“Okay baby in the meantime I will prepare dinner for you..” I said she gave me one last hug then went upstairs.

“We have our daughter back Kaden..” I said hugging him while a few tears fell.

“Yes our princess is here..” he said pulling me closer. The front door opening broke us from our little bubble.

“Aunt why are you crying..?” I heard Brea’s voice. I looked over to see her standing there with a confused expression.

“Oh my gosh where is Angel..?” she said throwing away her purse and coming closer, “Did something happen to her is it the baby? Aunt tells me why are you crying and where is Angel..?”

“Brea..” I said chuckling, ” Angel is fine she is resting In her room and these are happy tears..”

“Phew..” she let out a sigh of relief.

“Who are they?” she asked pointing at Zara’s mate and the kids probably hers.

“That’s Zara’s mate and her kids..”

“Ohh..” she said enthusiastically, “Hi I’m Breana nice to meet you..” she grinned at Zara’s mate stretching her hand.

” Francisco nice to meet you too Breana..” he smiled shaking her hand.

“Aww I love kids what’s your name prince..” she asked a little boy that looked like a mini version of Francisco.

“I am Nicholas..” the boy shyly said.

“Nice to meet you Nico and you what’s your name.?” She asked the little girl who looked to be maybe three years of age.

“Cindy..” the little girl said and I smiled.

“Wow nice name and oh you must be Charlene I have heard so much about you..” she said to Charlene

“Come on let me show you all the toys your Mommy used to play with..” she said taking the kids away lightening up the atmosphere.

“BeBe..” we heard Aaron jnr’s voice as he lifted his hands wanting Breana

“Hey, Ronnie you wanna play too come on..” Breana said lifting him and going to the playroom.

After mom left—

“Zane..” I went closer to him wrapping my arms around him.

“I am sorry..” I murmured

“It wasn’t your fault love I should be the one saying sorry for the way she acted towards you she was being rude and— why are you sweating?” he asked placing his hand on my forehead well I didn’t want to tell him just what I told Zara he would be angry.

“Scarlet..” he said sternly he only ever uses my name when I am in trouble

“I am just tired don’t worry..”

“Tired of you are sweating like this just by walking a few stairs then there is something wrong I need to take you to the doctor..” he said getting up.

“I am fine Zane..” I chuckled at his protectiveness.

“Cupcake you are important to me and all I want is to make sure you are okay please tell me if you feel any pain..” I sighed.

“I don’t feel pain my love just tired..” I said placing my hands around his neck burying my face there.

“I was talking to Zara..” he stiffened pushing me away.

“What did you guys talk about?” He asked

“More like what did I say to her?” I mumble lowly but he heard me anyway.

“Please tell me you didn’t do anything stupid..”

“Well, I may or may not have insulted her..”

“You what!” he yelled.

“Sorry she was just being mean and I got angry then gave her a piece of my mind you know I couldn’t handle someone hurting you plus it was the pregnancy hormones..” yep blame it on an innocent baby typical Scarlet very typical.

He sighed rubbing his forehead

“I am sorry Zane you know I love you..” I pulled him into a k**s so that he can forget all about what I just told him but a throat clearing made us break apart we both looked towards the door to replace Zara awkwardly standing there averting her gaze. I didn’t want to be anywhere near her she was giving me bad vibes.

“I am sorry..” she mumbled while I stood in shock did she just say sorry?

“I will just go..” I said but before I could walk out she stopped me.

“You were right..” she breathed, “I shouldn’t have done what I did. It wasn’t their fault and I sorta said all those things to release the pain and sadness..” she said giving me a sad smile, “I am sorry and thank you for making me realize the truth although your words were a little harsh I am glad you said it at least it knocked some sense into me..”

“No, I should be the one to apologize I said some mean things to you which I shouldn’t have. You are older than me and I should have shown you respect I am really sorry I just got angry after seeing Zane sad. Hope you can forgive me it wasn’t my intention to say it all I’m really sorry..” I said to her my eyes downcast. Even though she was wrong I should have known my place and be a little nicer to her.

“It’s okay I was being a jerk we were all hurting and I couldn’t see it. I only saw my pain. But anyway I’m glad I met you, but I have one question, how did you know what Zoey told me? Because as far as I know only her and I were in the room and what did you mean by she had a choice and she got what she chose..?” She questioned.

“well I uh I don’t know I guess it just popped up in my head??” I said more like asked.

“I don’t believe you I know you know something about what happened to Zoey. What I can’t figure out is how you knew..”

“She is a goddess half goddess..” I heard Zane’s voice. I looked at him as he smiled coming closer and hugging me from behind.

” no wonder she knew. This means she also knows where my sister is right? Please tell me what happened to her and why she chose to live a miserable life..” I looked at Zane who rose a questioning brow at me.

“I know that look. You definitely know something..” He said and I nodded my head.

“I had a dream about her last night. I saw everything and why her mate did it. He thought it was the right way to save her but he was wrong.

Ceros was meant to come long ago but her( Zoey’s) mate stole her powers and helped Mom lock him (Ceros) up.

“That’s why she decided to let it be and follow her mate to kill Ceros but it’s impossible without you two..” I said yawning.

“She did it for us?” Zara questioned. I nodded my head feeling sleepy all of a sudden like someone was forcing me to close my eyes. I lay my head on Zane’s chest struggling to stay awake.

“Baby I think you are tired lay down for a bit.”

“No..” I shook my head, ” I am..” I yawned, “fine..” I said.

Zane didn’t say anything instead he helped me lay in bed and as soon as I lay my head on the pillow my eyes automatically closed.

“Scarlet..” I heard a voice I know too well. I opened my eyes to see Mom my Mom Serene standing next to me with a smile on her face.

“Mom..” I said pulling her into a born crushing hug, “Mom it’s been 4 years I missed you so much..” I sobbed hugging her close.

“It’s the okay baby I am here now don’t cry..” she said pulling away then wiping my tears.

“I missed you so much..” I said as she smiled.

“I missed you too baby and you have grown wow..” she said holding my hand and twirling me.

“And pregnant too..” she grinned while I did too.

“Yeah but there was a problem with the baby he wasn’t growing normally because I was stressed..” I said my face faltering

“Oh don’t worry baby by the time you will be waking up your baby bump will be as it should be..” she smiled at me.

“Wait this is a dream..” I asked

“Yes kinder your body is back home resting while your soul is here..” I nodded my head looking around the place it’s beautiful taking my breath away. We were in a beautiful garden that was filled with all types of flowers and roses. It looked so well taken care of and magnificent.

“Wow..” I whispered, “this place is amazing. Where are we anyway?.” I asked looking at her.

“This is my home it’s beautiful, isn’t it? But I must warn you things here are a little different..”

“What’s wrong mom what happened.?” I asked her getting worried.

“Thank goodness I was so worried about you never scare me like that again..” Zane said. He looked a mess like he hasn’t gotten enough sleep.

“Hey, why do you look like death what happened?” I asked sitting up. I looked down noticing my baby bump was visible too.

“How long have I been sleeping?” I asked him
