Chapter 232: Leave Manches City and Never Come Back.

"Is Myles back?"

Bonnie hummed, then changed the subject. "How are you? Are you still feeling uncomfortable?"

Yanis shook her head. "Dr. Watson prescribed me medicine to relieve morning sickness. I will be fine."

"Didn't you say that Anika would stay with you?"

Yanis leaned against the head of the bed. "She was sent back to D-king Castle by Zane, and then he is here."

After hearing Yanis's words, Bonnie looked at her in shock. "Is Zane staying with you? Does he know that you are pregnant?"

"No, I'm in the bedroom, and he's on the sofa in the living room outside."

Bonnie didn't know what to say for a moment. "What does he mean?"

"I have no idea."

"Ayan, do you think he regretted it? I heard that Neve seldom went to see him recently. They won't have broken up, will they?"

Yanis didn't respond extraneously to Bonnie's words. "That has nothing to do with me, I just want to do what I need to do now. I have to give birth to the child safely, and I don't want to know about other things." "What the hell is Zane trying to do? Now that you are divorced, he's still pestering you with shamelessness!"

Yanis actually wanted to know what Zane planned to do.

Their relationship was over, but now he appeared in front of her from time to time.

"Be careful, I'll go check that bastard Myles first!"

Yanis hummed.

After hanging up the call, Yanis hesitated for a while, then got out of bed and opened the door to take a look.

The sofa was not too big, and Zane was 6 feet tall. It was somewhat difficult for him to lie comfortably on it.

Yanis stood at the door for a long while, then turned back and took a blanket out. She stepped forward, covered Zane, turned around, and went to the study without stopping.

The thoughts that were interrupted by Zane before were now slowly connected again.

Putting those troublesome things behind her, Yanis picked up the brush and started to paint.

The night passed quickly, and almost half of the structure had been scratched.

It could roughly show something.

After moving her sore neck, Yanis got up and left the study.

When Yanis went out, Zane was no longer in the living room.

Yanis paused, glanced around the living room, and finally looked towards the kitchen when she heard the movement.

The tall man stood in front of the stove, stirring something in the pot with a spoon.

Yanis stood there and stared at him for a long while, then she took back her gaze and went into the bathroom.

When she came out to brush her teeth, Zane just came out of the kitchen.

The two looked at each other, and it was Zane who spoke first. "I cooked porridge, and it will be ready in a while." Yanis hummed. "You... Don't you need to go to the company?"

"I wait for Albi to come over."

Yanis nodded, walked to the sofa, and sat down without saying anything to Zane.

Zane watched the porridge cooked, and put it in front of Yanis. "Eat some porridge. It is good for your stomach."

Yanis looked at the porridge in front of her and said thank you.

The doorbell also rang at this time, and Zane turned around to open the door.

Albi stood at the door and handed the bag in his hand to Zane. "Mr. Lawrence, here are your clothes."

Zane took it. "Wait for me in the car."

Albi nodded.

Zane turned around and came in with the bag. He looked at Yanis who was eating porridge at the dining table. "Can I use your bathroom?"

When Yanis heard this, she looked up at him. "If I say no, it will be a bit too inappropriate."

"It's ok."

"Then forget about it."

Zane hummed and stepped forward to take the mobile phone from the coffee table. "Then I'll go back to D-king Castle to take a shower, and then go to the company. After you finish eating, go to rest, and I'll come back later to clean up."

Yanis, "... Zane."

Hearing the sound, Zane stopped and looked at Yanis. "What's wrong?"

Yanis pointed in the direction of the bathroom. "Go and wash."

When Zane heard her words, a smile rose from the corner of his lips. "Eat while it's still hot."

Then Zane turned around and went into the bathroom.

When Yanis heard the sound of water in the bathroom, she looked away and looked down at the porridge in the bowl.

It was obviously an ordinary bowl of porridge, but it disturbed her mood.

After Zane took a shower, he went straight out the door. Before he left, he said that he would send food over at noon. Yanis didn't refuse, because she planned to stay at home all day and finish the painting that Magnus wanted.

So, after Zane left, Yanis took a nap and planned to paint in the afternoon.

Just after she fell asleep for a short while, she was woken up by the phone ringing.

Yanis reached out and answered the phone without looking at the caller ID. "Hello?"

"Miss. Thompson, you are really good at writing."

When Yanis heard the voice from the mobile phone, half of her drowsiness fell away. She opened her eyes and sat up. "What does Miss. Bennett mean?"

"It seems that you never listened to what I told you, did you?" Neve's tone on the phone was somewhat questioning.

Yanis frowned, lifted the quilt, and got out of bed. "Miss. Bennett can speak directly if you have something to say. There's no need to talk around and waste each other's time."

"Were you with Zane last night?"

When Yanis heard this sentence, she was silent for a few seconds, but she didn't deny it. "Does Miss Bennett call to ask me about this? Are you accusing me of something? Why not use some means to keep him with you? Because he is the last person I want to see now!"

Speaking of this, Yanis paused. "So, Miss. Bennett, please take care of your man. Don't let him disturb my life!"

After listening to Yanis's words, Neve chuckled softly. "I've already sent your brother back. As for what happens next, it all depends on what Miss. Thompson does."

"What do you want me to do?"

"Leave Manches City and never come back."

Yanis held the phone tightly. "You know, with Zane's power, even if I would leave, he could still replace me."

"I'll help you."

"Why should I trust you?"

"Miss. Thompson, besides me, who else can you count on? Bonnie? Mr. Baxter? Or Mr. Duncan?"

Yanis actually admired Neve quite a bit. She mentioned all the possibilities around her at one time.

"Miss. Thompson, the matter between Bonnie and Myles hasn't been settled yet. Do you want her to put aside her relationship because of you? Doesn't Miss. Thompson feel selfish in doing so?"

Speaking of this, Neve paused. "And Mr. Baxter, he is now under his parents' watch because of you. Do you want to see him turn against his family for you?"

"As for Mr. Duncan, although no one minds his business and he has the right to make his own decisions, are you really planning to take his love for granted?"

Yanis listened to what Neve said, and laughed slightly. "Miss. Bennett knew the people around me very well, but I don't really understand why Miss. Bennett cared about me so much? Is it because you think that Zane will fall in love with me?"

"Then you are really thinking wrong. I have tried my best to make him fall in love with me for five years. It is impossible for him to fall in love with me after we are already divorced!"
