His Unwanted Wife Again -
Chapter Five
UNEDITED
Past.
One month later.
Nathan and Sabrina were sitting in the back seat of one of their limos on the way home from the airport. They just flew back from Australia where Nathan had some negotiations he needed to do with some of his business associates. He demanded Sabrina go with him for the week he needed to stay there. She was jet-lagged and leaning on Nathan's shoulder almost falling asleep. She wasn't in a good mood, seeing that she started her cycle yesterday. Nathan kept up to his word and barely touched her.
Him, taking sex out of the equation didn't help her at all. All she thought about was the chance that she was losing, and the time that she was losing. She was obsessed.
They pulled into the driveway and the driver opens the door. She couldn't believe her eyes. The whole back yard was dressed up with white and yellow decorations. Yellow and white rose petals sprinkled everywhere, yellow and white balloons in the air. There was a path created up to their gazebo. She squints her eyes trying to get a good look at what was in the gazebo. Her eyes widened. It was an alter. "Surprise!"
She gasps when she looks to her right and sees all of their family and friends. From her mother and sister to even Tony.
"Oh my goodness." Her jaw drops.
"Come let's get you dressed." Clarissa puts a hand on her lower back ushering her into the house.
"Wait!" Nathan grabs her wrist and pulls her back in front of him. "I'll be waiting for you right up there." He points to the altar.
A line formed between her brows. "You did this?"
He nods. "I want to marry you all over again."
She wanted to be happy but she was livid.
"Come let's go get ready." She was pulled by Clarissa and Gracie.
There was a beautiful yet simple, strapless mermaid style white dress, with a diamond rose centered in the middle by a yellow ban. It was waiting for her on the bed. It was unbelievably beautiful, but it did nothing to relieve her angry. She looks down, staring at her wedding dress anger slowly rising in her throat.
"Oh, I forget your veil. I'll be right back Clarissa says leaving Gracie and her alone.
"You don't look happy," Gracie admits as soon as the door closes.
Sabrina just stood there motionless, eyes not leaving her dress.
Gracie grabs her shoulders and turns her around roughly. "What's wrong with you?"
They jump apart when the door opens suddenly and Vivian enters.
"Do you like it? Nathan didn't want any help with designing it. He's been planning this for months now. Are you surprised?" She cheeses excitedly.
Sabrina nods her head as Gracie pushes her to sit in front of the vanity. She pulls her hair out of its ponytail and begins brushing it.
Clarissa enters the room with the vail and places it near Sabrina on the vanity. "What do you think?" She asks
It was simple and elegant with yellow rose diamonds on the tiara.
"It's nice." She admits.
Clarissa smiles. "Where is all of your make up?" She opens the vanity draws and begins reading labels off of her make up products.
Sabrina looks at herself in the mirror. She couldn't believe Nathan would plan a second wedding while she was on her period. She couldn't believe he would plan it without her, and she couldn't believe that he would be so inconsiderate. She was stressed out, and pretty much depressed. She didn't want this second wedding, at least not yet.
Looking into the mirror she could her bed behind and Vivian sitting on it watching excitedly.
"I'm so glad you like it. Nathan would have been so disappointed if you didn't like it. He's trying so hard to make you happy. We all know what a hard time you've been having with trying to get pregnant. It will be good to get your mind off of all of that when you two go on your second honeymoon."
What!! Honeymoon?! She was furious, fuming, in rage, damn right angry.
"It happens when you least expect it. Don't stress about it. It will happen when you stop trying." Clarissa try's to give some friendly advice.
Steam was practically come out of Sabrina's ears. It was officially common knowledge that they were trying to get pregnant. Now everyone knew and they were all pitying her. This was one big pity party, that's what this was. They all just feeling sorry for her, including Nathan.
"Get out!" She suddenly demands.
"What?" Vivian join her eyebrows at her
confusingly.
Gracie and Clarissa stop what they were doing and look at Sabrina confusingly.
"I said, get, out!" She screams getting up and opening the door. "Out! All of you!" She wasn't doing this. Maybe it was the hormones but, there was no way she was walking down the aisle whiles everyone was feeling sorry for her. If they were getting married again she at least wanted to be happy and she just wasn't at this moment.
Clarissa, Gracie, and Vivian walk out of the room without another word, and Sabrina slams the door. She wanted to scream her head off. She didn't care about hurting anyone's feelings at that point. All she knew was that she wasn't going through with this. She didn't care who was upset or angry. Especially Nathan. He wasn't considering her feelings when he planned this without her knowledge or booked a honeymoon while he knew she would be on her cycle.
