Everyone's faces lit up with a mix of excitement and curiosity, with some even recording the scene on their smartphones. The chants of "Flora" echoed through the air, sending a thrill through everyone present. "Brave souls!" someone whispered. "Confessing to a high-flyer in public!"

"Enough, Maddox. No need to shout anymore," Ivan said sternly.

With so many people gathered, the impact was evident. If Flora was in her dorm, she definitely heard it.

"Bro, something feels off," Maddox said, frowning.

"Yeah, bro, something's not right," another chimed in.

Before they could figure out what was wrong, a squad of security guards approached. Twenty minutes later, they were all standing in Mr. Trevor's office in the Computer Science Department.

...

"Flora, they've been chased away!" Cynthia burst into the room, fuming.

Thankfully, the security guards acted quickly. She had been ready to storm down and give them a piece of her mind, slipper in hand.

"What were they thinking? This was just to embarrass Flora! Who do these nobodies think they are, daring to confess to her?"

The whole fiasco had become a joke on the online forums. Flora stayed silent but was visibly annoyed by the disturbance.

Back in the Computer Science Department, Mr. Trevor was not pleased.

"So, you've got guts now? Going to the Medical Department's female dorm and publicly confessing, only to be escorted back by their security!"

He looked at the young men before him, exasperated.

"Our department may have fewer girls, but we do have some. If you wanted girlfriends, you could have just looked here. Was there really a need to go all the way to the Medical Department? I want a written reflection from all of you!"

It was embarrassing to have caused such a scene in another department. Usually, these boys were reliable, buried in their coding, but today they had really outdone themselves.

"Sir, we didn't go there to confess..." Ivan began, frowning.

Mr. Trevor wasn't buying it.

"I don't mean to criticize, but your method of confession was clichéd and tacky. No wonder girls wouldn't be interested in you!"

Standing below a girl's dorm with a megaphone? How embarrassing for the girl! At the very least, they should have brought flowers. No wonder they were still single. Maybe they needed a special course on romance.

"Sir, once you see this, you'll understand why we had to replace Flora," Ivan said, pulling out a laptop.

He showed Mr. Trevor Flora's web design project. Initially impatient, Mr. Trevor glanced at the screen, but the sight of the sleek black and green code caught his eye. He couldn't help but take a closer look. His expression grew serious. After thoroughly examining the code, a flicker of excitement appeared in his eyes.

"This code, Flora wrote it."

Hearing Ivan's words, Mr. Trevor's eyes widened. He looked at the code again, shocked.

"She's from the Medical Department, though..."

Mr. Trevor murmured, internally raging. With such talent in computing, why was she in the Medical Department?

"The inter-collegiate competition is coming up soon. We were thinking of testing Flora's programming skills. If she's really good, we'd like her to join our team for the competition," Ivan explained.

Although the idea of a Medical Department freshman representing the Computer Science Department sounded ludicrous, if Flora truly had the talent, it wasn't entirely out of the question.

Now understanding everything, Mr. Trevor remarked, "...then I feel like you might have already offended her."
