I Saved A Mystery Billionaireac (Eudora) -
Chapter 942 Christmas Day
The next day.
Eudora got up early, went straight up the mountain, and dragged Kevin home. Several people sat and chatted together, making gnocchi and other food for Christmas Day. It was already noon after work.
Mildred began preparing for Christmas Day dinner when they finished eating. And Ansel started decorating the room.
Ansel had decorations from home. He also prepared extra for Kevin's house.
Eudora and Kevin went up the mountain with decorations and fireworks, decorated his house, and set off the fireworks. Bang, bang, bang.
The sound of fireworks crackled, the strong smell of it filled the air, and the smoke curled up from the snow.
Eudora stood there, listening to the sound of fireworks as if she had returned to her childhood.
Back then, Christmas Day was the best time of the year.
In the evening, the four of them sat together, watching TV programs, drinking wine, and talking, and the atmosphere was quite cordial.
Kevin and Ansel were especially delighted. They drank a lot of wine and fell on the dining table while Mildred mumbled and dragged them to the bed. Eudora and Mildred sat in front of the fireplace to warm up when they finished cleaning up, chatting, and waiting for Christmas Day countdown. Knock, knock, knock.
Just then, someone knocked on the door.
At first, Eudora thought it was another family setting off fireworks. She got it wrong.
She didn't look at Mildred until the voice sounded again. "Mom, who's here so late?"
"I'll take a look."
Mildred gestured to get up, but Eudora pushed her to sit down. "You've been busy all day. I'll go answer the door."
Eudora got up, went to the front yard, and opened the gate.
At this time, she saw that the person standing at the door was... Colbert?
And his few friends, Colton, Jervis, and Trevor.
Eudora was stunned.
Shouldn't he be abroad right now?
"Why are you here?" Eudora didn't look happy and just asked coldly.
"Hi, Eudora, Merry Christmas." Colton, who was talkative, warmly stepped forward to greet her.
Jervis just nodded slightly as a greeting when he saw Eudora.
Trevor remained calm. "Merry Christmas. Sorry for the sudden drop by."
Holding a bunch of gifts in his hand, Colbert stood in front of Eudora, stared at her with a complicated look, and said, "I come to see Mr. and Mrs. Stanford."
Eudora stood at the door, holding the door with both hands as if she had no intention of opening the door. "Are you acquainted with my parents? You don't need to visit."
She thought about that day when she inadvertently saw how intimate Colbert was with another woman and even lied to her on the phone.
She felt that she didn't know Colbert well enough.
But it just so happened that she was not worthy of Colbert, so it might as well end here.
