Chapter 272 The Last Chance Of Leaving
Chapter 272 The Last Chance of Leaving
Sameer's car was an old Santana.
"Get in the car.
Sameer urged Yanis.
Yanis responded, said goodbye to the children, and then got into the car.
Then Sameer closed the car door and said to the three children, "Go to your uncle's house with your brothers. Come back after dinner."
Mitch replied, "Remember to pick up Mom."
"Okay."
Sameer didn't say anything more. He turned around and got into the car, then started the car and drove off quickly.
Without snow, the road was much better.
Sameer didn't drive very fast, but it was still bumpy.
Yanis sat as close to the seat as possible and subconsciously placed her hands on her abdomen.
When the car got on a slightly flat road, Yanis said cautiously, "Sameer, are we going to look for Marnon?"
Sameer glanced at Yanis from the rearview mirror, "I'll take you to Viteto."
When Yanis heard this, she was obviously taken aback, "Are you... sending me to Viteto? But....."
"If you don't leave here today, you never will."
Before Yanis could finish speaking, Sameer interrupted her loudly.
Yanis didn't know why Sameer suddenly changed his mind to help her.
But compared to herself, she was more worried about Marnon.
Marnon treated her well these days.
She couldn't forget this favor.
So even after hearing what Sameer said, Yanis still wanted to know if Marnon was okay.
"Are we passing through town?" Asked Yanis.
Sameer glanced at the road ahead, and replied, "We can't. We'll take another path."
"Let's check Marnon first."
Sameer glanced at Yanis in the rearview mirror, but he didn't speak again.
He didn't say whether they would go to town or not.
The car wobbled down the mountain.
Yanis asked twice, and Sameer didn't speak again.
Yanis looked out of the car with concern. This road obviously did not lead to the town, because Yanis didn't have the slightest impression of this road.
Just as Yanis was about to speak again, Sameer's cell phone rang.
It was not smartphone and the sound was very loud.
It sounded like a horn.
Sameer answered the call, "Hello?"
"Sameer, you don't care about your wife and children anymore, do you?"
The voice was full of sullen anger.
Even from a distance, Yanis heard it.
It was obviously Nealon.
Hearing Nealon's words, Sameer slowed down the car a bit, "Nealon, we can't murder for money. You told me all I had to do was keep her at my house. If you send her to Allan, she will be dead."
On the other side of the phone, Nealon laughed, "Sameer, it's none of your business. Now I'll have someone else watch her. Send her back and I'll forgive you. If you don't, I will send all three of your daughters to Allan. He had been fond of your fourth daughter for a long time."
Hearing Nealon's words, Sameer stepped on the brakes, "Nealon, you... you can't do this!"
"I'll give you an hour to bring her back, or I'll make the decision for you tonight and marry Mia to Allan!"
After talking, Nealon hung up the phone directly.
Sameer yelled at the phone several times, but there was no response.
Yanis looked at Sameer, "Let's go back."
Sameer hesitated. If he didn't bring her back, his daughter would marry Allan in place of Yanis.
After thinking it over, Sameer made his choice.
He drove back to the mountain.
Yanis felt very calm.
Probably that was her fate.
She was destined to stay and die in the mountain.
Yanis had not yet recovered from the cold, and when she returned to the village again, her face was deadly pale.
Sameer just parked his car in the open space in front of his house.
An old van came up from the other side and stopped beside Santana.
Marnon was roughly pushed out of the car by a man.
She was thrown to the ground.
Sameer helped her up. "How are you?"
Marnon shook her head at Sameer, "Fine."
Sameer protected Marnon behind him, and looked at Nealon who got out of the van, "She's in the car. Take her away."
They couldn't do anything even if they wanted to help. They couldn't sacrifice their daughter to save Yanis, a stranger.
Nealon came over and looked at Sameer, "What can you get from this? Just take the money and do your job well. Why do you have to be a good person? Do you think it's easy to be good people?" Sameer didn't reply his questions but said, "Nealon, you've paid me and I did as you asked. I won't take the rest of the money and I am going to stay out of this. What do you think?"
Sameer didn't want to have anything to do with this matter.
He didn't want to care about Nealon or Yanis anymore.
Nealon laughed, "Sameer, it's not that simple. Since you have been part of it, you can't stay out of it."
Sameer's expression changed. "What do you mean?"
Nealon said, "This means it's too late to quit now."
Afterthose words, he looked at the two men standing beside the car. "Get her down."
The two men responded, turned around and opened Santana's car door, then dragged Yanis off the back seat.
Yanis had been feeling sick. Being tugged so abruptly, she fell off the car.
Marnon's heart tightened when she saw it.
She was about to stand out but was stopped by Sameer. "Stay there!"
Marnon paused and glanced at Sameer.
Sameer shook his head at Marnon.
They'd better do nothing right now to make Nealon angrier.
