Alexander laughed and refilled Dominic's glass, asking, "Didn't you say she couldn't have become invisible?" "T want to see how she makes a fool of herself, okay?" Dominic spoke bluntly with widened eyes. Alexander laughed.

"Well, I'll let you know when we catch her." After dining and chitchatting, they heard a flurry of footsteps approaching.

Galen excitedly hurried over and asked, "Daddy, is that you?!" A maid was close behind, trying to catch up.

"Daddy!" The boy threw his arms onto Alexander.

"It's really you, Daddy!" "Yes, it's me!" Alexander grew emotional as he held his son and inhaled his scent.

He missed Galen so much that he did not want to let go.

"You little rascal!" Dominic said in a stern voice but did not drop his smile.

"What about my hug?" Galen turned to look at him and pouted.

"You're drinking again!" "What do you care?" Dominic put down his glass.

"Your dad came to pick you up.

Can't I celebrate a little?" Elated, Galen turned to his father.

"Daddy, is that true? Are you bringing me home?" "Yes, lam." Surprised, Alexander nodded and looked at Dominic.

"How did you—" "How did I know you're taking him back?" Dominic snorted.

"Since the twins have returned home, I figured you would want to bring Galen back too." Having expected this, the older man grew sentimental.

"Nowadays, even a family reunion is hard to come by, isn't it?" Alexander looked saddened as well.

Not quite getting it, Galen asked, "Have my brother and sister returned? Has Mommy returned?" "Mommy hasn't come back yet." Alexander held his son's shoulders with both hands and said thoughtfully, "She still has something to do.

She'll come back after that." "will she?" Galen looked so disappointed that the two adults felt sorry for him.

"Yes, I'm sure she will!" Alexander nodded.

"Your mom's a tough one, okay? She'll be fine," Dominic said steadily.

Alexander could not tell if he was trying to make them feel better or truly believed so.

"It's late.

We should get going." Alexander checked his watch.

He knew traveling late was not safe.

Moreover, the others needed him at the house.

"Goodbye then!" Dominic waved.

"Come visit when Lily returns, okay?" "we will." Alexander nodded as he rose, carrying his son.

Galen waved back.

"Bye-bye, Grandpa!" "Bye!" Dominic did not see them off.

Instead, he slowly looked up at the darkening sky and let out a long sigh after the father and son's footsteps faded.
