Chapter 522 Obsession

If Lauren could get Harper away from Benjamin, it would all be worth it.

No one was allowed to be around Benjamin if she couldn't get him and be there.

She narrowed her eyes slightly and looked at Frank indifferently. "If I sleep with him smoothly, I will expect you to do what you said. Don't hurt him, and I want him to spend the rest of his life paying me back."

Frank didn't say anything, and he just pursed his lips lightly as he gave her a look.

His eyes showed an expression as if he were looking at a fool, but he didn't show it and remained calm all through.

Lauren didn't hear a response, and she frowned, saying blandly, "Did you hear what I said?"

"It's too early for me to say so much. It's not too late to wait until you actually get Benjamin, and as long as you're completely sure of threatening him, things will be easier from now on. If you don't pose any threat to him, do you know what will happen?" Frank looked cold. He really wanted to take Lauren's head apart and see what was in it. Was Benjamin that good? Why was she so obsessed?

For the sake of their common purpose, Lauren was not willing to let Benjamin get hurt, but Benjamin might not fancy her, especially since she was still entangled with Patrick now, which was simply self-inflicted.

Frank narrowed his eyes slightly, his deep eyes revealing a hint of meaningful coldness as he said calmly, "Lauren, men know men best. If Benjamin still has just a little sympathy and affection for you, he would also mind if you get too close to other men and have an unclear relationship."

Lauren immediately realized what he meant, and she was so upset that she said evasively, "What's unclear? What are you talking about? Don't be ridiculous."

"Do you think Benjamin really doesn't know anything at all about your relationship with Patrick?"

"Of course he doesn't know."

Lauren thought she kept it so well under wraps that she wouldn't let Benjamin know. As for Patrick, he would be even less likely to say anything. If he asked for it, Lauren would definitely not be bothering with him.

Lauren thought about it carefully and eventually decided that Benjamin couldn't possibly know.

But Frank just grinned. "Are you sure

he doesn't know? Or does he not care even if he knows? You know

that the Martin family in Mayby can be nothing but a handful. If Benjamin really wanted to

there's no way he wouldn't know unless he didn't care, right?"

"That's enough. I'm not asking you to criticize me, and no matter what he has in mind, as soon as this is done, I'll be his wife."

She warned Frank. Regardless of the fact that Benjamin didn't care, she was going to be his wife. Otherwise, she wasn't pleased.

Frank didn't say anything more, and

he just told her to get ready and get out the door. Just in case, he had Lauren hide the powder directly in her lipstick. Even if it was found, Benjamin wouldn't suspect it was medicine.

Lauren went back to her room, put on her makeup, and changed. Frank received a message that Benjamin was staying at the Mayby International Hotel, a hotel owned by the Martin Group. All she could determine was that he was staying at the hotel, but she didn't know the room number, so Lauren was on her own.

Before Lauren left for the hotel, Benjamin was also just returning to the hotel from a meeting at the office.

In order to act realistically, he stayed in a hotel while Harper stayed in an apartment.

Benjamin was walking into the hotel when Curtis parked his car and followed him. Curtis then came up to him and whispered something in his ear and a smile immediately appeared on his handsome face, but his eyes looked grim.

He said slowly, "The game is getting interesting. How about replaceing a reporter who is reliable and speaks with some influence to watch a scene with us?"
