Chapter 190: A Scumbag

Chapter 190: A Scumbag

"Enjoy it, but be careful of the broken glasses," Yanis said to Bonnie, turned to take the trash can and cleared the glasses on the ground.

Bonnie handed the photo to Yanis, "Hide it."

"What?"

"Hide it. You can show your son what his father looked like someday. What happens between you and the scumbag is between the two of you. Your son has the right to know what his father looked like." Listening to Bonnie's words, Yanis could not help but laugh, "Why are you always calling him 'that scumbag'?"

"Because he IS a scumbag!"

Yanis laughed and did not answer. She took the photo, "He asked me for it back the other day but I forgot. There's no point in keeping it now."

With this, Yanis looked at Bonnie, "I thought you would ask me to tear it to pieces."

Bonnie pouted, "Am I such a bad guy in your eyes?"

Yanis shook her head, "No."

"Of course. Keep it. No matter what a scumbag he is, you need something to remember him by. Even though it might just be bad memories, life's filled with them."

It was the first time Yanis had heard her say such philosophical words, it amused her.

"What are you laughing at? Either you take it back or I tear it apart!"

Under her "threat", Yanis put the photo in the interlayer of her suitcase.

It was a hidden memory.

The flight was two in the afternoon.

The two didn't set out until it was noon. It was security check when they arrived at the airport.

Bonnie called Old Cooke before she got on the plane, "Grandpa, Yanis and I are going to M Country and will spend about a week there."

Travis said a few words to them before he hung up.

It was seven in the evening when they arrived.

Darin came to pick them up.

"Mr. Walsh, nice to see you again."

Yanis said hello when she saw him.

Darin nodded, "Nice to see you too, Miss Thompson. You are more beautiful than before."

Then Darin looked at Bonnie, "So is Miss Cooke."

"Should I say that you have become even more handsome than before, Mr. Walshe?"

They smiled and chatted for a short while before they left the airport.

In the car, Darin looked at Yanis and Bonnie, "You have booked a hotel?"

Yanis nodded, "Bonnie is going to a show, so we decided to stay together."

Darin looked over at Bonnie, "Are you going to the show with Miss Vivian's works?"

Bonnie nodded, "Will you be there, Mr. Walsh?"

Darin answered, "I will if I am free then. Miss Vivian has sent me an invitation."

Speaking of this, Darin looked at Yanis, "Ivan will be here soon on business. We can all hang out together then."

"Ivan's coming?"

Darin nodded, "Didn't he tell you?"

"No, I thought he has gone to Burumal."

Darin said, "Ivan has almost finished his business there, and he will leave the following matters to the person in charge over there. He will be here."

As they were talking, the car stopped at the hotel.

Darin got off to help them with their suitcase, "You aren't going to dinner?"

Bonnie took the suitcase, "No. We are a bit tired from the flight. I will treat you to lunch tomorrow, how about that?"

Darin smiled, "I'd love that."

Darin helped Yanis and Bonnie check in and carried their suitcase to their room before leaving.

After Darin left, Bonnie lay down in bed, "My idol's such a gentleman."

Yanis was also a little tired and lay down beside Bonnie, "What? You have a crush on him?"

"No. I mean, he's nothing like Myles, that jerk."

Bonnie swallowed her last word, "Forget it, I don't want to mention him now."

Yanis didn't say anything.

After a while, Yanis said, "Bonnie, do you think Zane might fight with me for the kid's custody if I had the baby?"

When she heard Yanis, Bonnie turned to look at Yanis, "Right! Why haven't I thought of that?"

Yanis turned over to face Bonnie, "If he wants to fight for the custody with me, I won't be able to win."

Speaking of this, Yanis paused for a few seconds, "And if Lucia and the rest of his family knew, I will surely lose my baby."

Bonnie was silent for a few seconds, "Maybe we should hire a help?"

"What do you mean?"

"Hire a man to pretend to be the baby's father!"

Yanis was speechless.

"Forget it. It was just a dumb idea."

Bonnie lay back, "Let's just see what happens."

Yanis had been sleepy recently and she fell asleep again during the conversation.

Bonnie had wanted to ask if she wanted to eat anything when she found her asleep.

Bonnie got up and covered the quilt over Yanis. She helped her take off her shoes before she went to the bathroom, took a shower and walked through work with her assistant on the phone. The next morning, when Bonnie woke up, Yanis was not in the room.

"Yanis?"

Bonnie Shouted twice, but got no response. She was sober in an instant. She quickly lifted the quilt, got out of the bed, took her phone to call Yanis. The phone was answered quickly, and Yanis's voice came, "You are up?" "Where are you?"

"At the restaurant, Ivan's here. Come right now."

Hearing that she was with Ivan, Bonnie was relieved. "He got here pretty quickly. Did he fly here overnight?"

"He just got here, come."

Bonnie answered, "Coming."

Downstairs in the restaurant.

Yanis took a sip of milk, looking at the tired Ivan, "Is the matter here very urgent?"

Ivan said, "Yes, I have to be here. So I rushed over."

While speaking, Ivan nudged the sandwich to Yanis, "I haven't seen you for only two days and you look thinner. Didn't Bonnie take care of you?"

"No, I don't have much appetite recently and I don't eat much."

"You're eating for two now, remember that."

Yanis nodded, "You should have breakfast now. Go to your room and have some rest after that."

Ivan shook his head, "It's okay. I've gotten used to this."
