Love Comes To Me
Chapter 1363: Never See Her Again

Paulina looked at him, frowning, "But it's dangerous and I don't feel comfortable letting you go."

It had started with her and Marcos, and she didn't feel comfortable putting Alvaro at risk.

Alvaro smiled slightly, "Don't worry, sister-in-law. My brother and I have been training since we were little and we're not bad at it." "I'll go with you." Marcos spoke softly.

Paulina's heart clenched and she blocked, "You can't go."

"Paulina," Marcos took her shoulders between his and looked into her panicked eyes, gently reassuring her, "I'll be fine with Alvaro and Eliazar." "But...," Paulina said, still unsure.

At that moment, Alvaro took the floor, "Don't worry, sister-in-law, I will protect my brother."

Desperate, Paulina had no choice but to give in.

She grabbed Marcos' hand tightly, "You have to come back safe and sound."

Marcos nodded, "Mmm."

Paulina escorted them out and stood at the door, watching the car drive away until it was out of sight.

"Sister-in-law, they'll be back safe and sound." Bonita got out and put her arm around her shoulder to reassure her.

Paulina gave her a sidelong glance and pursed her lips, "Bonita, I'm sorry I brought Alvaro into this."

"What are you talking about, sister-in-law?" Bonita pretended to be angry and then said earnestly, "We are family, don't say such insulting things." Paulina's heart was full of emotion as she nodded and simply said, "I hope everything will be okay."

"It will be fine." Bonita hugged her tightly.

...

Eliazar's investigation soon led to the whereabouts of Ms. Gloria and Agustina.

He immediately sent the address to Marcos.

When Marcos received it, he told Alvaro to turn left at the intersection up ahead.

That was the direction to the suburbs.

Alvaro turned his head to look at Marcos and asked him, "Have you found the town yet?"

"Well, it's in an abandoned factory on the outskirts. Eliazar and the others are heading there too."

Alvaro instantly stepped on the gas and the car instantly accelerated.

"Brother, when we get there, wait in the car while I go in with Eliazar and the others." said Alvaro.

"Okay." Marcos looked out the window, the light was jumping on his face, flickering on and off, it was hard to see what he looked like at that moment.

Alvaro moved his lips to say something, but then swallowed the words.

His brother had his own agenda, he didn't have to worry too much.

The car pulled up in front of the abandoned factory and the men who had been sitting outside chatting got up as soon as they saw the car arrive, grabbing whatever sticks they had at hand, each with a wary look on their faces as they watched the car pull up.

Alvaro sat in the car, watching the men, his hands on the steering wheel calmly clasped.

"Brother, are you okay?" he asked, opening his mouth.

Marcos tugged at the corner of his lips, his voice laden with coldness, "What do you think?"

The two men unbuckled their seat belts, unlocked the doors at the same time and got out of the car.

A light came on outside the factory and the other man immediately recognized Marcos and shouted, "It's Marcos!".

The men stepped back unconsciously.

They had all received orders not to touch Marcos if he came in person.

As they stepped back, Marcos and Alvaro looked at each other and took a big step forward.

The men continued backing up and retreated inside the factory.

As soon as the iron gates of the factory opened, Marcos and Alvaro caught a glimpse of Mrs. Gloria, who was tied to a chair.

"Mom!" shouted Alvaro.

Mrs. Gloria looked up at the sound of the voice and, seeing her two sons there, tensed and opened her mouth to yell at them to come back.

But her mouth was taped shut and she could only make "mmmmmm" noises.

Someone rushed up and grabbed her by the shoulders, yelling, "Shut up or my fists won't show."

"Don't you dare!" exclaimed Alvaro angrily.

"Well, let's see if I dare!". Gloria raised the stick she held in her hand and saw it fall on Sra.

"Stop!" someone spoke to stop her.

Alvaro and Marcos turned their heads and looked around to see a man coming out of the darkness and approaching Sra.

"Which one is Marcos?" The man asked as he spoke.

"It's me." Marcos took a step forward.

The man looked him up and down and asked, "Do you want to save her?"

Marcos didn't answer, but the coldness emanating from his body was almost chilling.

The man backed up half a step, then steadied his aura and said, "If you want to save her, you can come with us."

Alvaro, anxious at this, stepped in front of his brother and said angrily, "You don't want to hit my brother."

"Oh yeah, so you're not going to save her?". The man pulled a knife out of nowhere and pointed it at Ms. Gloria's face. "What do you want to do?" Alvaro's face paled and his heart panicked.

Marcos squeezed his shoulder, gesturing for him not to panic, and spoke in a cold voice to ask, "Where is the other man?"

Only when he asked did Alvaro realize that his mother was the only one in the factory and that his sister-in-law's mother was not there.

"They'll all be fine as long as you come with us."

The man had just finished speaking when a little brother ran up to him with a cell phone, came up to his ear and said something unfamiliar, and looked up at Marcos. He winked at the little brother.

The little brother picked up the phone again and turned to Marcos and the others.

Alvaro raised his hands in warning.

"Ma'am. Earlene wants to talk to you." As they approached, the little brother handed the phone to Marcos.

Marcos took it, his voice cold with no trace of warmth, "Speak."

Earlene on the other end of the phone heard the short voice and jumped out of bed excitedly, picked up the phone and spoke eagerly, "Marcos, it's me, I ..."

Before she could finish the sentence, she was cut off coldly, "Where's my mother?"

The words hit her like cold water and Earlene's excitement faded, "Don't you care about me?" Although she could guess what his answer would be, she couldn't help but feel the anticipation. "What about my mother?" Mark did not answer, but repeated the question he had just asked. His tone was colder, his patience had worn thin.

Earlene took a deep breath, suppressed the loss in her heart and said in a cold voice, "If you want to save Paulina's mother, divorce Paulina, come back to me and never see her again."

At those words, Marcos narrowed his eyes and the corners of his mouth curved into a grimace, "It seems you still don't recognize reality."

"Reality?" Earlene snorted, "My reality is that I saved you and you promised to take care of me for the rest of my life, now you must keep your promise." "Impossible."

The emotionless words made Mark's attitude clear.

"Then you'll never see Paulina's mother." If he wouldn't do what she said, then don't blame her for being heartless.

"Earlene, you'd better let the man go. It won't do you any good to piss me off."
