Love Comes To Me
Chapter 1348: All at Your Service

Ivor pushed open the door to the president's office and saw Edgar looking at his phone, not realizing he had entered.

It didn't surprise him that he didn't answer the door after knocking several times.

"The president." He called cautiously as he approached.

Edgar looked up, looking surprisingly confused, "What's the matter?"

"Mr. Joshua is here, waiting for you in the conference room."

"Ah." Edgar stood up.

I don't know if he got up too quickly or if he was uncomfortable, but his body swayed.

Startled, Ivor's face went white, "President!".

"I'm fine." Edgar held up his hand to indicate that he didn't have to be nervous.

Ivor was about to follow him when he saw his whole body fall backwards. "President!"

Ivor hurried to hold the man in place.

He saw that Edgar's eyes were tightly closed and his face was a little pale.

"Somebody!" Ivor shouted outside.

The secretary rushed in and, seeing him holding Edgar, panicked, "What's wrong with the president?" "Call 120!"

"Okay." The secretary hurried to dial the emergency number.

They took Edgar to the hospital.

When they arrived at the hospital, after the doctor's examination, Edgar had fainted from low blood sugar.

"Hasn't he eaten for the last two days?" asked the doctor.

Ivor nodded, "Yes, my president has had very little water, let alone food, for the past two days."

"Then tell him to eat something when he wakes up."

The doctor finished his instructions and left the room with only Ivor and Edgar lying in bed.

Ivor sighed, how was it possible that the president would listen to the advice to eat until he found Mrs. Edwina?

Baggott and Dulce were informed of the situation and rushed out of their house to the hospital.

On the way, the more Dulce thought, the more restless she became, "Do you think we've done something wrong?"

"Why would you say that?" Baggott turned his head to look at her.

"I heard that Edwina left Kyoto with the baby, Edgar hasn't eaten or drank for the past two days looking for someone, do you think the body can take it?"

Speaking of which, Dulce looked guilty and worried.

"If we hadn't forced him to marry Elva in the first place, he wouldn't have been so far behind."

"What's done is done, and there's no point in talking about it now." Baggott took her hand in his and said soothingly, "Don't think too much about it, our son won't blame us."

Dulce looked at him warily and nodded softly, "Mmm."

Edgar felt as if he'd had a long sleep, so sore and weak he had trouble opening his eyes.

"You're awake at last."

As soon as he opened his eyes, a familiar voice full of surprise rang in his ears.

He turned his head, only to see his mother looking up at him with hot tears in her eyes.

"Mom, why are you here?" her voice was a little dry and hoarse because she hadn't had much water to drink.

"You little brat, you scared the hell out of me!" Dulce raised her hand to wipe away her tears and said, somewhere between distressed and angry, "Who do you think you're torturing yourself for? And not eating or drinking?" "Mom, it's just that I forgot to eat."

"Is it as simple as forgetting?" Dulce glared at him, "I'm your mother, how can I not know you. Tell me, it's because of Edwina that you can't eat, isn't it?".

At the mention of Edwina, the smile on Edgar's face vanished instantly.

Dulce sighed and said, "I really don't know how good she is to deserve to be spoiled like that."

"In my heart, she's the best." Edgar turned his head to look out the window, looking forlorn. "But she left me anyway."

"Don't be sad, son, the fact that she left you means she has no vision."

At that moment, Edgar turned his head and a sneer came into his eyes, "Mom, she left because you stopped her, not because she had no vision." Dulce was speechless.

There was silence in the room.

It was a long time before Dulce asked, "Are you blaming me and your father?"

"I wouldn't dare blame you." Edgar said, "After all, you are my parents."

Hearing this, Dulce inexplicably felt a sense of disconnect between her son and herself, and her brow furrowed. "I'd rather you blame us." "Does it matter?" asked Edgar.

Dulce was confused by the question, "Doesn't it matter?"

"Mom, I don't really blame you guys. It was my own inability to take care of things that made Edwina leave me. In the end it was my fault." "Edgar ..." He blamed himself in a way that hurt Dulce to see.

Once again she wondered if she had really done the wrong thing.

"Mom, I'm not going to marry Elva." Edgar said suddenly.

"If you don't want to, you won't, and Mom won't make you."

She didn't want to see him sick again.

"Mom, what are you saying?" Edgar sat up from the bed in shock, but his head was pounding and he lay back down on the bed. "Edgar, what's wrong with you?"

This startled Dulce so much that her face went white.

"I'm fine." Edgar laughed, "I'm just too hungry."

"Boy!" Dulce looked at him suspiciously.

"Mom, was that true what you just said?" Edgar confirmed again.

Dulce nodded, "Yes, it's all true. So you need to hurry up and eat, you'll only have the strength to go to Edwina when you're full." "Thanks mom."

Edgar felt that this time he had indeed done the right thing by fainting, at least he had changed his mother's mind.

Next, he would pull himself together and use all his contacts to replace Edwina and Bonnie.

...

Even though Mark didn't remember anything, Paulina was glad.

As long as he was there for her and her children, that was enough.

"Why don't we take a trip to another country?"

Marcos suddenly suggested this day.

The two little ones immediately raised their hands in favor of going to another country.

"Yes, yes, I want to go to Y!" said Sweety.

"I want to go to N!" Esteban followed closely behind her.

"Country Y, I want to go to country Y!" cried Sweety contritely as she wrapped her arms around her chest.

Esteban replied defiantly, "I want to go to N."

Seeing the two little ones arguing over their different opinions, Paulina said in a reassuring voice, "Come on, whether it's Y or N, we'll go to both, okay?". Only then did the two little ones nod in satisfaction and said in unison, "Yes."

"Why all of a sudden do you guys want to go to another country for a walk?". Paulina turned her head to look at Marcos.

Marcos smiled and said, "Good thing I'm not busy while I'm losing my memory, so I can walk around with you more."

"But traveling is also quite tiring." Paulina feared her body couldn't take it.

"Don't worry, apart from my memory loss, I'm in good health."

Paulina was then relieved, "It's okay, all yours."
