I Am Unstoppable
Chapter 321

Chapter 321

A spiritual wave attack was a mysterious attack.

The stress that ordinary people felt in their daily lives was a form of mental attack, too. An examplewould be the pressure ordinary people would feel upon interacting with their superiors.

However, the pressure from superiors was not something that could be clearly defined. It wasn'tconcrete. The superiors themselves would neither feel nor comprehend it. In fact, if the superiors werefearful of their wives, then their power to pressure others would be non-existent in the face of theirwives.

However, upon reaching Level One in Divine Master, a spiritual wave attack would turn physical.

It was something that had been manifested into the physical plane like spirit, vitality, and strength. Itwas something manipulatable.

Between Level One and Level Three in Divine Master, the mana formed by spiritual waves would beweak. It could only be used to attack weaker cultivators, and it had a limit on how far the attack couldbe launched. For example, Yareth and Sylvia's battle was a fight between spiritual energy.

Once a person reached Level Five in Divine Master, they would be able to use their mana to controlmagic weapons and kill their enemies from a thousand meters away.

When they reached Level Eight in Divine Master, they would be able to use their spiritual mana to killothers remotely.

Therefore, Mabel's current mana sword was definitely something that could be used to harm the Great

Sun Lama.

A shudder wracked the Great Sun Lama's body, and he quickly made a mana shield in his mind. It wasan instinctive move to defend himself.

At the same time, the cacodemon let out a loud roar before breaking out of the Great Sun Lama'spurgatory.

The cacodemon then opened its eyes before roaring again and stomping its foot.

Following one loud noise, the cacodemon finally destroyed the Divine Whip.

It shattered into pieces and flew in different directions. However, the cacodemon swiftly shot out itsclaws to grab the remnants of the Divine Whip. Then, it shoved the broken whip into its mouth andbegan chewing it.

After munching on it for a while, it completely devoured the Divine Whip.

The cacodemon's power became even more refined after that.

That was the amazing ability that cacodemons possessed. They could devour anything includingmagical weapons and devil infants and convert them into the nutrition their bodies needed.

Colors drained out of the Great Sun Lama's face. He had lost his Divine Whip, and it was difficult forhim to control the cacodemon from then on.

Without hesitance, the cacodemon darted forward to swipe its claw at the Great Sun Lama. The Great

Sun Lama swiftly avoided it.

The cacodemon was mighty, and as a result, the surrounding plants were torn down by its attack. Eventhough the Great Sun Lama managed to avoid the attack, the cacodemon proceeded to grab two treesand swung them around him.

Nothing within ten meters of the cacodemon could avoid being hit by the trees.

Despite the Great Sun Lama's impressive agility, he had a hard time dodging that.

Dirt and dust filled the air as strong gusts of wind blew.

The Divine Master and Immortal Stage cultivators who had lost their magical weapons were evidentlyreplaceing the situation challenging to deal with. There was no way they could defend themselves againsta being like the cacodemon, which had an invincible physical body.

Just as the Great Sun Lama was on the verge of defeat, Ryan and Richie's gazes landed on Jonathan.

Ryan then said to Ephraim, “Reverend Nightingale, these two people seem close to the cacodemon. We can use them as hostages! Perhaps that will work as a threat to the cacodemon!”

Ephraim froze for a second, hesitating. Then, a cold glint flashed past his eyes, and he said, “All right. We'll do that. What do we have to lose?” With that said, he began launching spiritual wave attacks atJonathan.

Upon hearing those people speak, Jonathan sensed impending disaster.

Before Ephraim could even finish speaking, Jonathan turned tail and fled.

He knew well that the cacodemon would be able to revitalize itself once it killed the Great Sun Lama.By then, Ephraim and the others would be no match for it.

Jonathan couldn't even care less about Mabel at that point. After all, Mabel was not just a nobody, andhe was certain that they would not dare to kill her.

Jonathan ran as quickly as he could, dodging everything in his way, but soon, he sensed a pang ofagonizing pain in his mind.

In the next second, his mind went blank, and he passed out.

As it turned out, while Jonathan was quick, he was not as quick as Ephraim's spiritual wave attack.

No matter how hard Jonathan tried to avoid it, the spiritual wave attack still struck his mind accuratelyand precisely.

Jonathan was only in Celestial Soul, and his mind was fragile. That attack was not something he couldwithstand, so he went unconscious immediately.

Nevertheless, Ephraim had not dealt a fatal strike. If he had, he would have rendered Jonathan brain-dead.

Ephraim still needed Jonathan to threaten the cacodemon, so he would never kill Jonathan.

If Jonathan died, they would all be doomed as well.

That was something Ephraim knew well.

Both Ryan and Richie took Jonathan and Mabel hostage and placed guns against their temples.

As Mabel's mind had been injured, she, too, was unable to move and was subjected to her enemy'smercy.

Once Ephraim saw that Jonathan and Mabel had been restrained, he quickly shouted at thecacodemon in Chanaean, “You monster! If you don't stop now, we'll shoot these two!”

