with fervor, he cries

tears that singe his forlorn face

leaving trails of ash

anger waits silently

lies unseen, waiting to coil

around innocence

volcano erupts

hurt, burn, heart torn in pieces

bewildered love dies

above the boiling steam

stars blazed in the night sky bright

tentacles I feel

slither, tug, caress

unseen unwanted lover clings

i silently scream

stars gleam twinkle pulse

lie cold the night shivering

foggy tendrils grasp

i choke, breath squeezed bound

tentacle winds love felt true

my heart beats beyond

death asleep is peace

i still yearn for all before

smothered hope loves on

beast triumphant won

earth green thrives human shriek dies black

i am star ablaze
