"She must have stopped crying because she's tired," Austin refused to admit Anastasia was better than him. After all, he had tried tirelessly to calm the baby down, and she hardly needed to do anything. "Yeah, right!" Anastasia scrunched her nose. Her mood improved after seeing the baby lying peacefully in her arms. The babies' smiles seemed to have made all their recent troubles disappear. "Wow, she knows how to hold a baby better than you," Mike said, "Why'd you mention giving the baby a shot? Don't you know children are scared of getting shots the most?"

Austin mumbled, "I was just saying. The baby wouldn't understand, would she?"

"Don't think they wouldn't. They know if we say nice or bad things about them. When Nicky was little, he would look sad if I scold him." Mike probably could not stop thinking about his son. That was why he kept mentioning Nick.

However, Austin did not stop him because he noticed Mike did not look as sad as before whenever he mentioned Nick. Austin thought it was a good way for Mike to channel his longing.

At that moment, the nanny returned with two feeding bottles. "Here, let me handle them."

She took the baby from Anastasia. "Ladies first, all right?"

"That's so sexist!" Austin exclaimed.

Anastasia chuckled, "She's the younger sister, right?"

Her arms felt slightly sore as she handed the baby to the nanny. Anastasia already felt it after only holding the baby for a while, yet Mike did not seem tired as he cradled the other one. Anastasia could not help but say, "You're so good at this."

"Well, when my son-"

Realizing that he would mention his son again, Austin said, "Don't encourage him, okay? He'll go on forever."

"Hey, he deserves my compliment. At least he's not clumsy like you." After getting to know Austin better, Anastasia dared to make fun of him.

Austin shook his head. "Come on, that's not what you said when I treated you.”

"He treated you?" Mike was curious.

Anastasia nodded. "Yeah, I had a virus or something, and he helped me get rid of it. So he kind of saved my life. Right, my savior?" "Oh, I see." Mike became thoughtful.

"You look better than before, too. It looks like you've recovered well," Austin said as he sized her up.

Anastasia nodded. "I have. Would you like to retake my wrist pulse to see if the virus is still in me?"

"Sure!" Austin answered readily. After a moment, he withdrew his hand. "You're doing well, but... try to eat less grilled meat."

Anastasia stuck her tongue out at him, but she was impressed. As she had lost a lot of weight and Lily once told her she could, she had eaten quite a lot of grilled meat.

The nanny looked surprised as she fed the baby. "Wow, you can tell by feeling her wrist, Mr. Austin?"
