“Good evening, your majesty” Harriet greet with her head bow and she flash me a smile and Ryder nod his head in response.

“You’re on your way back to the palace Right?” I asked and she nod her head with a smile. Ryder said she didn’t poison the drink, could it be that she has truly changed and she’s trying to gain my forgiveness? I don’t believe her though, but hearing that she didn’t poison my drink is surprising. I thought she poisoned the drink that was why I didn’t drink it.

“Yeah, I thought you aren’t going again, let go back to the house then, I will go back with you, mum want us to eat dinner together, are you okay with that? I will just go if you aren’t okay with it” she replied still smiling.

“Let go back inside” I said and Ryder rushed to hold my hand. He is just so funny.

“Honey you don’t have time get angry, I am sorry I caused all this” I heard that voice

“It wasn’t your fault, Harriet just choose to be unfortunate” she replied and I look into Harriet eyes. Harriet gave me the look that says she doesn’t know what they’re talking about. I am very sure Harriet insult mother again. She can never change.

“Are you sure you didn’t do anything to mother?” I asked with a frown.

“Don’t mind mother, Old age is dealing with her” Harriet said and we both walked inside. Mother sprang up immediately and rushed to me.

“Welcome my daughter” she said forcing s smile.

“You don’t look happy, what happened to you?” I asked with a frown.

“It’s nothing, I have an argument with someone some minutes ago” mother said. Could that be Harriet? I wonder what she did to mother this time around?

“No one is capable of making you sad, so smile for me” I said and mother left out a smile.

“Good evening, mother” Ryder greet and mum quickly bow her head in a polite manner.

“Yeah, I personally cooked the food for you snd your sister, it has been long you guys eat my food” he said.

“No wonder the food taste like poison” I replied and drop the spoon.

“Bur the food is delicious” Ryder said and I glare at him.

“I am very sorry, I never knew you won’t like the food, I prepared three different dishes for you and your sister, should I serve you another food?” He asked and I scoffed.

“I don’t need any poison for you” I said and mum breathe out. She placed her hand on my neck and flash me a smile.

“I understand what you’re trying to do, but you need to forgive your father, he is truly sorry and he regret doing that to you” Mum said and I frown my face.

“Don’t tell me you have forgiven him already?” I asked Mum.

“Yeah, I don’t have a choice, he look pitiful, he has realized his mistake” Mum said and Ryder clear his throat.

“My queen, please you have to forgive him, he is truly sorry” Ryder said.

“Was that the reason why you wanna come here with my by force, you wanna come here to beg me to forgive him right?” I asked Ryder.

“Yeah, you’re partially hurting yourself if you didn’t forgive him, forgive him do your mind can be at peace” he said.

“I am very sorry, my daughter, I truly regret what I did to you, please forgive me” father said and burst into tears.

“Fake tears, I am very sure she is not gonna forgive you” Harriet said.
