Chapter 3

Seven years later. Mayfield Airport.

There was a six-year-old boy in a white T-shirt and blue jeans, with a pair of sunglasses on hishandsome little face. His pink lips were slightly pursed. The little boy was protected by a group ofbodyguards. He walked out of the airport exit. Behind him was a beautiful woman in a black dress. Herwavy hair was simple but fashionable. She carefully protected the little boy. “Look, he is here. It’s thefamous child star, Eric White.” “He is so cool!” “Even the way he walks is cool!” Eric’s fans keptscreaming. At the exit of the airport, a lot of people were taking photos of Eric with their phone. Eric, thechild star who had recently become famous throughout the country, was only six years old, but he wasvery well-known. He smiled at his fans around him and thanked them warmly before getting in a blackvan. With no more of the noise outside, Eric quickly took out his phone and dialed a phone number withhis thin fingers.

One, two, Eric muttered in his mind, and before he could say the number three, the phone call wasanswered. Eric’s mouth curled up slightly, and he said in a soft voice, “Mom, where are you?”

On the highway to the city center. In a taxi.

“Eric, mom is on the highway.” The woman who answered the phone was wearing a simple and elegantdress. Her face was delicate and pretty. Her beautiful curly hair was dyed a charming light brown, whichmade her look mature. “Good. Mom, you must remember to come and watch my performance.” Eric’svoice was soft and pleasant. The woman’s plump lips curved up slightly, and she smiled happily. “Okay, Iwill come to you later. Remember to send the location to me.” “Okay, mom!” The woman smiled andhung up. The smile at the corner of her mouth slowly disappeared. She looked out the window ateverything she was familiar with. Her eyes gradually turned cold and her mind gradually drifted away. However, she did not expect that after she graduated from university, whatawaited her was a snare.

She was pregnant because of that snare. Maybe the man’s genes were really good so that she hadtriplets. Two sons and one daughter. Back then, no matter how she tried to grasp her life, she couldn’tsucceed. However, youth was a ceremonious banquet that would end plainly. In seven years, shebecame calm and strong.
