Xavier's POV

"Amelia?" I heard my mum's voice. Amelia turned around looking at her confused. My mum cameand engulfed her into a hug. She started tearing up.

"Oh dear goddess, how on heaven is this possible?" she asked herself. Amelia hugged her back inconfusion. My mother pulled away still in shock.

"Oh dear, how are you and what happened. I thought,-" I paused before she could continue. "She ishere now mum. That's what matters now."

"But how?" she asked confused. "I will explain, once her parents are here.” I said as she nodded herhead. "She is your mum?" Amelia asked surprise.

"Yes, little one.” I said smiling. My mum looked confused. "She is so, young." she said astonished. Ijust chuckled. "She don't remember any of us mum.”

I answered my mum's unasked question. My mum's eyes went wide when she heard this. "Well, itsKaren dear. I am Xavier's mum." my said once recovering from her shock.

Amelia smile wide. "Both of you look so much alike.” she said giggling. The both us chuckled. She isjust too cute.

"Princess?" I heard her father's voice. We turn to look at him, when we saw her father, mother,Nathan and Angela. The three of them looked at her with wide eyes.

"I didn't believe at first but, now I-I" he stuttered. "Its real dad. She is alive. She is alive mum." hesaid to the both of them.

Her mother quickly came and hugged her. She started sobbing, hugging her. In natural instinct,Amelia hugged her back.

"Anything for you little one.” I said smiling back. I let her take some rest as I went to my room to getfreshened up. All the while thinking about my mate.

I messed up the first time. I wont mess up my second chance. I will treat her right. I will shower herwith every ounce of love that I have to offer.

I will go down to my knees for my Queen. After showering, I changed and went to check on Amelia.She had showered and put on her grey pajamas. I smiled on how much she love grey.

I sat next to her and kissed her forehead before covering her with the duvet and walking back to myroom and decided to take a sleep.

"Xavier don't do this.

"Please"

"You are not a monster. I love you."

"Xavier."

"Xavier!"

"XAVIER!"

I jolt wake up from my nightmare. I was breathing hard. My nightmare was still haunting me."Xavier, are you Ok?" I heard my little one ask me.

I turn to see her, she was still here. Alive. I quickly pull her into a hug. Assuring myself that this isreal and the nightmares are over.

"You are here. Alive." I whispered to myself. "Its ok. I am here. There's nothing to be afraid off.” shewhispered softly to me to calm me down

And it did. I calmed down within few minutes. "Shh. Its ok." she said calming down. "Whathappened?’ I ask her wondering how she was here.

"I was sleeping when I heard screams from you. So I quickly rushed and wake you up." she saidsoftly. I nodded my head.

She helped me to lie down and put the duvet over me. She smiled softly and was about to go whenI stopped her.

"Can you stay. Please.” I pleaded. I was scared that my nightmares would come again. She hesitatedat first before nodding her head.

She came and sat beside me, holding my hands. She started humming a softly. I smiled at her as Ifelt sleepy and drifted off.

Knowing my mate was here alive. With no nightmares.
