“My queen, I hope nothing happen to you, I am very sorry for not being there to protect you, this is one of my nightmare, not able to protect my mate when she needs me most, where’s that bàstàrd of a maid,” alpha Ryder roar and two guards rushed inside the room.

“Your majesty,” the guards bow there head.

“Did you know the maid that went out with my today?” Alpha Ryder asked and they look into each other face. Alpha Ryder growl angrily and move towards one of them. He lifted him up with his collar and throw him across the room.

“When I asked a question, I need the answer fast, fûvking answer my question, did you all know the maid?” Alpha Ryder yelled and one of the guards fell on his knees.

“It’s Reina and Dora, your majesty” one of the guards replied and alpha Ryder burst into a wicked smile.

“Why did their names sound sour to my ear? I know she must have run away, but I need you all to search everywhere for her, I need you all to bring her alive, how dare she try to hurt my Luna! She and are family are gonna pay for it, I will spare any of them for trying this with my queen” alpha Ryder said.

“Yes, alpha,” the guards replied and bow their heads before rushing out.

Alpha Ryder walked out of the room angrily and dash inside old Nana room.

“Your majesty,” Old Nana quickly bow her head.

“You employ, Reina right?” Alpha Ryder asked.

“Yes, your majesty, I do, hope no problem?” Old Nana asked.

“Why will I asked you this question if there’s no problem? How can you employ someone like her! Didn’t you examine her before employing her to the palace? Can you see what your recklessness caused? My queen is in pain just because of your incompetent, court lady Mia!” Alpha Ryder yelled and Old Nana go down on her knees immediately.

“I am sorry, your majesty, I deserve death, Reina was one of the slaves we recruit I didn’t know she has an agenda in the palace, do anything you wish to do with me, your majesty” Old Nana said.

“Just pray to the moon goddess for my mate to recover quickly recover,” alpha Ryder said and walked out of the room.

“Oh my goodness! I can’t believe Reina hurt, her highness” the maid that overhead alpha Ryder and Old Nana discussion said.

“I shouldn’t have allow her to go with her, knowing fully well they didn’t like each other, I only want them to settle their dispute I don’t know she has another plan, Goodness how’s Hazel doing now? I don’t even have the courage to go check on her, I caused this, o deserve death” Old Nana said and Liza rushed to Old Nana room

“Old Nana I overheard the maids talking about, Hazel what happened to her? Hope what I heard isn’t true?” Liza asked with tears.

“Rumours spreed faster than word, how did you know?” Old Nana asked with a frown.

“One of the maids came to tell us, the the maid apartment, now I know why I didn’t meet prince Balnulf in the room when I came back from the toilet, could it be he went there? Gosh! Hope it’s not what I am thinking” Liza said and break down.

“What are you thinking?” Old Nana asked.

“Hope Hazel isn’t dèàd as the maid said, I can’t take it, I will rather kill myself, I am ûsèlèss to Hazel this wouldn’t have happened if I didn’t neglect her for my mate, I caused all this things” Liza said and fall on the floor.

“It wasn’t your fault, it was my fault for telling Reina to go with her, but his Majesty didn’t tell me she’s Dead, Hazel can’t dîè, he only said she’s hurt” Old Nana replied.and Liza breath out.

“Old Nana, how could you tell Reina to go with her, you know we don’t like each other, I have never like that bîtch, I know she’s up to no good, but I have never imagine het do a thing like this, I need to go check on Hazel” Lisa said.

“I don’t think, his Majesty will let you in, he is very angry and be can vent his anger on anyone he see” old Nana said.

“If I get hold of, Reina I will make sure I kill get with my bare hand, how dare she hurt my friend! How dare her!” Liza said angrily.

Alpha Ryder walked back to his room and sat beside Hazel on the bed. He hold her hand and tears drop from his eyes.

“Am I crying?” Alpha Ryder asked and clean his tears with his palm. His eyes landed on the paper on Hazel hand and he gently remove it from her hand. He opened the paper and read the content in it out loud.

“Take care of my father, till I come back for you” he read out loud.

“Who’s her father? What’s her mission in this palace? She won’t even come back until I catch and kill her with my own hand.” Alpha Ryder said, the door throw open and the two guards rushed inside with the pack doctor.

“Good, day your majesty” he greet with his head bow.

“Leave greeting and quickly attend to my queen, fast” alpha Ryder said. The pack doctor nod his head before dropping his equipment on the floor.

“You’re too slow, did you want me to behead you?” Alpha Ryder yelled.

“I am sorry, your majesty” the pack doctor replied shaking.

“Your majesty, I think you will go out for now, you won’t allow the doctor to do his work if you stay here, you need to go wait for him outside” Beta Khalid said and alpha Ryder growl…

“How can you advise me to leave my queen here? What type of advice is that?” Alpha Ryder yelled.

“The best advice your majesty, if you want her highness to recover you need to go out, the doctor can’t even do his work, he is busy shaking because of your presence” Astrid added.

“Do I look scary? Why will be be shaking?” Alpha Ryder said.

“You need to give him chance to treat, her Highness” Beta Khalid said.

“When did you get here?” Alpha Ryder asked.

“As soon as I heard the news, your majesty” beta Khalid replied and alpha Ryder walked out of the room not without slamming the door hard.

“I need who to vent my anger on” alpha Ryder said.

And his eyes landed on Landon.

“Good, what if I train you how to be a better guard?” Alpha Ryder said and Landon move back in fright.

“Meet me in the training ground” alpha Ryder said and walked away.

“Landon, I thought you went out with, Hazel why did you leave her? Why didn’t you follow her to around?” Liza yelled.

“Liza, his Majesty is waiting for me in the ground, he must not get there before me” Landon said and rushed after alpha Ryder.

“Your majesty” he called.

“I can see you are ready to show me you are strong, just pray I didn’t defeat you this time?” He smirked, as he teleported to Landon front. Landon know he’s not gonna leave here alive, so there’s no need for him to show his weak side. He stood gallantly waiting for alpha Ryder next move. Alpha Ryder moved closer to him and left out a smirk, while holding th sword to his throat, he is going to pierce it into his throat if care is not taken, because he is already burning in anger. The picture of Hazel laying lifelessly on the bed is driving him cràzy.

“I… Am sorry, your majesty” landon said, and fall on his knees.

“I thought you’re ready for me, what’s the meaning of this? Did you want me too kîll you without trying?” Alpha Ryder growl and Landon stand up immediately.

Standing up on his feet, he gulped down the lump in his throat, and held on to his sword firmly.

“I am ready your majesty” Landon replied shaking, fear is written all over his face already.

Alpha Ryder smirked, as he swayed his sword in the air, before charging towards Landon.

“I am not gonna have mercy on you this time, I am gonna kîll you, Landon” alpha Ryder said…

“I deserve death, your majesty” Landon said, Alpha Ryder held his sword firmly, waiting for him to get to him, and as soon as he got to where he was standing, he aimed at his leg, he wasn’t planning to kill him, he was only trying to teach him a lesson. Landon wasn’t fast to dodge it, as he went low on his knees, letting the sword splash through his leg.

“Your majesty” he winced in pain as he managed to maintain his balance, Alpha Ryder turned swiftly to his back, and splash the sword on Landon arm, alpha Ryder wasn’t the one in control now, he made Amoux took over him and Amoux is blinded with rage already.

Landon winced in pain, as droplets of b***d dropped from his arm.

Alpha Ryder raised his sword up again and aim towards Landon head.
