I Am Unstoppable
Chapter 466 Devouring The Elements

Chapter 466 Devouring The Elements

Instantly, Jonathan knew that it would be no easy task to cultivate the mind sphere. The absolute bestmasters in magic, especially those who were able to activate forbidden spells, had terrifying amounts ofspiritual energy in their mind spheres.

In theory, the concept of the mind sphere's spiritual energy was fairly simple.

It was similar to an engine, and the strength of it depended on the type of engine it was. In order toactivate a forbidden spell, it took at the very least, the combined horsepower of ten aircraft carriers. Itwas a terrifying and enormous amount.

Meanwhile, Jonathan's mind sphere's horsepower was akin to that of a Ferrari's.

Compared to typical Magicians, a Ferrari was already amazing enough. An average Magician couldonly be likened to a regular car in the two hundred thousand price range. In contrast, the amount ofhorsepower Jonathan had could kill them in mere seconds.

However, in the face of an oncoming truck, even a Ferrari would be turned into a smear on the road.

Comprehension dawned on Jonathan.

The magic technique did not matter. However, I would fall short if I dwelled on it too much. As with hisinternal-style martial arts, Jonathan had never relied on it to exert dominance.

His own power was so strong that a single punch from him could easily subdue tens of people. If hisstrength was not sufficient, any kind of powerful skill would only be a waste.

As such, his current goal should be to cultivate his mind sphere. But how strong should the mindsphere be? Back in the main world, Lance and the others enhanced and strengthened their mana bydischarging their brain cells. While there are billions of brain cells, what about the mind sphere? Whatdid the mind sphere require to evolve? And that is a crucial question!

Jonathan was in a bind because magic was a completely foreign thing to him. Moreover, he had neverreceived tutelage from anyone. Everything he knew stemmed from his own research and efforts.

At that moment, all was quiet at Feather Palace. While Torrence and Yeverie were fast asleep,Jonathan continued to mull over the situation as he sat cross-legged.

There was an order to things. Hence, there must be a reason for it.

Having built a strong foundation as he cultivated internal-style martial arts, Jonathan was confident thathe would be able to replace a method to get what he needed.

The foundation he built was his greatest asset. It enabled him to gain insight into astronomy, geography, finance, the universe, and all sorts of mysterious approaches.

Magic should be no exception.

Jonathan first began to organize the dragon clan's magic in his cerebral domain.

Dragons were naturally born with an inner essence ball, and it served to absorb elemental energy.

According to the dragon clan's records, they had a powerful method of obtaining the inner essence ball.

All of a sudden, Jonathan's eyes lit up.

Although he had been studying various dragon magic techniques, he hadn't bothered paying attentionto the basic foundation of it.

According to dragon magic, it did not matter which type of element the elemental energy within theinner essence ball was. For example, the water elements, which were made up of countless waterdroplets, were akin to the cells in a human's body. It was limitless.

This meant these elements were no different from the limitless cells in the cerebral domain.

Now, the question is, how do I cultivate the elements?

The first method would be via devouring.

Firstly, one should disperse the elements within the inner essence ball and allow them to circulatethroughout one's body, establishing a connection with one's flesh and blood. Only then would a truecore element be formed. The entire process would be extremely painful. The elements were water, fire, light, and wood. When these elements melded with one's flesh, it would bring about a painfulmetamorphosis.

Only the dragons were capable of using the devouring method to achieve their goal of cultivatingelemental energy. This was possible because a dragon's body was sturdy and tenacious. However, itwas impossible for a human to use the same method. At the end of the day, a Magician's body was nodifferent from an ordinary human's.

If they allowed elemental energy to rampage in their bodies, they would likely die.

The dragon clan's magic records also contained information about mind sphere cultivation methods forhumans. Most of them relied on primordial gems to meditate, absorbing pure elemental energy fromthe magic gem.

It was just like how things worked in the main world. Everyone relied on taking elixir pills to strengthenand evolve their cells.

Everything was well documented, and although the methods were slightly different, they strived toarchive the same results.

Unfortunately, Jonathan did not have a large number of crystals on hand. In fact, the few he held hadbeen used by Moose. Naturally, Jonathan knew that they would not be of use to him.

Besides, the primordial gems were like elixir pills in the main world. They were a rare commodity thatJonathan currently had no way of obtaining, despite the fact that primordial gems in Moranta wereslightly easier to obtain than the elixir pills back in the main world.

Elixir pills in the main world needed to be synthesized, but the primordial gems in Moranta could bemined.

They were almost as precious as diamonds back in the main world.

However, the Magicians had a monopoly on the primordial gems. Thus, an outsider would not be ableto purchase it even if they wanted to. The demand for the gems far exceeded their availability.

Therefore, Jonathan had no choice but to use the devouring method. He would have to use new

elements as nourishment for the purpose of strengthening the core elements.

