Forgive Me Father DAVID -
Coldnailhurst Avenue
Coldnailhurst Avenue
In September 2003, David Claridge had married Susan and taken on her family name. He said he didn’t want to keep his own as it reminded him of his childhood and the sexual abuse by his mother. After they had married, they had moved into 19a Coldnailhurst Avenue. At last, aged 59, David had finally found contentment, his life was perfect. He and Susan had wanted to move to Essex for some time, The ceremonial county bounded to the south by the River Thames and its estuary; to the southwest by Greater London; to the west the boundary largely defined by the River Lea and the Stort; to the northwest by Cambridgeshire; to the north by Suffolk, a boundary mainly defined by the River Stour; and to the east by the North Sea which is characterised by three major peninsulas, each named after the Hundred based on the peninsula:
David was working as a handyman at the Aspenda Grange Nursing Home, a furnished purpose-built home lived in across two floors, offering residential, nursing and dementia care.
The home has a highly-skilled team of people that has also undergone thorough dementia-specific training, and works towards achieving the coveted caterpillar services kite mark.
Aspenda Grange would take extra care to settle in their residents as smoothly as possible, making them feel part of life at the home incredibly quickly. Residents was allowed to choose the room that appealed to them the most and would be encouraged to bring their own belongings from home to help create their own personal atmosphere.
Residents would benefit from exciting programmes. Activities would be available aimed at improving the physical and mental health of those receiving care, Many of the patients took up gardening, bedding the flowers, other patients preferred to stay indoors watching films and/or taking part in musical entertainments, movement classes, massages and manicures.
Dave loved his work what with the gardening duties and monitoring the environment as required. He was creative with the maintenance and cultivation of the lawns, often bringing in his own hand tools though the home provided the basic light machinery. To keep the borders tidy, and footpaths clear from litter at all times he invested in a leaf blower out of his own pocket, and the home manager allowed him to do that.. In the winter months, Dave would carry out gritting, and salt spreading, and although he should have been clearing the snow around the home, he would build little scenes of snowmen and snow children. The patients enjoyed looking at his creations. In the warmer months, David would design plant rockeries, with beautiful herbaceous borders and shrubberies.
David knew when he had to be serious though, having to respond to emergency calls, maintain a tidy boiler room, the property and asset register, health and safety matters such fire risk assessments and keep test records. He’d have to carry out routine fire drills and evacuation tests as well as making sure all new employees was inducted and familiarised with the fire panel and Company procedures on Day One of their employment
David hated having to look after the water, heating and cooling systems and completing the legionella testing for the site. He often teased the female staff ″Ere love, fancy replacing this light bulb″ he’d say. The older patients would give Dave their opinion on how best to fix minor repairs to furnishings (such a fixing window catches, locks, tap washers etc). Retired decorators now patients would want to help out with scheduled redecoration programmes of communal areas or carry out paint works in vacant bedrooms
Most of the female patients naturally collected general rubbish, recycling or disposing it
David complained about having to attend staff meetings, but he enjoyed the training which was one of the requirements in his contract which allowed him to ensure that required safety standards are maintained with regard to all equipment used
David had finished his shift and couldn’t wait to get home to Susan. She had promised to cook his favorite dinner – Steak, wedges in BBQ sauce, mash and peas. After a nice glass of red to wash down their dinner, they had a caught up on their days’ activities and then, as she slipped her arm through his they walked to their bedroom. Once inside, she was in his arms, as they kissed, her tongue fencing with his, they tore at each others clothes.
Then she was on the bed, as he lay with her his hands were caressing her body and she was on fire with desire. She could feel his erect penis pressing against her, she pushed him onto his back and sat astride him as she fed him inside her, she fucked him whilst his hands held her bouncing breasts. Soon he came inside her and she rolled off him and they lay in each others arms gently kissing until they drifted off into a deep untroubled sleep. The next morning Susan was awakened by a gentle kiss and a wakey, wakey time to get up. ″I don’t ever want to get up, I want to stay here with you forever″ said Susan. ″Well you cant, I have a coach to catch and you need to go shopping″ replied Dave. Honey? She said ″Yes″. ″Are we alright? Do you still want me″ she asked with seriousness in her voice ″Well I need to think about this you know″ Dave replied jokingly, ″DAVID I am being serious″. ″Yes we are fine, I love you and only you, now get up I need a bath and a shave″. ″OK, you shave and I will run the bath″ Susan said.
When he came to get in the bath she was already in it ″Get in″. David stepped into the bath and knelling with his legs either side of hers he picked up the shower gel and squeezed a liberal amount onto her breasts and then wetting his hands he began to soap her breasts. The soap made his hands slide across her skin without any friction, it set her nerve endings on fire as she felt her breasts come alive. Her hand reached out and took hold of his penis and she started to rub him, soon he was erect.
He turned her away from him onto her knees and he entered her from behind, his love making was fast and furious and he shot his load deep inside her. She laid back in his arms whilst he caressed her breasts and kissed her neck. All too soon they had to get out and go down to breakfast and after breakfast Dave collected his bag and they walked to the coach, as she hung off his neck kissing him goodbye a number of comments were shouted from the coach.
Eventually he had to break away and board the coach which she stood and watched as it started its journey to Blackpool, David was spending the day with the patients on a day trip. Then she went and climbed into her car and set of shopping
Blackpool is a town and seaside resort on the Lancashire coast in North West England on the Irish Sea. It had an estimated population of 139,720, making it the most populous town in Lancashire. Travelling would take around 4 hours to cover the 266 miles. But the patients enjoyed it, having a sing song, a game of bingo etc.
Blackpool is home to a jaw-dropping year-round programme of events, with something to keep all the patients entertained.
The older male patients loved the uplifting sight of aircraft flying overhead at the Air Show, followed by the Armed Forces show which celebrated the bravery of active military heroes and veterans in fun events and everyone loved the famous Illuminations Switch-On which brought a whole host of celebrities and music artists to the resort for an after party to remember.
To top their day off, the staff had organised for the patients to watch the world’s finest pyrotechnic experts battle it out to be crowned the winner. .
By the time the coach arrived back in Essex, it was 6:00pm. Dave had loved the change of scenery away from his work. He had text Susan when he was half way home from Blackpool just to let her know he would be home in time for dinner. By the time he arrived home, Susan had cleaned the entire house, from top to bottom, done all the washing, been shopping, and was cooking dinner.
Creamy courgette lasagne was one of their favourites ″Right, I need 9 dried lasagne sheets, a tablespoon or is that a teaspoon″ she thought to herself ″Sunflower oil, a finely chopped onion, 700g of courgette, shit″ she thought, ″I’ve forgot the fuckin courgette″. She decided to prepare the rest, ″ 2 crushed garlic, 250g tub ricotta, 50g cheddar and 350g jar tomato sauce for pasta″ she read aloud from the cook book.
She headed for the front door, grabbed her coat and jumped in the car.
