Mia's mindset was indeed old-fashioned. After contemplating for amoment, she said softly, "Zoe, have a baby. Life won't be as tough witha child.”

Zoe understood her good intentions. She once desired to have a childwith Mason when she was with him. However, returning to his sideagain, she had no such thoughts.

Zoe smiled lightly. “Let's talk about it in a couple of years."

Mia sighed softly and watched Zoe leave.

After leaving the hospital, Zoe went to the clinic to get morecontraceptives. Maybe it was her imagination, but the recent intimatemoments with Mason made her think he was not keen on usingprotection. Sometimes, even when they had run out of condoms, hewould still proceed eagerly.

Not wanting to get pregnant, she had to take care of it herself. Aftergetting the medicine, she was about to leave but unexpectedlyencountered the very people she did not want to see.

Although they were not from a notable background, due to Mason'srelationship, the medical staff here treated them with respect. So,despite their arrogance, they received polite treatment.

Seeing Zoe, Carly became furious. The last time they met at thehospital, Mason clearly favored Lilith. She had calculated that Masonwould divorce Zoe once he returned home and then express his love toLilith.

Carly released the wheelchair, acting arrogantly. “Don't think sleepingwith Mr. Mason will make him like you. You'd better not be too upsetabout how Mr. Mason dotes on Lilith.

"Have you heard of the violin virtuoso, Aiden? He is about to acceptLilith as his student. He even hosted a few banquets for us for Mr.Mason's sake."

Lilith blushed with embarrassment. She felt ashamed and jealous ofZoe.

Zoe did not turn around, freeing her wrist from Mason's grasp andstepping into the elevator.

Mason followed her inside.

Carly was left dumbfounded, wanting to speak but afraid of Mason. Shecould only watch as the elevator doors closed in front of her.

Ava had had enough of this mother-daughter duo. She could not helpbut mock them. "Ms. Lilith, please control your mother. Mr. Mason wasalready upset about the last incident. If you provoke Mrs. Zoe like thisagain, Mr. Mason might cut off the medical expenses, and the deal withMr. Aiden might fall through.”

Carly could not resist asking, "Ava, how could Mr. Mason... touch her?"Ava sneered. "Not only does it happen, but it happens frequently.”
