Chapter 889: Regretting Entering the Entertainment Industry?
Listening to Sandy's words, Anthony furrowed his brow slightly. "Why did you choose to enter the entertainment industry in the first place?" Leaning on the railing, Sandy looked at the continuously scrolling photos on the big screen. "Maybe I thought being a star was cool." Anthony turned his head to look at Sandy's profile. "Do you regret it now? Do you regret entering the entertainment industry?"
Sandy smiled. "In life, there are always things to regret. As long as you don't voice them, no one will know."
Anthony felt an impulse to reach out and embrace Sandy, but he suppressed it with reason. He laughed softly, "Hiruma!"
Hiruma acknowledged, "Anthony, I'll shut that guy up."
Hiruma was accompanied by a few others who were probably familiar to him. They all rushed forward when Hiruma went to confront the man.
What seemed like a romantic marriage proposal turned into a farce.
Sandy watched as they dragged the man away and asked in a low voice, "Will there be any trouble?"
"Don't worry, they know how to handle it."
At this point, Anthony looked at Sandy. "Did you have male fans like this before?"
Sandy nodded. "And there were female fans like that too."
Anthony was shocked to hear Sandy's words. "F-female fans?"
Sandy chuckled. "Yes."
Anthony, although not a good person, had truly never heard or seen such things before. Sandy's words were shocking to him, as if a door to a new world had been opened. "Whether it's men or women, we all encounter many unexpected things," Sandy said softly.
Anthony was not very familiar with the entertainment industry. He had never inquired about Aaron's affairs in the industry before, nor did he know what roles Aaron had played or what notable works he had produced. He only started paying attention to the industry after getting to know Sandy.
But now, after hearing Sandy's words, Anthony realized that his understanding of the industry was only superficial. The entertainment industry was truly a big melting pot, with deep and murky waters that could easily drown someone, leaving them without even a chance to cry for help.
After experiencing the earlier farce, Anthony no longer had the mood to savor the feeling of being alone with his goddess.
He walked out of the light show venue with Sandy and leisurely headed towards a nearby street. It was a modest food street, lined with stalls offering various snacks. There were queues of people in front of each stall.
Sandy actually enjoyed eating these snacks, but she was disciplined to maintain her figure. She rarely indulged herself, not even once.
Only after being with Brandon did Sandy eat a bite or two of food because Brandon kept nagging about how thin she was.
Seeing Sandy's gaze fixed on the food, Anthony asked, "What do you feel like eating?"
Sandy turned her head to look at Anthony. "I don't feel like eating."
"Keeping in shape?"
Sandy smiled. "It's important to have some self-discipline."
Anthony whispered, "But occasionally indulging shouldn't be a problem, right? Or is it that you don't eat street food?"
"Not really. I've eaten it before, sneaking out with my manager late at night. But after eating, I felt guilty and had to exercise like crazy the next day."
Listening to Sandy, Anthony chuckled softly. "Then how about I join you for a workout tomorrow?"
Sandy replied, "No, I'm going to Viteto tomorrow."
Anthony looked at Sandy and asked, "What are you going to Viteto for? Shooting a film?"
Sandy shook her head. "Visiting a friend."
"A male or female friend?"
Sandy looked at Anthony. "A boyfriend."
Sandy was a very observant person, and it was obvious to her that Anthony's attitude had changed. That's why she spoke so frankly about it.
When Anthony heard Sandy's words, he raised an eyebrow playfully. "A boyfriend? Can you still date?"
Sandy nodded with a smile. "Of course, why not? We're human too, with desires and emotions."
"I thought most celebrities don't date, for the sake of their careers and all that."
Sandy shook her head. "It's not always the case. Many artists openly date and get married."