As his body had always been unparalleled in strength, he was pretty confident. His combat forceskyrocketed after he consumed the dragon essence ball of the Holy Dragon, strengthening his physicalbody as a result.

Jonathan's physical body was definitely not weaker than a dragon's.

The elements in the body needed to absorb blood essence in order to increase its compatibility with thebody. It also served to increase the amount of blood essence in the elements. This ensured that theelements would become far stronger than the outer elements.

It was also based on this theory that the core elements would have the ability to devour the outerelements.

Otherwise, if they were both on the same level, it would not be possible for the core elements toachieve that feat.

It was truly an exquisite method.

As expected, the wisdom of higher beings was limitless. Jonathan could only imagine the trials andtribulations the predecessors must have undergone in order to successfully create such a method.

Following that, Jonathan calmed his mind and began compelling the elemental energy in his mindsphere to disperse.

Completely under the control of his cerebral domain, the sphere of light gradually dispersed into

various elements. Finally, the elements obeyed Jonathan's command and flowed to different parts ofthe body.

As Jonathan closed his eyes, he could feel the slightest changes in his body.

He saw the elements rushing toward his body like a river.

The fire, water, light, wood, earth, and dark elements were coursing chaotically in his body. Jonathanfelt as if he had forced all sorts of random things into his body. His body throbbed in agony, accompanied by a piercing sensation that seemed to prick at his nerves. Before long, an intense, bone-crushing pain engulfed him.

In that instant, Jonathan's body was completely drenched in cold sweat.

Torrence and Yeverie immediately woke up and realized that something was not right with Jonathan.

Meanwhile, Jonathan's eyes remained tightly shut.

Hurrying over, Yeverie demanded anxiously, “Mr. Lawson, what's the matter with you? Don't scare melike that!”

In a deep voice, Torrence said, “Yeverie, he's currently in the midst of cultivating. Let's just stay calmand observe for now.”

Yeverie was aware that when a person had reached a critical point in their progress, they were not tobe disturbed by outsiders. Otherwise, the individual may spiral out of control or even face fatalconsequences.

Thus, although Yeverie was worried about Jonathan, she got her emotions under control and did notinterrupt him.

Each step of advancement was a painful new cycle.

Was Jonathan truly lucky?

The hardships he had to endure along this journey were beyond what others could imagine, and hisbody had undergone countless inhumane torture and agony.

The elements in Jonathan's body were all over the place, and the pain he suffered was far greater thanthat of a dragon. It was a good thing Jonathan's willpower did not waver. In the end, after beingirrigated by Jonathan's blood essence, the infinite elements quieted down and became much calmer, resembling a tamed wild beast.

Soon, the elements increased to one trillion, and each one of them was smaller than a microorganism.

A hundred million water elements were no larger than a single fingernail.

Jonathan could clearly feel the emotional connection he had with the elements. They were simplethings that moved according to Jonathan's willpower, and it was as if they had become one with him, connected with his flesh and blood.

Following that, he made all the elements return to their positions.

Soon, a colorful mind sphere formed in Jonathan's cerebral domain, and his body returned to its normalstate.

He let out a long sigh of relief.

Yeverie and Torrence were overjoyed when they saw that Jonathan was fine. Yeverie exclaimed, “Mr.Lawson, you scared me earlier!”

Grabbing onto Yeverie's hand, Jonathan smiled slightly. “Silly girl, don't worry. Nothing bad will happento me.”

Curious, Torrence inquired, “What was that just now?”

Jonathan answered truthfully, “It was the method used to cultivate a dragon's inner essence ball. Itallows the elements in the inner essence ball to move within the body freely, thereby allowing them tobe irrigated by blood essence. They will then transform into strong core elements which will devour theexternal elements.”

Amazed, Torrence said, “Such an extraordinary approach actually exists? No wonder the dragons didnot have to rely on primordial gems to grow so strong.”

Jonathan said, “Although it is a fantastic method, not everyone can do it. Had my body not been sostrong, I would have exploded and died as the elements entered my body.”

Slightly taken aback, Torrence added, “That's true. The greatest weakness of Magicians in Moranta is

their physical bodies. There are not many who are trained in both magic and physical arts. Even if sucha person exists, it's more likely that they are only talented in one aspect, while the other is for show.”

Jonathan chuckled. “Then, I shall be an exception to the rule.”

He felt somewhat complacent as he had already found a method to cultivate.

It was getting late, and Jonathan had had a tiring day. The elemental energy meditation had taken ahuge toll on his energy. “Everything else can wait until tomorrow. I'll be going to sleep now,” he said.

“All right,” replied Torrence before he also went back to sleep.

Mischievously, Jonathan slipped under Yeverie's covers before she could tuck herself back in. Yeverieblushed in response before lying back down.

She had been worried that Jonathan would be up to no good. After all, she would feel embarrassedsince Torrence was around.

Evidently, she had been overthinking because Jonathan showed no signs of doing anything. He soonfell fast asleep and even began snoring lightly.

I guess he's really tired.