She was so angry she didn't know what to do with her self. She looks around her room remembering that before they left for Australia she had begun reorganizing their closet to keep her mind busy. She decides to again distract her mind again with the chore.
She looks up at all of her shoes piled high on shelves and begins pulling them down without a care of damaging them. She looks at her purses. All stupid things for stupid functions that Nathan just had to attend. She screams almost like she was growling. Her frustration reaching its peak.
She turns around and looks at all of Nathan's shoes stacked high on the other side. She pulls them all down. Then his suits, jackets, dress shirts, jeans. She pretty much forgot all of her own things an began ripping all of Nathan's things from its place. She told herself she was going to reorganize it, but she knew on some level she was releasing the anger she wanted to release on Nathan on his clothes.
"Just what the hell do you think you're doing?" Nathan storms in looking at the mess she made.
"What does it look like I'm doing?" She hops on her tiptoes and starts pulling his ties from there place.
He grabs her wrist and hauls her closer to him. "Stop." He pulls her and throws her over his shoulder. Then he carries to the bed and drops her on it. "What the hell is the matter with you?" He asks in all seriousness. He was changed out of the black suit be traveled in and changed into a one with a yellow rose in its pocket.
"Nothing." She states simply, watching as he began pacing the room.
"Nothing?. "That isn't nothing...He points at her mess in the closet."
"I'm reorganizing." She kept speaking like everything was ok and nothing was a big deal.
"Why did you kick everyone out of the room? They were just trying to help you."
"I don't want anyone's help, Nathan. I don't want anything but to be alone."
He glares at her and grinds on his teeth. "You're being ungrateful."
"And you're being inconsiderate."
"Inconsiderate? All I'm doing is trying to make you happy, trying to make this marriage whole again. Unfortunately for me, it doesn't look like I'm capable of doing that."
"How in the world can a second wedding and honeymoon during my period help me?"
He runs his fingers through his hair. "I didn't want you focused on getting pregnant. I wanted you to be focused on me. I thought it might have taken the pressure off of you, and we could have just had a good time. I guess I was wrong. Getting pregnant is the only thing you care about, isn't it?"
"Take the pressure off of me?" Her eyes go wide. "You think throwing a pity party is going to help?"
"Pity party?" He was seething. The veins in his neck were showing.
"Yes, pity party. You did this because you feel sorry for me. Poor, Sabrina can't get pregnant. Oh, I know what to do to get her mind off of it, let's get married again."
"I did this because I love you. And yes, I thought it would make you happy."
I don't want this right now. I can't be happy about a second wedding or honeymoon right now. Especially not when everyone is practically singing poor Sabrina in their heads." She grabs her head.
"This isn't about what anyone is thinking about you, Sabrina. This was about me and you recommitting our self to each other. I honestly thought that this would have helped bring you back to me. Maybe make you appreciate what we have together, without children."
"And a honeymoon while I'm on my period? You really think I want to be bloated and cramping while on my honeymoon?"
"I didn't want it to be about getting pregnant." He growls.
"Look, I'm sorry that I'm just not happy right now."
He stares at her softly. "I'm sorry that I can't make you happy."
"You can, just not like this." She points out of the closet window at their waiting guest.
"No Sabrina, I don't think I can." He admits seriously as he takes off his jacket and hangs it up. "If you will excuse me I have 150 guests to send home."
He leaves her alone with her reorganizing. She quickly pushed their argument out of her head and began pulling my clothes off the shelf.
Hours pass before she looks back out the window. Everyone had left. Only the remnants of the decorations were left.
Nathan did not come to bed that night and she didn't go looking for him. It was the first night he slept away from her for a long time. She was still upset with him. While she was repacking she decided that she wanted to go visit her mother. Maybe it would be the best thing if they have gotten some space from one another.
She wanted to clear her head and replace herself again. She knew that she was stressing out and was probably too emotional but she was so angry.
The next day when Nathan came home he didn't come to their room. Sabrina brought him his dinner to his office.
"I'm not hungry." He barks.
She walks in and sets his tray on his desk like she didn't hear a word he said.
He was standing with both palms on the desk glaring at her. Obviously, he was still angry with her. She was still upset as well, and her stubbornness was winning all these days.
"I'm going to go back with my mom for a little bit."
Nathan shakes his head and crosses his arms. "Why doesn't that surprise me? Do what you need to do. Maybe it's what's best."
Silently she nods her head. She was almost surprised by his response. Almost...