The mad cacodemon shuddered and promptly paused in its tracks when it heard Ephraim's words.

Then, it saw the current state Jonathan and Mabel was in.

A murderous look crossed its eyes, and it prepared to launch another attack.

Ephraim, Ryan, and Richie were frightened, and Ephraim hastily bellowed, “Stop! If you take anotherstep closer to us, we'll kill them immediately!”

The cacodemon halted and screeched, “Let go of my daddy! Get lost right away, or else I'll kill you all!”

Ephraim and the rest could sense the intense demonic energy and fury coming from the cacodemon.

The cacodemon was indeed living up to its name as a demon.

“No!” Ephraim shouted. “We can let them go, but you have to return to your original form first.Otherwise, you'll be attending their funerals!”

The cacodemon fell silent. As it stared at Ephraim, it asked, “Will you let my daddy and Aunt Mabel goif I return to my original form?”

Ephraim replied, “That's right.”

At that, the cacodemon said, “Okay. I believe you.” With that, it suddenly inhaled sharply.

Then, the cacodemon's body began undergoing changes.

It turned from a gigantic monstrous being into a child who looked around eight years of age.

However, the cacodemon child's body was covered with terrifying white scales.

Its eyes were blue and bright, making it look as if it was a foreign boy who had contracted a strangeillness.

At that moment, the cacodemon was no longer as ferocious and frightening as it was in its monstrousform.

“Let my daddy and Aunt Mabel go!” the cacodemon shouted.

“All right,” Ephraim answered.

Right as he said that, he was done communicating with the Great Sun Lama.

The Great Sun Lama was the one who instructed Ephraim to convince the cacodemon to return to itsoriginal form. Ephraim was a Divine Master cultivator, and the Great Sun Lama was an Immortal Stagecultivator. Hence, the two of them could hold a mental conversation to share their ideas.

Right then, the Great Sun Lama made a move.

Stretching out his hand, a ray of light darted out from his sleeve.

The ray of light impaled the cacodemon's back and buried itself into its heart.

The cacodemon's eyes widened, and it screeched in agony as its knees buckled.

Then, it curled itself up on the ground.

Mabel's eyes widened in shock. Her heart ached as she watched the cacodemon suffer, and she wasenraged. “How can prominent figures like you be such despicable people?”

Ryan scoffed and said, “Chief Sandler, how are you shameless enough to ask us that? We should bethe ones asking what motives you and this young man have. The cacodemon is the demon of Thymion, and it will bring endless disasters if it manifests in this world. Yet, you're protecting it. Are you trying tocreate conflict between our two countries?”

Mabel was rendered speechless.

Thus, she ignored Ryan and turned to the Great Sun Lama. “What have you done to the cacodemon?”

The Great Sun Lama then mumbled a mantra under his breath, “Let the sun ignite and grant me thelight.”

Once the Great Sun Lama said that, he turned to Mabel to say, “This is the Nailhead Script that mysenior has given to me. It's also known as the Death Nail. The Death Nail guarantees the death of aperson's life as long as it enters the person's heart.”

The Great Sun Lama had wanted to perform the Death Nail attack on the cacodemon previously, butcould not replace the chance to do it. He had to trick the cacodemon into returning to its original formbefore launching a sneak attack on it while it had its guard down.

Mabel's heart sank when she heard the Great Sun Lama's explanation. “What are you going to do tothe cacodemon?”

The cacodemon was still screaming in pain on the ground as they spoke.

The Death Nail was no ordinary item. There was poison, as well as powerful mana contained within it.

If it wasn't that powerful, there was no way the Death Nail would be able to subdue the cacodemon.

The Death Nail was supposed to render a person dead, but the cacodemon was powerful enough toremain alive despite having the Death Nail lodged in its heart.

Now, the cacodemon was covered in sweat as all colors drained from its face. It was sufferingindescribable torture with every passing second.

Mabel's heart was breaking.

Although she was trying to recover from her injuries earlier, she was still conscious of her surroundingsand was well aware that the cacodemon would have been unstoppable if it wasn't concerned about herand Jonathan. No one present could have been able to harm it.

With a solemn look, the Great Sun Lama said, “The cacodemon is a being that brings harm. If we let itstay alive, it'll bring disaster to our country. Therefore, it must die.”

He then turned to the Roper brothers and said, “The cacodemon has lost its ability to defend itself.Decapitate it.”

“Of course, Lama,” the Roper brothers answered without a hint of hesitance.

The two of them then walked over to the cacodemon, which was still curled up and defenseless.

Dread was twisting in Mabel's guts. When her eyes flicked to the side to look at Jonathan, she realizedhe was still unconscious. Relying on Jonathan was not an option.

Is this really the cacodemon's fate? If that's the case, why did the cacodemon survive? Why must it diesoon after it's been brought to this world? What even is the purpose of its life? Does it only exist to helpJonathan out so that Jonathan could save me?

Mabel turned back to Jonathan and whispered under her breath, “Jonathan, wake up soon and think ofa way around this. You'll be plagued by guilt for the rest of your life if you replace out that the cacodemondied to save you.”
