His Eagle Eyes on Me
Chapter 3045

After touching the fabric, Hayden picked out a rainbow-colored shawl and placed it on Shelly's shoulder.

Shelly was instantly stunned.

"It looks great on you," he said. "Look in the mirror. Let's buy it if you like it."

"This may look nice, but I don't think it suits Aunty Avery..." Shelly liked the shawl but felt that the one with the deeper color would suit Avery better. "You can keep this one, and we can get the one you first saw for my mom," he said before ordering the owner to bring over the other shawl. Both shawls were made from the same fabric. The only variance was the slight shift in colors and patterns. They were priced the same. Hayden went to pay and the staff member wrapped the shawls before handing them to Shelly respectfully.

Shelly felt too guilty to keep shopping if Hayden was going to pay for everything, so she said, "Why don't we head back to the hotel?"

"Let's go have something to drink!" Hayden did not feel like going back to the hotel. Although he had never been on a date with a woman, he knew how to spend money.

He took Shelly to an open-air café for a cup of coffee, and then they walked along the lakeside for a while.

They saw a boat available for rides, so they decided to take it out for a spin.

Time flew by quickly, until the vice president called Hayden, informing him that the game was over and that they were preparing to head to the campsite.

On their way back to the hotel, Hayden noticed a woman on the street, happily enjoying an ice cream cone, so he asked Shelly if she wanted one. Shelly usually did not like cold treats but found herself nodding involuntarily.

When they reached the hotel to meet everyone else, Shelly still had not finished her ice cream, and everyone smiled as they looked at the two of them.

Once they got on the bus, Shelly gradually started to calm down. "Let me help you set up the tent later! I've done it before."

"Sure." Hayden readily agreed. "Do you even like ice cream? If you don't, you don't have to force yourself to eat it. I'm not that scary."

Hayden had noticed that Shelly was eating her ice cream very slowly; if someone liked ice cream, they would not take such a long time to finish it.

"I'm not forcing myself. I wanted to have it. My mom used to forbid me from eating ice cream, saying it was not good for my teeth, so I rarely had it. But actually, I quite like ice cream," Shelly explained.

"Your mom was right."

"But it's okay to have it occasionally," Shelly smiled lightly. "Sometimes, we don't have to live precisely by the rules. When we first met, I wasn't comfortable spending your money, and always felt guilty. But today, I'm not feeling as uncomfortable. As long as we don't overindulge, everything will be alright."

Shelly's words amused Hayden, and he chuckled.

An hour later, they arrived at the campsite.

Shelly reminded Hayden about his injured finger and told him to stand aside and not do anything, so Hayden watched as Shelly set up the tent. Once she was done, she laid

out the bedding.

"If you're tired, you can go inside and sit for a while. I'll go set up my tent," Shelly said, and Eliam approached them.

"Ms. Taylor, I've set up your tent for you." Eliam showed Shelly the tent he had just set up.

"This is the one you set up for me? I thought it was yours." She turned to the tent, thinking that it belonged to Eliam as it was set up right next to Hayden's.

"Haha, please take good care of my boss," Eliam whispered. "I'll go prepare the barbecue. Once it's done, I'll bring it over to you."
