Chapter 640: No Spelling, No Wife!

When Albi saw Zane's message, she was drinking water and almost choked. She couldn't help but say, "Mr. Lawrence, wouldn't it be better to just give all your property to Mrs. Lawrence instead of sending these things?"

Seeing Albi's reply, Zane glanced at Yanis' face and quickly replied to her: "[Tomorrow I'll have the legal department prepare a share transfer and property gifting agreement.]" Albi: "..."

A table full of dishes, four people only ate a small portion and there were still many dishes left.

Bonnie directly asked the waiter to pack up the leftovers.

"What are you going to do with the food?" Yanis asked Bonnie.

Bonnie mysteriously said, "Give it away."

As for who she was giving it to, Bonnie didn't say anything but instructed the waiter to use their restaurant's logo on the packaging box.

After leaving Maple House, Bonnie looked at Anika and said, "Anika let's go somewhere fun instead of being third wheels."

Without hesitation Anika agreed and looked at Zane and Yanis,"Brother-in-law you guys go ahead we'll hang out with Bonnie."

Without waiting for Zane or Yanis' response Anika pulled Bonnie away.

In an instant there were only Yanis and Zane left in front of Maple House.

The two stood there for a while before Zane raised his hand to check the time. "It's still early. Want to take a walk around here?" Yanis nodded, "Sure."

During their stroll around they talked about Myles' situation

At first when Yanis asked about Myles, Zane didn't say anything until he called out his name then he told him everything

"So as long as he takes his medicine regularly, and gets enough rest, it won't affect him much, right?"Yanis asked looking at Zane

Zane nodded. "Basically yes. He probably made such an immature decision because he was caught off guard by this news."

Yanis also agreed with what Zanesaid. Myles' behavior was indeed childish, but when it comes down life or death anyone can panic momentarily

"Did he mention when he will come see Bonnie?"

Zanesaid,"He has been hospitalized for one month so maybe after that oncehe is feeling better."

After saying that, Zanelookedat Yannisand whispered softly:"Yannis, I promised Myles notto tell you.""Yanis," Zane said, looking up at her. "I didn't force you to do anything. You said it yourself." Zane raised an eyebrow and took Yanis's hand. "When beauty is in front of you, it's hard to resist."

Yanis listened to Zane's words and tried to pull her hand away from him, but he held on tighter.

In the end, Yanis stopped struggling and let him lead her around for a while before they returned to the car.

Zane didn't push too hard or ask Yanis again if she wanted to go home with him tonight because he knew that this was something that couldn't be rushed.

He needed to give Yanis time to calm down and filter out some of the things that had happened before so they could minimize any barriers between them.

Zane dropped Yanis off at her studio door. "Get some rest. Goodnight."

"Goodnight," Yanis replied as she got out of the car.

Standing by the car, she told Zane he could leave after watching her enter the building safely.

But just as she turned around, Zane called out her name. She stopped and looked back at him questioningly.

"See you tomorrow," he said softly from a few steps away from where she stood by his car.

Although he had intended on doing something more than just saying goodbye when they parted ways earlier tonight, when their eyes met once again in this moment all his thoughts dissipated into a simple phrase: see you tomorrow

Yanis nodded in response before turning back towards the entrance of her studio building without another word exchanged between them

As soon as she made it upstairs safely inside though, she saw through window blinds that Zane was still standing outside by his parked vehicle below looking up towards where she disappeared into view above.

She waved down at him gesturing for him leave now since there wasn't much else left unsaid or done between them tonight. In response, he blew a kiss towards where she stood watching then smiled warmly before finally getting into his own vehicle driving off into distance.

Albi was efficient with handling business matters; early next morning already having drafted documents for share transfers and property gifting per Mr. Lawrence's request last night.

"Mr. Lawrence," Albi handed over papers detailing everything clearly laid out within each clause ."Add one more thing." Albi looked at Zane and asked, "One more thing?" Zane nodded and handed the file back to Albi. "If he mistreats Yanis or cheats on her with another woman, he will be kicked out of the house and never allowed to see Yanis again." After hearing this, Albi was shocked. "What's wrong?" He wanted to say something but didn't want to seem like he didn't trust Zane's loyalty towards Yanis. So instead, Albi just nodded his head in agreement and said, "Okay, I'll add it in right away."

Albi took the file from the table and added what Zane had just said. When the legal team saw what was written down they were also shocked. "Albi," they said incredulously, "Mr. Lawrence is really going all out for this!" Albi replied while organizing the documents in his hands, "If he doesn't go all out for this then he won't have a wife anymore!" The legal team gasped at how serious it was.

"You're still young," Alibi continued with a smile on his face as if reminiscing about something long ago past that only someone who has lived through it could understand fully. The legal team looked at him reluctantly as if not wanting to believe that such things could happen.

"Are you saying you have a girlfriend?" They asked teasingly.

"No," replied Alibi quickly changing topics before anyone else could ask anything else about his personal life or lack thereof.

"Is your work done yet? Why are you wasting time here?"

The legal team had nothing else left to say so they went back to their own work while watching him leave with an air of mystery around him.

Zane finished up some paperwork before looking at the time and realizing that it was getting late so he got up from his desk leaving everything behind except for one folder which contained important information regarding Mr. Lawrence's business dealings over seas which needed immediate attention otherwise things would start falling apart without proper management skills being put into place by someone who knew exactly what needed doing when faced with such situations where every second counts!

Zane drove straight home after leaving Lawrence Group building without taking anyone along since there wasn't enough space inside car anyways due too many files stacked inside already making sure not forget anything important behind either way possible even though Sophia might have been waiting outside hoping get glimpse her boss coming home early today!
