"Okay, I promise you!" When he saw Henry Jefferson's determined attitude, John Jefferson couldonly nod.

Chris turned to James and said, "James, arrange for Mr. Jefferson the best nursing home on the EastCoast.”

"No problem, Mr. Shelby!" James said respectfully.

Henry looked up at Chris and said with a complicated expression, "Chris, we Jeffersons got to thisend because of you. But I still owe you a thank-you. You let me see through it all.”

Chris walked over, stared at Henry, and said indifferently, "Sir, this is what I should do. Let's notforget - I'm the son-in-law of your Jefferson family!"

"The son-in-law? Right! Heh!"

Henry said with a self-deprecating smile, "You are not any ordinary son-in-law. The Jeffersons’ fate isunpredictable with you here in the family!”

Henry was then pushed away by some of James’ bodyguards.

Chris looked at Henry's back without saying a word.

He knew what Henry's last words meant.

Chris either made or broke the Jeffersons!

Chris looked at John and said, "Dad, let's go home!"

John nodded.

Then the family left.

Felix died, and the crowd gradually dispersed.

Two lines of tears fell from the corners of Patrick Jefferson's eyes.

"Dad, I must avenge you!" He said through gritted teeth
