Chapter 334 Something Happened to Su Ziyue

"What? You're saying that you lend your house to that girl?"

Chen Hao explained to Su Mengmeng about Yang Xia.

However, in regards to Yang Xia being pregnant, Chen Hao wasn't sure about that.

Then again, it wasn't that hard to imagine since Yang Xia had bad intentions in the first place. He would deal with this matter next time.

Now, Chen Hao just wanted to resolve the misunderstanding between him and Su Tongxin.

"Okay, okay. Since you look like you're not lying, I'll try my best to talk to her. You'd better not be lying though. Do you know that Tongxin hates liars the most?"

Through the simple exchange, Su Mengmeng also found out that Chen Hao wasn't heartless like other rich guys.

Plus, he gave off an easy-going vibe.

If he really did not do it, of course Su Mengmeng was willing to help him.

Thus, Chen Hao continued waiting downstairs while Su Mengmeng headed back upstairs.

However, she rushed out again in no time.

"Sigh, Chen Hao, I don't think I can help you. Tongxin wouldn't budge and she doesn't want to see you either. You've really hurt her badly this time. Maybe you should just go..." Su Mengmeng explained the situation and went back in.

Sigh!

Chen Hao felt absolutely awful.

He had yearned for Su Tongxin to be back. However, when she was finally back, this happened.

At this moment, Chen Hao's phone suddenly rang.

It was a phone call from Su Ziyue.

"Ziyue, what is it?"

Chen Hao smiled warmly. He had always treated Su Ziyue as if she was his own sister.

"Young Master Chen, I'm not Ziyue. I'm Wei Lin, her colleague. We met last time!"

The girl in the phone call said. Her tone sounded anxious, like something had happened.

"I remember you. What is it?" Chen Hao hurried to ask.

"It's Ziyue! Something happened to Ziyue! She has been admitted to the hospital!" Wei Lin spilled.

"What?!"

Chen Hao was stunned.

He glanced toward Su Tongxin's room upstairs. Initially, he wanted to shout to let Su Tongxin know that he was leaving. However, he didn't want to bother her.

After all, she was still pissed off with him. He would get back to her after settling Ziyue's situation.

Chen Hao stayed on the phone with Wei Lin on the way out.

"What happened exactly? Can you explain more?"

Wei Lin explained, "She was still fine at noon. But during the afternoon class, she suddenly complained that she wasn't feeling well. Initially, I thought she had the flu and gave her some warm water. However, I did not expect that she'd faint! So, I took her to the hospital. She's awake now, but she's still in a weak condition."

"How could this happen?"

Chen Hao was very worried.

He immediately hailed a cab and rushed to the hospital after getting the details from Wei Lin.

"Mengmeng, what did that loser say?"

A few girls asked when they saw Mengmeng coming up.

"He didn't say much. But, from the looks of it, he will wait until Tongxin is willing to see him!"

"Huh? Could he be that devoted? I don't believe it!" Wu Wenwen taunted and laughed coldly.

She walked over to the windows to open the curtains and took a look downstairs.

However, she ended up seeing Chen Hao leaving in a cab.

"Hmph! I've said so didn't I? I knew he couldn't do it. How long has it only been? He already left in a cab. Tongxin, look!" Wu Wenwen pointed outside and said. Su Tongxin glanced outside the window.

When she saw that Chen Hao really left, she clawed at her bedsheets in exasperation.

Indeed, she was really pissed off and didn't want to hear his explanations.

But, how could Su Tongxin not want Chen Hao's explanations for real?

Even if he didn't want to explain, he could have waited downstairs longer to show that he was still loyal toward her.

But now?

In an instant, Su Tongxin felt incredibly heartbroken.

At this moment, Chen Hao had already arrived at the hospital.

He was met with a weak Su Ziyue who looked as pale as a sheet in the hospital ward.

Fortunately, Su Ziyue was already awake.

"How are you feeling?" Chen Hao went over to her bed and greeted her.

"I don't know what happened. Suddenly I felt as though my blood was draining away. Then, I slowly lost consciousness..." Su Ziyue murmured softly. "What did the doctors say?"

"They are worried. A few of the doctors are still discussing. They couldn't pinpoint the exact cause of her sickness. Hence, they are hesitant to proceed with any treatments," Wei Lin answered instead. Su Ziyue's eye rims turned red. After all, she was afraid.

Although she had always been strong, in a situation like this however, being terrified was an understatement.

"I get it now!"

Chen Hao nodded and looked at Su Ziyue with pity.

He went out immediately and gave Tian Long and Di Hu a call, asking for them to bring the professional medical team from the base camp.

Naturally, Tian Long and Di Hu would not delay carrying out his orders.

In no time, the professional medical team arrived.

Each and every one of them was reputable.

Hence, the hospital extended their full support.

After around two hours for the examination, the team went over to Chen Hao. All of them looked dejected at that moment.

"Young Master Chen, Miss Su's symptoms are extremely rare. Well, at least I have never come across them. Although we have tried both western and traditional chinese approaches, we can't seem to replace the cause of her sickness!"

They shook their heads.

"What? Even you guys can't do anything about it?"

Chen Hao was disappointed from what he heard.

"I'm so sorry, young master. However, you could try dispatching the medical team under your family. After all, their skills are even finer than ours!" the head of the chinese medical practitioners said apologetically.

"Alright, I understand! You guys may take your leave now!"

Chen Hao nodded.

He had always been best friends with Ziyue. Although he still hasn't made sure of his connection with her, he had already treated her as if she was his own sister.

Therefore, Chen Hao couldn't ignore her when she needed help.

"Wei Lin, could you please take care of Ziyue for me? I will look for more ways to help her!" Chen Hao requested.

"Okay, Young Master Chen!"

Then, Chen Hao decided to look for Li Zhenguo and the others back at the hotel.

He wanted Li Zhenguo to look for more reputable doctors working under his family.

He needed to call his dad to inform him about it as well.

However, he was met with someone squatting in front of his hotel room.

The man was hugging a gunny sack with what looked like blankets inside.

This man was none other than Qin Yifan.

"Hey grandson, where are you going? I thought we will be leaving today?"

Qin Yifan chuckled happily when he saw Chen Hao and walked over with his gunny sack.

Chen Hao gave him a look. He really went and stole the hotel's blanket.

"Mr. Qin, I don't have the time to send you home today. I still have a lot to deal with. How about this? If you really want to go, I will send someone over to drive you back to Chengdu," Chen Hao said impatiently. Chen Hao was really running out of ideas.

If anything really happened to Su Ziyue, replaceing that woman himself wouldn't feel right.

"No way! You promised to send me back yourself!"

Mr. Qin shook his head.

"Fine, then wait for a few more days. Something happened to my best friend so I'm not in the mood to leave just yet!" Chen Hao explained.

As he was preparing to leave, slap!

Mr. Qin locked Chen Hao's shoulder with his hand.
