Chapter 346 Must It Be Yanis?
Chapter 346 Must It Be Yanis?
When Evan heard this, he wanted to curse.
"Just sit there." After Evan finished speaking, he slammed the car door and walked toward Haider.
"How is it, feeling unsatisfied?" Haider looked at Nancy and asked.
Nancy had always thought that Haider was easygoing.
Now she learned that Haider was like that only when people didn't violate his bottom line.
Once people did that, Haider could be stern, or to put it a little harsher, a ruthless person.
Once people violated his bottom line, he wouldn't give them any chance to repent.
Nancy knew a little bit about Neve.
She was kind of involved too.
So in the case of Neve, Nancy actually acted as cover for Neve.
If Nancy could stop Neve from doing those things, things might not have ended this way.
But Nancy didn't stop Neve. Instead, she helped her.
Neve's accident caused Gotrend Entertainment great damage.
Haider had to take the rest of the loss other than Neve's.
He didn't punish Nancy too severely. He just kicked her out of the industry.
People who were kicked out of the entertainment industry wouldn't easily go back again.
Haider's punishment was heavy for Nancy.
But if he punished Nancy according to the corresponding compensation on the contract, she would go bankrupt and perhaps even be involved in Neve's incident. She could be arrested too. So Haider was kind enough to Nancy.
Nancy was silent for a while before shaking her head, "No."
Haider hummed, "I hope such things won't happen again."
Having said that, Haider took a step closer to Nancy, and said in a voice that only the two of them could hear, "You know my brother is very defensive. If you mess with Bonnie again, you will end up just like Neve, understand?"
Nancy broke out in cold sweat. She nodded with some panic.
Haider patted Nancy on the shoulder, "Okay, you can go, I will have the car repaired, and you won't have to bear the cost."
After speaking, Haider walked away.
Evan walked forward, "I didn't expect you to be such a generous boss."
Haider glanced at him, "So why are you here?"
"Myles called me. His sweetheart needs my car."
Haider seemed a little helpless. "Let's chill?"
Evan hesitated for a moment, then nodded, "Okay, it's been a while."
By the time Bonnie got to Deep in Dream, Ivan had already arrived.
When she finally found him, Ivan had already drunk a lot.
On seeing her, he waved, "Come here. Grab a drink."
Bonnie sat down next to Ivan, "Are you here to get drunk?"
Ivan waved his hand at Bonnie, "Not really. I want to talk. In Manches City, you are the only person I can think of."
Bonnie pressed Ivan's hand as he poured the wine, "If I drink, no one will send you back later, and no one will listen to you."
When Ivan heard this, he stopped. "Alright then."
Bonnie hummed, "Okay."
Bonnie looked at Ivan, "Tell me before you get drunk. What happened?"
Ivan glanced at Bonnie, then poured himself another glass of wine and sipped it to his lips, "Bonnie, tell me...if I go compete with Zane now, what will the result be like?" When Bonnie heard Ivan's words, she raised her eyebrows, "Are you already drunk?"
Ivan smiled, "No, I only had two drinks, not too much."
"Then what the hell are you talking about? Compete with Zane? Are you trying to completely screw up your relationship with Yanis?"
Hearing Bonnie's words, Ivan frowned, "I haven't seen her for... nearly three or four months."
Speaking of which, Ivan looked at Bonnie and asked, "Is she back yet? With Zane? Are they remarried?"
Bonnie looked at Ivan and wanted to say something to comfort him, but she couldn't.
Before, she encouraged Ivan to be brave and said he wouldn't know what would happen unless he tried.
But now she suddenly didn't know what to say.
She knew how much Ivan loved Yanis.
But...
"Ivan."
Bonnie called out to him in a low voice, "Do you like Yanis so much? Must it be her?"
Pressing his glass to his lips, Ivan was silent for a few seconds, "I would have answered yes without hesitation before, but now... Bonnie, I am not sure."
"Yes?"
"Yanis loves Zane so much that even though he hurt her, she still likes him."
Ivan said, "Do you know how excited I was when I heard Yanis was going to divorce him? I couldn't sleep that night. I dreamed I was with Yanis, and she said she liked me..." Looking at Ivan, Bonnie felt sorry for him. "Ivan, you know Yanis..."
"Yes."
Ivan interrupted Bonnie, "I know she sees me as a friend, a best friend, and never wants anything more."
Bonnie didn't answer because she didn't know what to say.
They were silent for a while before Ivan said, "Bonnie, maybe... I don't like her that much. Or my likes have been worn out bit by bit unknowingly over the years, so I don't know how I should move forward." "Why don't you try to put that love into other things, or other people?"
It took Bonnie a long time to say so.
Ivan tilted his head to look at Bonnie, "Whom? You?"
Hearing this, Bonnie laughed, "If you think you can fall in love with me, then try it."
Ivan also smiled, "I'm afraid Myles will kill me before I even start!"
