Angela stood up slowly, maintaining her smile the whole time. She looked at Andrew quietly like he was a clown.

Andrew's expression shifted as he stared at the secretary. He approached her, took the ballot from her, and quickly flipped through the votes.

To his surprise, over 40 out of 63 people had voted for Angela, and he even recognized some of the handwriting immediately.

Jordan and Logan used to follow his lead, and he knew their handwriting very well. One was elegant while the other one was bold. Now, it seemed those two had switched their votes to Angela. He wondered why they had changed their minds.

Andrew cast a fierce gaze at Logan, who instantly averted his eyes. He was too intimidated to meet Andrew's eyes.

Logan was clearheaded and smart. He knew he had upset Andrew and Sean in yesterday's meeting. Before he'd left, Angela had warned him to work hard and avoid using his status for personal favors. She had assured him that his future would be bright if he did that.

Logan had been following Andrew for a considerable period, acutely aware of the many people who criticized him and dismissed him behind closed doors.

He had long sought to change the existing circumstances but struggled to replace the right moment.

Fortunately, Angela's timely guidance had provided him with the clarity he needed. With just a moment of reflection, Logan had made up his mind.

When Andrew cast a questioning look at Jordan, the latter averted his gaze expressionlessly.

He was more anxious than anyone else in the room. Angela had a firm grip on him, and with such significant leverage, he dared not make another mistake.

"You must have bribed them long ago, Angela. You're just a young woman starting your career. What gives you the right to act this way?" Andrew could no longer contain his frustration.

Angela offered a nonchalant smile. "Mr. Graham, rather than

questioning me, perhaps you should consider why no one chose you Now, please return to your seat. I have another important announcement to make today."

Andrew's face drained of color as he shot an intense glare at Angela. "I disagree with it."

"Even if you disagree, you have no choice but to accept it. Your age does not determine your strength. I'm not Bill, and I won't be easily manipulated." Angela held back a smile, her gaze intense and unwavering.

Everyone gasped and gazed at her in disbelief. She was so fearless and strong.

Her transformation was impressive. She had become untouchable. At that point, no one dared to question her authority anymore.

Ignoring Andrew, she clapped her hands and signaled Clara, who had been waiting outside the door for quite some time. "Come in," she commanded.

"I'm establishing the department of supervision under my sole oversight. I've selected employees from different departments. The finalized list will be revealed shortly," Angela announced solemnly, but he words deeply affected everyone.

A supervision department?

Angela wanted to gather information on all the departments by having a representative from each one. This way, she'd know all the details between them. She was indeed formidable.

Before anyone had a chance to respond, she continued, "Allow me to introduce Clara Winslow. She is an exceptional talent I've brought over from DawnStar Co. She'll lead the department of supervision moving forward."

Clara approached the group and briefly introduced herself. Then, she returned to

stand beside Angela.
