilly. Don't think I'm a pushover. Even if I'm not at the University of Maple Grove, I can make sure you can't stay in school."
Jillian's threat was clear. "Besides, this time, it's foolproof. All you have to do is hand this box of cookies to Flora. Once this is done, I promise I'll leave you alone and keep supporting your family."
Odelia forced a bitter smile. The thought of Jillian leaving her alone was a relief in itself; she didn't dare hope for any financial help.
Jillian pressed on, "Take the risk, or I'll ruin you right now. Your choice."
Odelia clenched her fists. If she refused, Jillian would definitely not let her off the hook; she would ruin her reputation without hesitation.
Deep down, Odelia harbored resentment towards Flora but had never found an opportunity to act on it.
Jillian wouldn't dare make a move again after her last failure unless she was absolutely certain of success this time, right?
"Fine, I'll help you. But this is the last time. Don't you dare come to me again!"
Odelia decided to take the gamble.
A triumphant smile spread across Jillian's face.
After returning from the office that day, Christian had locked her up and even talked about sending her abroad.
She had barely managed to escape.
Her life was ruined by Flora, and she wouldn't let Flora get away with it!
After handing the water to Odelia, she headed straight to classroom 207 in building three.
This classroom was always empty, most importantly, it had no surveillance cameras.
She took out a brand-new laptop from her bag.
She opened an explicit video.
If someone found out the nation's top student, Flora, was in that classroom... it would certainly cause quite a stir.
When class ended, Cynthia stood at the podium and said, "Class, hold on a moment before you leave. Let's talk about the welcome party."
"In two weeks, it's the school's welcome party. Each department needs to present three acts, and the counselor said each class should prepare two acts first. Then we'll choose the best three to perform at the welcome party."
"I'll do a solo dance for one act. For the other, I was thinking of a dance routine. I've already picked out the choreography. Besides me, we need three more girls and two boys. Who wants to volunteer? It'd be great if you have some dance skills, so it'll be easier to practice."
Two boys quickly volunteered, but out of all the girls in the class, only two agreed to join.
They were still one girl short.
"Dear cultural committee member, we still have two weeks until the welcome party. We can take our time choosing. Can we go eat now? If we're late, there won't be any food left."
"Alright, go ahead," Cynthia said, a bit exasperated.
"Flora, could you join to make up the numbers?" Everyone else had left, and Cynthia turned to Flora.
Seeing her pleading look, Flora nodded in agreement.
Cynthia was overjoyed and wrote Flora's name in her notebook.
She needed to submit the list to the counselor, and Eilies went with her. Flora headed back to the dorm.
She hadn't left the building when Odelia hesitantly blocked her path.
