Chapter 220 Colbert Got Angry 1

"Welcome to Eastway Village."

The simple and honest Leo grinned and greeted Eudora.

"I came to Ford County to do public welfare on behalf of King Enterprise. We have prepared many things for the children, all of which will arrive soon," Eudora said.

"Thank you, thank you. On behalf of Eastway Village, I want to express our thanks for your coming. Come with me. My family has prepared lunch. Come and have lunch with us," Leo said to Eudora and Colbert.

Some surrounding villagers were not very good at English, so they just stood aside and watched. Although they didn't speak, they were smiling and looked very friendly.

Eudora and Colbert followed Leo toward Leo's home.

Along the way, Leo enthusiastically introduced the situation of Eastway Village, so Eudora and Colbert got to know more about the village.

At Leo's home, Eudora met Ken and Colbert's two... She guessed they might be Colbert's bodyguards.

Eudora was not sure about the identities of those two men, but judging from their vigorous figure and muscular chest muscles, she didn't think they were ordinary people.

Eastway Village was located at the foot of the mountain. Although Leo's family was the wealthiest in Eastway Village, there were only five mud brick houses with rows of green bricks and tiles on the roof. There was a large amount of maple trees behind the house and a pond at the door.

Standing at the door, listening to the barking of dogs, the crowing of cocks, and the gurgling of spring water, one could feel that he had entered a paradise with picturesque scenery and pleasant temperature. If it was not too far away from the city, separated by several mountains, maybe the tourism industry could be developed.

After entering Leo's home, they sat and chatted together. Soon, Matt Davis, the head of the village, came back.

Matt had a wrinkled forehead. He was short and had a little hump, wearing a thin sleeveless white vest, with a row of handicaps, matching black loose pants and... straw sandals. He wore a dark blue hat on his head, and a cigarette was in his hand.

"Welcome. I had something to deal with just now, so I came back late. Please forgive me if there's anything wrong with hospitality."

Matt's English was not very good, and he spoke English with an accent. But Eudora and her companions could vaguely understand what he was saying.

Eudora and her companions greeted Matt and sat down to eat and drink together.

The lunch was sumptuous. Matt prepared a chicken and a goose to entertain them lavishly.

After the meal, Matt said, "Eudora, you are a girl, so you can live in our house. There is a spacious room which has a door, so it will be convenient for you. The guys can live in Amy Miller's house and Neil Smith's house next door."

"Okay, thank you, Mr. Davis. We'll be all yours."
