Kidnapped By Rogue
Chapter 14

Rouge's point of view:

"Hurry," I said to the girls causing them to rush and bring our food over. Afterwards, they made their plates. Kenzie and Sarah walked over and sat where they always do, but Blakely stayed at the counter, standing whilst eating. Anger was building up inside me yet she kept her back to us and acted oblivious but still stiffened when I cleared my throat. I felt my blood boil and started to stand up, but River stopped me.

"I got it," he said to me as he stood. Blakely turned towards us and watched River walk over to her. He whispered something in her ear and she clenched her fists.

"You thought wrong," I heard her stutter. I could tell his patience was gone even before he grabbed her head and slammed it onto the counter. She slumped down to the floor and her eyes glazed over. Kenzie jumped from Riz's lap and ran over to her, bending down to sweep the hair out Blakely's face. She gasped when she noticed the blood on her hand, and Blakely groaned.

I walked over to her and picked her up to carefully take her to my room. Sarah held her hand as we walked and whispered soothing words into her ear. I layed her down and backed up as Kenzie and Sarah ran to her side. Her eyes shut suddenly and her body relaxed. I quickly checked her pulse and sighed. Why can't she behave?

"I've got an ice pack and a damp rag," Ace said when he entered the room. He handed them to Sarah then left. She cleaned up the blood and placed the ice on her head. I left shortly after, leaving the girls to take care of her.

When I walked into the kitchen, River was wiping the counter where Blakely's head hit. He looked up at me, "sorry," he muttered, but we both knew he wasn't. I shrugged and grabbed a coke from the fridge.

"I don't know what to do with her. I'm debating on rather or not to take the money her boyfriend offered and let her go," I said, sitting on a stool. He looked at me, obviously confused.

"What?" he asked. I then realized that he didn't know anything about that so I explained.

"Uh, well as you know, we take these girls and offer their parents an amount of money for their safe return. But, in Blakely's case, her dad can't pay because he's broke or whatever. So this kid named K.J. offered to pay it, but we said no because we only take the parent's money. And now I'm thinking that we should just take it and let her go," I said with another shrug.

River looked at me like I was stupid or crazy or both. "Just let her go? You kidnapped her. You will go to jail if anyone replaces out. You understand that? You can't just 'let her go'. You've kept her too long now, she knows a lot about you all. And you think she's gonna just go without the other two pets y'all have? No, you're just going to have to break her," he said with a sinister smile, "and I think I can help with that."
