Chapter 630: He Won't Break Up Based on How Much He Cares About Bonnie

Ivan answered the phone quickly, "Bonnie?"

"Ivan, are you busy? Want to come hang out with me?"

"Just got home, getting ready to eat," Ivan replied.

"Don't eat yet, come have a drink with me. I've missed you," Bonnie said.

Ivan chuckled softly and asked, "Where are you? Alone?"

"With Yanis. Will you come?" Bonnie invited him.

"Sure thing. If Miss Cooke is inviting me like this, I can't say no," Ivan agreed.

Being clever as he was, Ivan could tell from Bonnie's tone that she wasn't in a good mood. So he went along with her conversation and said,

"Okay then. Send me the location on my phone later."

After a pause, Bonnie added,

"Oh yeah... don't bring your fiancée along. This isn't really her scene."

"Mmm-hmm... we're not together anymore anyway so I'll just come by myself," Ivan responded.

Bonnie nodded before realizing that Ivan couldn't see her and added another "Mmm-hmm" before saying goodbye.

At Bexter's Mansion:

Ivan put his shoes back on after changing them and looked towards the living room area,

"I won't be eating at home tonight; something came up." Madison stood up immediately after hearing his words and looked at him standing in the foyer, "Dinner is ready; why don't you eat first before going out?"

"No thanks; I'll go out for dinner instead. You guys go ahead without me - I might be late coming back tonight," replied Ivan as he straightened his clothes while looking at Madison. Madison wanted to ask more questions but Ryan spoke up from behind her:

"Just let him go if it's urgent business - stop asking so many questions all the time."

Hearing this made Madison swallow down what she wanted to say next as she watched Ivan turn around and leave through the door which slammed shut loudly right in front of her face.

She sighed heavily while staring at that closed door before turning back into the living room saying:

"This kid never changes..."

"You should mind your own business more often - he's an adult now not a three-year-old child! Do you think it's appropriate for everything about him to concern only yourself?" Ryan scolded Madison who retorted:

"But isn't it my job since I'm his mother? Who else would care about him if not for family members like us?"

Ryan stared at her incredulously: "You're becoming more confused as you get older! Can't you see how distant he has become from us lately? And there wouldn't have been any problems between Yanis if we hadn't insisted on making Mila marry into our family..."

"That's enough!" snapped Madison interrupting Ryan mid-sentence: "Didn't YOU oppose their relationship when they were still together?"Ryan was a bit tongue-tied. "But I didn't go as far as you did." "I went too far? Are you saying that now? If Ivan had really brought the person back, who would have looked good, you or me?" Madison yelled at Ryan.

Ryan was silent for a few seconds and then stood up. "Okay, let's eat."

Madison was angry but followed Ryan to the dining room.

When Ivan drove to the night market, Bonnie had already started drinking and seemed a little drunk.

Ivan sat down next to Bonnie. "You're already drinking?"

After speaking, Ivan greeted Yanis and Stella.

Yanis looked at him. "Haven't eaten yet?"

Ivan shook his head. "Nope. Miss Cooke called me over right away without delay."

Bonnie handed him her drink directly. "Have some."

"I haven't eaten yet," Ivan took the bottle of alcohol from her hand, "Can I eat something first?"

Bonnie slapped the table. "Boss! Can we get some noodles here?"

The boss responded quickly: "Sure thing! What kind of noodles do you want?"

Bonnie looked at Ivan.

Ivan glanced at the menu on the wall before saying: "Green vegetable noodles without eggs."

The boss replied: "Got it."

"What's going on? How did she start drinking again?" Ivan unbuttoned two buttons on his collar and looked at Bonnie in confusion.

"I wanted to drink," said Bonnie simply while handing two more bottles of alcohol over to Stella with one for herself too."Come on Stella, let's drink together and toast our dead love!" "Cheers!" Stella had been pressed by Bonnie into drinking quite a bit already so she was also feeling tipsy now; they began singing together while continuing their drinks.

Watching them both chug their bottles together made Ivan frown slightly before turning towards Yanis asking: "Did Myles fight with her?"

"Who fought with him?" Before Yanis could speak up though, Bonnie shouted out loud looking straight towards Ivana nd grabbing onto his hand tightly."I'm breaking up with him, I'm breaking up!" Upon hearing this statement from Bonnie, Ivan couldn't help but glance towards Yanis' face first before responding:"... What about me then?"

"I think you're okay." Before Bonnie could say anything else, Ivan emphasized this point first instead.

Bonnie snorted, "You're a little better now!"

Ivan chuckled, "Just a little?"

Bonnie burped from the alcohol, "Just a little!"

Ivan didn't argue with her and said, "Okay. Just a little it is."

Bonnie was satisfied and went to talk to Stella.

The owner brought over the cooked noodles.

Ivan moved closer to Yanis because he was worried Bonnie might accidentally spill hot soup on herself.

He kept some distance from Bonnie.

"Yanis, have you eaten?" Ivan asked before starting to eat with his chopsticks.

Yanis replied, "I ate with Bonnie earlier. It's not that hot anymore so you can eat it while it's still warm."

Ivan nodded and ate his noodles. After wiping his mouth clean with a napkin and taking two sips of water from his cup, he lowered his voice and asked Yanis, "Did they have an argument?"

After hearing Ivan's question, Yanis whispered back,"Myles has been missing for some time now. He sent messages saying he wanted to break up with Bonnie but no one has been able to replace him yet. Haider is also looking for him."

"Is Myles not in Manchester City?" Ivan asked after listening carefully.

"Haidar checked everywhere including Black Market but couldn't replace him," Yanis replied solemnly.

"So where could he be? He wouldn't just disappear like this without telling Bonnie anything," Ivan said in concern.

"At first Myles sent greetings messages which seemed normal but today when Haider called Bonnie she found out that Myles disappeared after visiting his hometown," Yanis explained further.

After hearing what Yanis had said about Myles' disappearance situation, Ivan furrowed his brow slightly,"So we can't replace him now?"

Yanis nodded sadly.

"Myles cares about Bonnie very much so I don't think he would say something like breaking up lightly since we all know how much he loves her," added Yanis.

"That's true but according to the messages on Myle's phone as well as those sent by him to Haider all mentioned about breaking up with Bonny," concluded Yanissadly.
