Flora's voice slipped through the air like a curse from behind.

Libby's back stiffened in an instant! She gulped, spun around, and tried to wear an innocent expression as she faced Flora. But her youth betrayed her. Instead of looking innocent, she came off as a bit of a fool.

"Think you can just leave like that?"

Flora looked at her lazily, her eyes narrowing slightly with a cold glint.

Libby protested, "Flora, I've already admitted I misunderstood you. Are you still going to hold onto this?"

Her words twisted the situation, making it seem like Flora was the one being unreasonable.

Flora thought Libby really shouldn't have gone into medicine. She should've been in drama school instead. Libby had caused her trouble multiple times before, and Flora had always let it slide. But it seemed Libby had mistaken her kindness for weakness. If she didn't teach her a lesson now, these incidents would just keep coming. So annoying.

Flora rubbed her wrist and said, "Post an apology on your forum and Twitter account, and then on Monday, we'll have a school-wide announcement. Only then will this matter be settled."

As Flora finished speaking, Libby's hands clenched tightly at her sides. Her pride was her Achilles' heel. Being forced to publicly admit her mistakes was worse than death for her! She could already imagine the whispers.

They'd definitely say she was jealous of a classmate's perfect score and had tried to frame her!

"No way!"

She couldn't keep up her act any longer, her voice sharp as she screamed. Realizing she might have overdone it, she quickly turned to Mr. Trevor, sobbing, "Mr. Trevor, I was just rightfully suspicious. After all, it's hard to believe Flora scored a perfect mark. Many students share my doubts. If this leads to a school-wide announcement, who would dare to speak up in the future?"

Although Mr. Trevor was currently very annoyed with Libby, her point had some merit. The situation hadn't escalated to the point of a school-wide announcement yet. But Flora wouldn't budge. She was protected by both Dr. Ray and Jules; they would surely back her up.

Mr. Trevor felt a headache coming on.

"Flora, I've already apologized and admitted I misunderstood you. But that's all I'm doing," Libby said, taking a breath before turning and leaving.

"If you won't accept this solution, I'll replace my own way," Flora's indifferent voice followed her, making Libby pause before she strode out of the office.

Hmph. She didn't believe Flora could do anything to her! Could she really rule the University of Maple Grove by herself?

Flora calmly withdrew her gaze. She had given Libby a chance, but she hadn't seized it.

Dr. Ray watched Flora, words rolling around in his mouth several times, but he just couldn't say them. In the end, he pushed up his glasses, feeling awkward, "Flora, congratulations on your perfect score. Remember to come to the lab on time next Monday."

He actually wanted to apologize to Flora. But with so many people in the office, he found it hard to say. He ended up mumbling something awkwardly instead.

"Kicking Flora out before, and now wanting her back when you realize her worth?" Jules gave him a look, "Nice try! As if we'd bother with your lousy lab now!"

Dr. Ray was mortified, internally cursing Jules for being so unfair and publicly undermining him. But he could see that Flora was closer to Jules than to him, so he couldn't really say anything in front of her. Jules enjoyed seeing him defeated, feeling a secret thrill.
