Love Comes To Me
Chapter 1290: You can't marry her!

On the day of the wedding, Eloise, who had lost a whole night's sleep, woke up before dawn.

She went downstairs to see that Edgar and Thomas were there.

They were waiting for her.

"Are you ready?" Eloise asked.

Edgar curled his lips into a smile, "All set."

Eloise looked out the floor to ceiling window to see that it was still a little dark and she took a deep breath, "Let's go."

The wedding was being held at the Bartram family's villa and the Rawlins had informed them in advance that they would be dressed as wedding company staff so that they could gain access to the venue. They expected Earlene to be discreet, but to their surprise they got into the Bartram family quite easily.

The courtyard in front of the villa was beautifully decorated with colourful balls, flowers and a live band playing beautiful music.

Looking at the scene in front of her, Eloise felt nothing but a sting and was even more determined to ruin the wedding and not let Earlene have her way.

"Eloise, see what happens, don't be impulsive." Edgar barked in her ear.

He was afraid that once she saw Hector come out, she wouldn't be able to resist rushing out.

Once Earlene found out about their presence, it would be a problem.

"I know." In fact Eloise had no idea, she didn't know if she could hold back when the time came, after all, any woman would be mad to see the man she loved marrying another woman! The wedding took place at noon because of Granny Bartram's health.

The wedding was attended by friends and family of the Bartram family and no one else.

As the crowd grew, Eloise became increasingly nervous and her hands became sweaty.

She took a few deep breaths to ease her nerves a little.

As noon approached, someone shouted, "The wedding is about to begin, so let's give a big round of applause to the two newlyweds."

As soon as the words left her mouth, everyone clapped and turned their heads to look at the main entrance.

A white car pulled up at the entrance, the door opened and Hector, wearing the groom's tuxedo, was the first to get out.

As the familiar figure fell into view, Eloise's nose twitched and her vision blurred, unable to see what he looked like at that moment.

Hector walked around to the other side of the car, opened the door, bent over and held out his hand.

Earlene, who was sitting in the car, looked at him and smiled at him as he put his hand in his.

Hector takes her hand and gets out.

The car pulled away and they walked down the aisle, side by side, towards the crowd.

Rawlins stood on the stage and could clearly see Earlene's happy smile behind her veil.

The woman he had held close to his heart for almost twenty years was marrying another man today.

Even though he knew the wedding would not go off without a hitch, he couldn't help but feel the hardness in his heart. "Eloise, hold on."

Edgar, who was standing beside Eloise, sensed Eloise's urge to rush up and hurriedly took her hand.

"Cousin, it's hard for me inside." Eloise pursed her lips and locked her gaze on the man and woman walking towards them.

"I know it's hard for you, but the time has not yet come." Edgar tightened his grip on her hand, giving her a silent glimmer of comfort.

Eloise watched as Hector and Earlene walked onto the stage and the MC immediately said, "Let's bless the couple with another round of applause." Once again there was a huge round of applause in her ears.

Eloise didn't care to listen to the master of ceremonies, her eyes were fixed on Hector for a moment.

He looked as good as ever today, his handsome face, which was always cold, was much softer than ever, and even his eyebrows were tinged with a smile. I could tell he was really happy today.

Was it because he was getting married to Earlene?

At the thought of it, Eloise couldn't hold back any longer. She shook off Edgar's hand and strode towards the stage.

Edgar hurried to catch up with her.

"Will the two newlyweds please exchange rings!" As soon as the driver's voice fell, a staff member came over to Hector and the couple with the wedding rings. Hector took the woman's ring first and held Earlene's hand, about to slip it onto her ring finger, when suddenly a voice rang out, "Wait!" A familiar voice!

Earlene's face changed instantly and both she and Hector turned their heads to look at the sound.

Only to see Eloise walking away as she ripped the hat off her head, tossed it viciously aside, and ran up to the stage in three quick strides. "You can't marry her!" Eloise looked at Hector and threw down the gauntlet word by word.

The guests on the stage looked at you and me, wondering what was going on.

"Someone, get her out of my sight!" Earlene yelled.

Just as her people were about to gather around, Edgar and Thomas jumped onto the stage and stood to the left and right of Eloise.

With their presence, Earlene's men were afraid to step forward for a moment.

Earlene was furious, "Why are you standing there? Get rid of them all!"

So the men gathered around them.

"Earlene, what are you doing?" Rawlins appeared just in time and winked at the men, who immediately stepped back.

Earlene was furious: "Rawlins, what do you mean? Are you trying to help an outsider?"

"He's not helping an outsider, he doesn't want to feel sorry for his conscience." Eloise spoke coldly.

Earlene turned her head and glared at her angrily.

Eloise pulled the corner of her mouth, "Earlene, Hector he is my husband, you did whatever you could to take him away, aren't you afraid of retribution?" "Retribution?" Earlene snorted, "What age is it that you are still talking about such vain things as retribution."

"Well, you don't believe in retribution, do you? Then we'll let the people in the room judge whether you're wrong or I'm wrong!"

With that, Eloise turned and swept her gaze around the stage, her eyes finally landing on Granny Bartram.

"Old Lady, you do realise that your granddaughter is marrying someone else's husband, don't you?"

The old lady's face did not look good, nor did she answer her question.

It was Earlene who got anxious and she reached out to tug at Eloise, "My grandmother doesn't know anything, so come at me if you have anything to say."

"Fine." Eloise turned her head to look at her, her face expressionless, "Then you give me back Hector."

"No way!" Earlene refused without even thinking about it!

The scene gelled, the old lady's face went white instantly and Earlene was worried but somewhat too concerned.

Once she left, Hector might actually be taken by Eloise!

At this point, Hector, who had been silent, spoke up, "Miss Eloise, I welcome you to my wedding with Earlene, and ask that you go down and take your seats so as not to interfere with the proceedings." At this point in time, he was still thinking of going ahead with the wedding.

Eloise laughed, "Hector, I am your legal wife and you have two children, can you bear to leave them fatherless?"

Children?

Hector's brow locked and the hands that fell to his side clenched slowly.

He remembered the way Sweety had cried so hard.

The heart, again, began to ache.
