The three chatted cheerfully. Eudora was in a happy mood.

After returning home, she talked and played chess with Kevin.

Suddenly, Wendy called.

Eudora glanced at her phone but didn't answer.

After Kevin fell asleep, she went to bed next door.

Next door was the house that Colbert bought. The decoration was luxurious, which was greatly different from Eudora's.

Eudora went into the bedroom. She opened the cabinet door and was taken aback.

There were many winter clothes in the cabinet in different colors and styles.

Eudora tilted her head and found that these were all the latest brands of clothes for her.

She was deeply moved by Colbert's thoughtfulness and consideration.

Eudora was thinking about Colbert when his call came in.

She answered the phone, "Are you awake?"

"Don't you go to bed yet?"

Colbert's familiar and pleasant voice came from the other end of the phone, which made Eudora feel at ease.

Eudora swept her slender fingers over the clothes and asked flatly, "When did you prepare the clothes in the house next door?"

"A few days ago,"

Colbert replied casually.

After he bought the house, the clothes in the bedroom were changed on a quarterly basis.

"All right."

Eudora didn't think much about it. She turned around and lay on the bed. Holding a pillow, she continued, "I had dinner with John today. Guess who he brought with him?" Men were alert to their rivals in love.

Colbert was more displeased when Eudora mentioned John, but he didn't show it. "His girlfriend?"

"Don't be kidding. It was Jayleen. She apologized to me. She said that she shouldn't target me because of you and offered to be my friend."

Eudora sighed helplessly and pulled back her hair at the temples. "If one day Jayleen replaces out that the man in the mall was me, she must feel that I lied to her, and she will probably kill me." "Jayleen is a nice person. You can be friends."

Jayleen and Colbert had known each other since childhood. Although Colbert didn't pay much attention to Jayleen, he thought he knew Jayleen very well. "Friends?"

Eudora smiled coldly.

Colbert didn't know what kind of person Jayleen was.

Jayleen was only nice to the people she liked, but to those she didn't like or her enemies, she would make them suffer bitterly.
