Chapter 232 The Masked Man

After tidying up everything, seeing that it was early, Eudora walked out of the courtyard.

Immediately, she saw clouds and mist in the air, mist on the pond, and crystal clear water droplets on the flowers and plants on the roadside. The breeze blew slightly, making the water droplets roll down from the leaves.

Green mountains, clear waters, singing birds, fragrant flowers, clouds, and mist, everything made it like a fairyland.

Eudora enjoyed it so much that she walked into the village in slippers, experiencing a different morning.

Going out from Matt's house, she walked all the way south to the wheat field at the south end of the village, where there was still a very old stone mill.

Just as Eudora was curious, a limping man in shabby clothes, with a mask on his face, passed her with a walking stick.

Eudora was attracted by his weird attire. When she looked sideways at the hunchback masked man, the man was also looking at her.

A copper mask covered the top of his mouth to his forehead, revealing a pair of eyes, making it impossible to see his true face.

"Sir, good morning... Ah!"

Just as Eudora was staring at the masked man, Rosetta suddenly appeared and greeted the masked man enthusiastically.

But when the masked man withdrew his eyes and looked at Rosetta, she was taken aback.

The man's indifferent eyes were as still as a dry well, but they gave people a gloomy and frightening sense. It seemed that there were many secrets hidden in him.

The frightened Rosetta ran to Eudora's side and dragged her, too scared to speak for a while.

It wasn't until the staggering, hunchbacked man walked away with a walking stick that Rosetta patted her chest and sighed. "Oh, my God. I was scared to death. How come there is such a man in Eastway Village?"

"Why are you following me?"

Eudora glanced at Rosetta coldly and asked.

"Hey, I think that if I am with you, I might meet my Mr. Perfect. Moreover, you said yesterday I bought one and got one free, and you still have to help me once."

The upright Rosetta said directly.

She was so simple, innocent, and straightforward that Eudora couldn't dislike her.

"Don't worry. I'll try my best to arrange it."

Eudora replied.

Afterward, the two walked around and returned to Matt's house, where they had breakfast together.

In the morning, Eudora went up the mountain again, carrying goods.

It was another busy day.

Because Eastway Village was the outermost village of the mountain, everything had to be transferred to Eastway Village first and then distributed to other villages. There were a lot of goods, and it took three days to transfer them.
