Chapter 702 Myles is the Most Stable One

Bonnie spoke as she drove, "I was thinking, both sides are pressuring us to get married, right? Myles wanted to open a studio before, but I think it was just a passing fancy. So I'm planning on starting a wedding planning business and having him run it. That way he'll have something to do instead of wasting his time on meaningless things that harm himself and others."

"You're being a bit harsh. Although Myles has been hanging around with the wrong crowd, he still has some sense," Yanis said as he looked at Bonnie.

"You know very well that Myles hasn't turned himself into a criminal like some of the others because you're always on his mind. He knows what's right and wrong and always weighs his options carefully. His scale always tips in your favor so there's no need for you to worry," Yanis continued.

"What are you saying? You belong to me so why are you defending Myles? Did he give you something?" Bonnie sneered.

Yanis leaned back in his seat, "Don't forget how you defended Zane before. Did he give you something?"

"That's not even comparable! They're not even in the same league!" Bonnie retorted.

"The principle is still the same though. You tend to focus on the negative side too much instead of looking at the positive side more often," Yanis explained patiently.

Bonnie listened silently for several seconds before admitting softly, "Maybe it's just my habit."

"Actually among all our acquaintances here in town, Myles is probably one of the most level-headed people we know. He considers everything thoroughly and takes care of everything that needs attention except when it comes to prioritizing your needs over others'. That might be why sometimes what he does seems questionable from your perspective," Yanis said calmly.

After hearing these words from Yanis, Bonnie suddenly realized she didn't understand Myles as well as she thought she did.

"I guess... I'm just worried about him."

Yanis nodded understandingly,

"I can see that now - caring too much causes chaos sometimes.

Many things can be seen clearly if we remain calm enough analyze them objectively instead of letting negativity cloud our judgment."

Bonnie turned her head to Yanis. "You've grown up, Miss Thompson," she said with a smile.

Yanis chuckled. "Well, you should learn to grow up too and face the storm alone. That way, you won't have so many unnecessary thoughts."

Bonnie gave Yanis a thumbs-up. "Thanks for teaching me a lesson today, Teacher Thompson. I'll remember it."

Yanis smiled back at her. "Words of thanks won't do it justice. Buy me lunch later."

"No problem! You're in charge of lunch," Bonnie replied.

When they arrived at the wedding venue, the groom was already there wearing glasses and looking refined.

"Hello, I'm Hanbal Tahan," he introduced himself to Bonnie as he approached her.

"Hi there, Bonnie," she greeted him back.

"I heard from several friends that you did an excellent job planning weddings before this one so I asked them for your contact information," Hanbal explained with a nod of his head. Bonnie laughed modestly in response. "I'm still new to this industry and have much room for improvement."

Hanbal continued speaking with admiration in his voice: "My girlfriend and I attended one of the weddings that you planned before this one where we worked together as volunteers; my girlfriend loved your style so much that she insisted on hiring you for our own wedding because she wants it to be warm and romantic like yours was."

Upon hearing these words from Hanbal's mouth, Bonnie looked at him curiously: "Did your girlfriend not come today?"

"She's an elementary school teacher who had classes this morning so unfortunately couldn't make it here today; therefore only I came instead," Hanbal answered politely while smiling warmly towards Bonnie's direction..

"Alright then let's go check out the venue," said Bonnie turning towards him after hearing his explanation..

"Sure thing! This way please!" replied Hanbal leading them inside where they took a look around together.. After surveying their surroundings carefully, Bonnie asked Hanbal: "Did you guys replace this place yourselves?"

Hanbel nodded affirmatively saying: "Yes indeed! One of my classmates owns this hotel which offers very competitive prices hence why we chose here."

After taking another glance around herself, Bonnie shook her head slightly saying:"This place might be too small though if there are many guests attending your banquet?"

Hanbel thought about it briefly then responded:"There will probably be about twelve tables or so - six on each side- but we should still manage just fine!"

However, Bonnie disagreed by shaking her head again stating firmly:"Nope, it won't work; once decorations are added, the space will become cramped making room only enough for four tables maximum!" After hearing Bonnie's words, Hanbal asked, "What if we make the venue a little smaller?"

"I'll give it a try, but no matter how we arrange it, there may be some crowding and that could affect the overall effect," Bonnie explained in detail to Hanbal about the possible impact. "What if we use his personal parking lot outside?" Hanbal suggested.

"It's not a problem to use it outside, but you also need to consider the weather on your wedding day. After all, we can't be sure what kind of weather it will be that day," Bonnie reminded him.

Hanbal hesitated after hearing this. "But we've already agreed on this location. It wouldn't be appropriate to suddenly change venues."

"We can make the stage smaller and lengthen it later. We can move those two big flower pots at the entrance," Yanis offered timely advice. "And this screen should be movable too. We can move it away when needed so there will be enough space."

Bonnie looked over at Yanis and nodded in agreement. "That works fine since there is plenty of space behind here."

Hanbal glanced behind the screen and saw three or five meters of empty space left over. "Okay then, that shouldn't be a problem."

Bonnie nodded her head in agreement with Hanbal's decision."We'll follow your original style as you said before; if there are any changes or details you want us to adjust later on just let me know anytime and I'll do my best to present you with an excellent scene according to your requirements."

"Great! Thank you Boss Cooke for your help!" Hanbal expressed his gratitude.

"You're welcome," she replied politely.

After leaving the site together, Yanis mentioned Aurora's situation while they were walking towards Stella's store. They went inside but found out their boss wasn't around today due to some business matters. "Is your boss not here?" Bonnie asked one of Stella's employees who was sorting clothes nearby.

"Our boss didn't come today, she said she had something important going on." The employee replied politely.

Bonnie turned towards Yanis after hearing this news."Why don't you call her up and ask where she is?"

Yanis nodded his head before making his way aside for making a phone call. Bonnie stood beside him watching as he dialed their boss' number.

While waiting for Yanis' response, Bonnie started chatting with one of Stella's employees again."Have you found someone new yet?" She asked curiously about hiring new staff members for their store.
