Chapter 698

A middle-aged, overweight man was dragged forward.

"Help! Help!" The man's face was filled with terror.

Tiger said, "Sir, this man is the director of the East Coast TV station. He took five million from TimJefferson and provided convenience for Wendy Jefferson's plan!"

Chris turned his head and stared coldly at the middle-aged man. In an instant, the man felt as ifthousands of soldiers were staring at him simultaneously, with icy killing intent that sent chills downhis spine.

"Mr. Shelby, spare me! Spare me!" The middle-aged man cried out hastily.

"You know me?" Chris asked coldly.

"Yes, yes! You're the King of the East Coast, known to all!" The man replied nervously. As the directorof the East Coast TV station, he was considered a high-society figure and was familiar with Chris'sidentity as the King of the East Coast.

Upon hearing this, Chris laughed suddenly. "You have quite the nerve! Knowing who I am, yet youstill dared to slander my father-in-law. Are you seeking death?"

Chris shouted, realizing that perhaps he, the King of the East Coast, had been too silent for too long. His silence made people forget his existence and emboldened them to act recklessly.

As Chris spoke, it was as if a long knife was placed on the middle-aged man's neck. He immediatelyknelt down, crying and sniveling, "Mr. Shelby, I was blinded by greed. Please forgive me, I know Iwas wrong!"

Chris ignored him, smiling cruelly. "James Mester!"

People make mistakes, and they must pay the price.

"Sir!" James Mester stepped forward, his face respectful.

"Deal with this man. I don't want to see such a scourge on the East Coast again!" Chris ordered."Yes!" James Mester nodded, and a vicious expression appeared on his scholarly face. The middle-aged man was then dragged away, his face ashen.

"Where are Wendy Jefferson and the others now?" Chris asked James Mester coldly. The middle-aged man was just a small fry; the real masterminds were Wendy Jefferson and the overseas branchof the Jefferson family.

James Mester respectfully replied, "Sir, they are in the East Coast Grand Hotel. I'll take you thereimmediately!”

Under Chris's control, the East Coast had become an iron fortress. Even a fly entering the area wouldhave to register and couldn't escape Chris's watchful eye.

Hearing this, Chris sneered, "Let's go meet them!"

As Chris and his group left the TV station, Wendy Jefferson anxiously sat in the presidential suite ofthe East Coast Grand Hotel. She looked at Tim Jefferson and said urgently, "Master Tim, our planhas failed. We must leave immediately! If Chris replaces us, we're done for!"

Wendy Jefferson knew all too well who Chris was-a ruthless, cold-blooded killer who didn't hesitateto take lives. A demon!

Now that their scheme had fallen apart, Chris would undoubtedly replace and kill them all, given hispersonality. Wendy Jefferson was truly frightened of Chris

Upon hearing Wendy Jefferson's words, Tim Jefferson nonchalantly crossed his legs, lit a cigarette, and appeared unconcerned. "What's the hurry? Chris is just a mere son-in-law. Is he worth fearingso much? When he comes, I'll avenge your father's death!”

Hiss... Wendy Jefferson gasped in shock.
