I woke up with the rays of sunlight hitting my face.

” Rise and shine Angel..” I heard Mom’s voice

“Good morning Mom..” I said to her yawning and stretching my arms.

“Get ready and come down for breakfast you’ve been sleeping for too long now..” She kissed my forehead and then left.

I went over to my bathroom getting ready for the day then went downstairs to replace everyone was already gathered having breakfast.

Then I saw her sitting next to Aaron I looked at her direct in the eye then glared while she visibly gulped. That’s it, witch, you should be scared

“Morning family..” I said sitting down on my usual sit which was just across from hers.

“Morning Angel..” Dad said followed by a series of good mornings from everyone else.

I looked at her directly in the eye then picked up a fork using my strength, I bent it While she looked on her face filled with fear.

“Scarlet there is something you should know..” Aaron began.

“Hey, Aaron how are you? good to have you back..” I smiled at him. I was glad he was back but hated the fact that he came with HER

“Good to see you too Scarlet so uh listen, she isn’t Skylar..” he said placing his arm around her shoulder. The tension was heavy in the air everyone could feel it.

“Don’t try to explain Aaron I will be the judge of that..” I said, “And don’t worry I won’t do anything to hurt her but she should know that if she is Sasha and tries to hurt either you or any other person in this family and pack then I won’t be held accountable for my next actions..” I said.

“Welcome to the family uh what’s your name anyway?” I asked grabbing a toast from the plate.

“B-B-Brook Powers..” she stuttered while I smirked

“Great..” I responded the rest of breakfast went by smoothly I occasionally glanced at her and it so happened that she glanced at me to our eyes meeting.

“Can I T–T–talk to you..” Sasha I mean Brook said to me everyone’s eyes darted from her to me.

“Baby I don’t think that’s such a good idea..” Aaron said.

“Don’t worry Aaron..” I assured him, “If she wants to talk let her.”

“Please don’t do anything to her she is my life and I love her..” Aaron said to me I nodded my head giving him a reassuring smile. I led Brook upstairs to my room which was now cleaned up. After she entered I closed the door then got closer to her sniffing her scent.

No dark magic good. Ever since I turned when I was sixteen my goddess abilities have surfaced so I can tell when someone is not who they say they are though I don’t read minds.

“Why do you hate me?” She asked in a whisper. While I went around her assessing her search to see if she was an Intruder.

“Tell me about yourself I mean EVERYTHING don’t leave anything out. I wanna know about your family where you’re from, what you do for a living everything even your favorite color..” I said sitting on my bed while she stood there.

“Okay, my name is Brook Powers I am from London I belonged to a pack called mount Wolf ash pack where I was uh abused..” She said her voice cracking at the end tears threatening to spill.

She told me everything about her life how she was treated lowly by her former pack how she was beaten by the Alpha e.t.c by the time she was done both of us were crying while we sat on the bed her laying her head on my chest.

After our crying and the emotional episode, I could tell she wasn’t faking anything, and most importantly she wasn’t Sasha. I told her about me as well and we ended up becoming best friends in just three hours.

“Uh, Scarlet. Brook are you both okay in there I am worried..” I heard Aaron’s voice while Brook giggled.

“He is always like that worried over nothing..” She said while I laughed.

” I know mates are like that though I have no idea whether mine is even alive or not..” I commented

“Don’t worry he will come back to you..” she reassured.

“Brook please say something before I break down this door..” Aaron’s voice came even more urgent making us laugh even more.

“Coming, Ronnie..” I said

“Ronnie?” Brook laughed.

“Yeah, it’s the nickname I gave him by the way you also need one I guess I will just calm you…. bloom..” I said getting up from the bed.

“Bloom? what does that mean.?” She asked also getting up.

“You are like a rose that bloomed in Aaron’s life making it better..” I added opening The door to see a worried-looking Aaron

“Thank goodness you are okay I was so worried and why do I smell salt? have you been crying..” he asked looking at her puffy eyes.

“Scarlet what did you do to her?” he glared.

“Please jeez, it’s not like I murdered her she is safe and sounds you can ask her if you want. Anyway by bloom see ya..” I winked making her giggled.

” wait.!” She stopped me, ” thank you..” she mumbled pulling me into a hug.

“For what?” I asked hugging her back.

” For being a friend and a shoulder to cry on. Though you gave me death glares when I walked into the house, I knew deep down that we were meant to be friends—“

“No not friends..” I said breaking the hug, ” but sisters..” she smiled sweetly at me while I did the same.

“See ya around Bloom and have fun you too I can’t wait to have a niece..” I laughed while Bloom blushed and Aaron just smirked pulling her by the waist holding her close

“What happened between you two?” I heard Aaron’s voice as I went down the stairs. I went over to Mom, aunt, and BeBe who were working on lunch.

“Hey need some help?” I offered.

” Yeah, I wanna know everything that happened between you and Brook and why your eyes are puffy..” BeBe said pulling me to her.

“I won’t tell you BeBe because that is something that Bloom has to share with you but all I can say is she is a really nice girl..”

“Bloom?” BeBe asked.

“Really?” mom and aunt Melissa asked at the same time, “You don’t hate her.?”

” yes I have nicknamed her as Bloom and no I don’t she isn’t Sasha..” I said cutting the carrots. They nodded their heads then continued what they were doing.

After we were done we sat down ate whilst laughing and chatting Bloom seemed to be more relaxed now Aaron too.
