Director Hou saw that many people were chiming in at that moment. Despite his admiration for Su Tongxin, he had to be fair under such circumstances. "Xiaoyun, come and tell Director Hou what happened!"

Yang Huali dragged Li Xiaoyun, who was keeping quiet, over to Director Hou.

Su Mengmeng and the rest of them walked over.

"Haha, of course I am not satisfied. I know how everyone else would perceive me, they might even think that I set you up and framed you. However, nothing else matters now. The opportunity is mine and you have already lost! But I'm still not convinced!"

Yang Huali's eyes were filled with jealousy.

After saying that, Su Tongxin turned around and left.

Yang Huali violently dragged Su Tongxin back.

She snorted and a loud slap followed right after.

"Let me tell you something, I have always wanted to teach you a lesson! But since everyone glorified you, I had no choice but to hold myself back. However, there is no need for that anymore! From now onward, everyone has to bow down to me! Including you!"

Yang Huali finished talking and raised her hand to slap Su Tongxin again.

"Stop right there! Yang Huali, what are you trying to do?"

Just then, a few girls ran over.

They were Li Xiaoyun and also Su Tongxin's dormitory mates.

Li Xiaoyun was the one that shouted.

When Yang Huali brought her friends in earlier, Su Tongxin's group of friends felt that something was amiss.

Li Xiaoyun said, "Who are you to slap Tongxin?"

Yang Huali shouted, "So what if I slapped her? So what? Now that I am the leader, I replace her unpleasant so I punished her!"

After that, she pointed at Su Tongxin and said, "In the future, keep your head down and lay low!"

She then brought her friends with her and left.

Su Mengmeng asked in a concerning voice, "Tongxin, are you okay?"

"I am fine!"

Su Mengmeng viciously said, "F*ck! This Yang Huali is too much! The assistant position should have been yours, yet now she actually arranged for you to be a receptionist at the front entrance. She is too cruel. I cannot stand it anymore! Let's go and beat her up!"

Su Tongxin agitatedly said, "No! Don't offend her just because of me. Otherwise, it would be hard for you all to gain a firm footing in this company. We have no choice as she is the person with authority around here!"

Su Tongxin resigned herself to her fate of being a receptionist.

She really did not want to drag Su Mengmeng and the rest of them into this.

Just then, Ma Nan walked over and whispered to Su Tongxin.

When they reached the entrance, the central square was already packed. Many of the big shots had already arrived and went inside.

To be honest, as a receptionist, their only job was to stand outside.

It was vastly different from Yang Huali's role whereby she could mingle around with the bunch of big shots.

Ma Nan cried as she looked at Su Tongxin's cheek that was red after being slapped.
