“What was she doing with him?” I asked, “And how did you end up at a hotel?” Lucas didn’t say anything he looked nervous…

“Don’t lie to us Lucas tell the truth..” Dad said sternly.

” Okay fine..” he said, “I went there with a girl..” He whispered the last part but we heard it anyway.

“You what?” Dad growled at him.

“Well I am a guy and I have needs plus I am unmated anyway after I came out of the hotel room with my ‘date’ I saw Angel in the same hallway and that’s when the guy showed up and I accompany her. The man had no intention of touching her I could tell because as soon as we walked in, he started telling her about what he found out and that Zara was in London..”

“Zara?” Dad mumbled.

“Yeah she has been worried about this war and so she wanted to replace her just in case she became pregnant and didn’t want to fight..”

“So you have nothing to do with her?” I question.

“No bro nothing. I would never touch what’s yours unless your car and other things of course but not a mate..” I sighed I was truly being a fool.

“Yeah about time you realized..” Juan sneered.

“Well look who’s talking?” I mumbled while he just blocked me off.

“You need to fix things with her and start trusting each other..” Dad said and I sighed.

“yeah you are right Dad but I think it’s too late..”

“Too late? So what? You will just give up and let your baby grow up without a father.?” He question while I looked at him confused.

“You really are stupid..” he mumbled, “seriously you’ve been staying in the same room and you haven’t noticed a change or the fact that there is a heartbeat..”

“I was a little carried away I guess didn’t notice..” I said sheepishly but then widened my eyes.

“I am going to be a Dad?” I asked

“Oh great, he has now realized it..” Lucas said.

“I am going to be a Dad!!” I said again as the information sunk in. Dang, it， I can’t believe I was going to reject her especially now that she is pregnant! I need to make it up to her I need to apologize hell I need her in my life.

“Come on you need to fix things..” Dad said dragging me upstairs. Once we were in her room My eyes never left her all I wanted at this point was to k**s her and just tell her how much I love and don’t wanna lose her!

We both stood there neither of us making a move I was so needy I wanted him and judging by the way his eyes kept changing color he wanted me to. But was I ready?

Was I ready to just forget about the fact that he almost rejected me?

Was I ready to forgive him and fix our broken relationship? And most importantly was I ready to let him be a part of our baby’s life?

He took two steps closer to me now his breath fanning my face as his eyes kept on darting from my lips to my eyes.

My body was aching for him and I was fighting to keep control but it was a losing fight as I found myself closing the distance between us and kissing him hungrily he didn’t waste a second as he kissed me back the same way. He placed his hand behind my thighs lifting me while mine was busy tugging his hair.

I felt him softly lay me on the bed his hands ripping down my shirt but he suddenly stopped getting off of me both breathing heavily.

I wanted to cry as I saw him quickly walk towards the door. He probably didn’t want me.

I sat up my eyes downcast fighting the urge to cry but when I heard the click of the door locking my eyes shot up as in only seconds he was on me finishing off ripping my clothes.

He made love to me all the while whispering how much he loved me and didn’t want to lose me. How he wanted to spend his entire life with me and how he wanted to be a part of our baby’s life.

After that magical moment and he pulled away I found myself sleep catching up to me.

“I am sorry I love you!” I heard him whisper as I got pulled into the dreamland.

I woke up feeling blissful this is the most beautiful sleep I have had in a long time.

I fluttered open my eyes only to replace myself alone in bed. I sighed sitting up as the door opened to reveal Zane coming in with a tray of food.

“Glad to see you awake. I was actually coming to wake you up..” He said and I smiled as he placed the tray of food on the table sitting beside me.

“You look really beautiful..” He said making me laugh.

“Really that’s so cheesy

Who looks beautiful when they just wake up?”

” You…” He said a smile on his face making me blush.

“Anyway–” He took the tray of food then placed it on his lap.

” I talked with Dad..” He began, grabbing a fork full of pasta bringing it closer to my mouth feeding me. I looked into his eyes. They held so much love and regret, “He made me realize that I love you and you are too important to let go..” he grabbed another fork full feeding me.

” You and our baby are important and I want you to always be a part of my life and I just want to say I am sorry I accused you of cheating on me. Sorry I almost rejected you! I’m sorry I didn’t listen to you please forgive me..” He said his eyes holding the truth. I placed my hand on his.

” I am sorry I lied to you too…” I said

” I should have trusted you I am sorry..”

“No, I should have given you a reason to trust me. I have lied to you so many times and I am really sorry..” I said tears spilling out again.

“Hey don’t cry..” he placed the tray on the table, pulling me into a hug.

“I lied to you as well and I am sorry to let’s start over yeah.?”

He pulled away handing me the ring.

“No secrets and no lying..” he said and I nodded my head.

“No secrets no lying..” I repeated.

“I love you..” he said pulling me into a hug as I sniffed hugging him back

” I love you too..”

“Come on eat up now Both you and the baby needs to be healthy..” I smiled placing my hand on the nonexistent baby bump.

“Yeah..” the thought of becoming a Mom was absolutely amazing.

” Thank you for giving me a chance and thank you for the pup..” He said grinning at me.

But my face faltered, If I am pregnant then how will I fight and I have no idea where Zara is.

” what’s wrong?.” Zane asked.

” I am just worried. Now that I am pregnant I won’t be able to fight and I don’t know where your sister is and the war—“

“Shhh..” he stopped me by placing his finger on my lips.

“Do you trust me..” He asked I nodded my head.

“Then trust that I will bring my sister here. I have been looking for her aswel and I know where she is..”

“Really? and you never told me?” I asked.

“That was before when we were keeping things from each other you also never told me you were looking for her..”

“That makes sense..” I mumbled

“no wonder you were so adamant about us having a baby because you knew where Zara was..” He smiled nodding his head.

” I can’t believe we are going to be parents..” I said looking at my flat stomach lovingly.

“Yes, cupcake. We are going to be parents..” He placed his hand there and I placed mine on top of his enjoying the warmth.

“Now eat your food..”

“No.” I shook my head getting on his lap then kissing him whilst my hands trailed over his chest trying to replace the buttons.

“Baby..” he stopped me, “Not now you have to eat first..”

“No, I don’t want to..” I said kissing him again pushing him so that his back was on the bed and I was on top of him I started kissing his neck while trailing my hand on his chest.

“Baby stop..” He said breathlessly. But I didn’t stop until he flipped us over so that he was now laying on top of me.

“I want you to please..” I said pulling him closer.

“Baby you have to eat first it won’t be good for the baby if you don’t eat..” He said out of breath I could tell he wanted me to.

“Fine..” I mumbled pushing him away then laying on the bed covering myself with the comforter from head to toe.

“Baby..” he said removing the comforter

“Go away..” I said burying my face in the pillow.

“Don’t be like this sweetheart, my love, my cupcake..” he pushed my hair on one side then kissed my neck.

“I promise I will give you what you want but you need to eat first you need to have some energy..” He said moving me so that I was facing him, “Eat first then I am all yours okay.?” He nuzzled his nose on my mark making me m**n.

“Okay..” I said. He picked up the tray of food feeding me.
