Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 1102: Where's Hector?
Rowson followed the plan he had set out with Thomas earlier, parked across the road from the cottage and waited for him to come out. Hopefully, he would be able to bring Eloise out safely as well.
After nearly twenty minutes, he saw Lisa's man dragging a woman out of the villa.
He hurriedly grabbed his binoculars and was so excited to see that it was Eloise that his eyes could not help but get a little moist.
It had been an unknown amount of time since we had last seen each other.
He resisted the urge to get out of the car and go and snatch the person up.
Soon, Thomas was pulling Eloise towards him.
They were getting closer and closer, and his heart was beating faster and faster.
Thomas opened the back seat door, "Miss Eloise, get in."
Eloise hurried into the car and when she looked up, she met Rowson's excited gaze.
"Mr. Rowson!" Eloise was surprised, not expecting Rowson to be here.
"Eloise ..."
Rowson had just opened his mouth and before he could say anything, he was interrupted by Thomas who was sitting in the car, "We'll talk about it later, hurry up!" Only then did Rowson respond, smiled at Eloise and started the car.
The car drove off like an arrow.
Thomas let out a long breath as he looked out of sight at the villa, "I'm so nervous."
He turned his head to look at Eloise and the corner of his mouth curled, "Miss Eloise, we finally got you out of there."
"Tough job guys." Eloise glanced in the rear view mirror and unexpectedly met Rowson's gaze and she slowly lifted the corner of her lips.
"Did they give you a hard time?" Thomas asked.
"No." Eloise shook her head, "They were quite polite to me, they just treated me like a guest."
"That's good." Thomas sighed in relief.
He looked over at Rowson, who was driving, and asked suspiciously, "Why are you so quiet? This is so hard to get people out, and you don't say a few words?" Rowson gripped the steering wheel tightly, he wanted to say something but didn't know how to speak.
"Mr. Rowson," Eloise started, "thank you for coming to my rescue."
"You're welcome, it's what I should have done." Rowson glanced at her in the rear view mirror.
If it hadn't been for him, she wouldn't have been in that kind of danger.
In the end, he was the culprit.
Eloise smiled, "Mr. Rowson, there's nothing you should have done. I'm really grateful that you came to my rescue."
Rowson pursed his lips tightly and made no sound.
Her generosity made him even more groundless.
Inside the car, the atmosphere became a little strange.
Thomas hurriedly said, "Miss Eloise, it was Mr. Rowson's idea to get you out so quickly this time.
It was only when he mentioned this that Eloise remembered the most important thing.
"Where's Hector?" She asked.
"The prince he ..." Thomas hesitated, "He volunteered to leave with Bergerian to protect Ramm and Killers."
"That's not right." Eloise frowned, "Bergerian told me Hector had left from him."
"What?" Thomas was a little taken aback, "Already left?"
Eloise nodded, "Yeah. Didn't he go back?"
"No."
Thomas and Rowson looked at each other and a bad feeling grew in both of them.
Eloise was anxious, "Did he contact you then?"
"No. We haven't heard from him since the day he left with Bergerian."
It was like a bolt from the blue, hitting Eloise's head so hard that she subconsciously closed her eyes.
Thomas hurriedly said, "Miss Eloise, you mustn't get excited or your body won't be able to cope."
Rowson also said, "Eloise, calm down, we'll talk about it when we get back, okay?"
So as not to worry them, Eloise said "yes" softly.
Her fingers clenched the corners of her coat tightly as she turned her head to look out of the window, a sadness lingering in her eyes. Hector, where the hell are you?
...
Edgar and Ramm were so surprised to see Eloise back that they almost screamed out.
"Eloise!"
"Miss Eloise."
They both ran up to Eloise at the same time, both with unconcealed excitement on their faces.
Eloise couldn't help but smile, "I'm back."
"Great." Edgar hugged her, tightly, as if he was afraid she might disappear.
"Cousin, I'm sorry to have worried you."
The thought of worrying them made Eloise feel bad inside.
"It's good that you're back." Edgar let go of her and looked her up and down, "Are you hurt?"
Eloise shook her head.
Edgar breathed a sigh of relief, "That's good."
As everyone was basking in the joy of Eloise's return, Eloise suddenly spoke up and asked, "Have you found out where Hector is?"
At her question, everyone's emotions dropped at once.
"Miss Eloise, don't worry, we'll replace the prince soon." Ramm spoke up to comfort.
"I trust you all." Eloise pursed her lips, "But he is not with the Bergerian."
Thomas frowned, "Miss Eloise, could Bergerian be lying to you?"
"Lying to me?"
"Yes, just lying to you on purpose. In fact the prince is still with him."
Eloise thought for a moment and shook her head, "Impossible. If it's true that he's still at the villa, how could I not know?"
She had wandered through the entire villa except for that room on the third floor and there was no sign of Hector. Wait a minute!
The pupils of Eloise's eyes narrowed abruptly, "Could it be in that room?"
"Miss Eloise, have you found something?" Ramm asked hastily when he saw the wrong expression on her face.
"Thomas, Ramm, do you have a way of sneaking into the villa?" Eloise looked at them.
"This ..."
Thomas and Ramm looked at each other, "We'll think of something."
Eloise frowned, "If you guys have a way to sneak in, there's a locked room on the third floor of the villa, maybe Hector is in there."
Thomas and Ramm were quick to hear this, "Then we'll go now."
Without waiting for Eloise's reaction, the two men hurried off.
"Wouldn't that be too dangerous?" Edgar was a little uneasy.
Eloise realised that she seemed a bit selfish, thinking only of replaceing Hector and forgetting that the villa was full of people arranged by Bergerian. Thomas and Ramm would certainly be in danger if they went.
She hurriedly said to Edgar, "Cousin, hurry up and call them and tell them to come back."
Edgar nodded, "Okay, I'll call now."
While Edgar was on the phone, Rowson walked up to Eloise and looked at her tenderly, "Eloise."
"Mr. Rowson, am I being selfish?" Eloise smiled bitterly.
Rowson reached out and stroked her head, "They will understand you, don't think too much about it." But it was because they would understand that Eloise felt even more selfish.
