Love Comes To Me
Chapter 1454: The Fall

"Again it has fallen, again it has fallen!"

Excited and excited voices were coming out of the office of the president of the Bartram Group. Looking at the Leoz Group's stock in green on his computer, Rawlins couldn't stop smiling.

He had been looking forward to this day for a long time!

Knock, knock!

The assistant pushed open the door, "Chairman, Mr. Chris is here."

"Quick, send him in." Rawlins couldn't wait to share the good news with Chris.

Chris walked in, saw Rawlins' excited face and probably knew what was going on.

"That's the best you can do?" Chris gave him a cold look and walked over to the couch and sat down.

"That's the best I can do." Rawlins came striding over and sat down across from him, "My happiness is based on Mark's pain. As long as he's in pain for a second, I'm happy for a second."

Chris nodded, "This is something to be happy about today, indeed. Who would have thought that a project that Marcos takes so seriously would be overtaken by someone else launching a new product." "You don't even know how excited I was when I heard the news, a sense of finally getting out of the way."

At this point, Rawlins shakes his head "tsk-tsk," "Chris, you're a real piece of work. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have seen the Leoz Group stock drop. But can you talk to me before you do anything?" He had done it so rashly that, if it failed, it would have implicated not only his own company, but the Bartram Group!

"Me?" Chris looked puzzled, "Did I do something?"

It was then that Rawlins realized something was wrong and curbed his grin, "You didn't put someone in the Leoz Group?"

Chris laughed out loud, "I'm not going to lie, I never wanted to plant mine in the Leoz Group."

"If not you, then who?" Rawlins expression turned serious.

"It's not you?" asked Chris rhetorically, staring at him.

Rawlins immediately denied it, "Not me."

"If it wasn't you, and it wasn't me, then who could it have been?" Chris's brow furrowed.

Both men stood in silence, wondering who else was trying to take on the Leoz Group.

Only after a long moment did Chris speak up, "Before Amad Corporation was bought before anyone else, and this time the project was leaked, it couldn't be the same person who did both, could it?" Rawlins thought hard, "It's possible."

Chris narrowed his eyes, "There really are others who don't like Marcos."

"Marcos has always been ruthless in his actions, he must have offended a lot of people over the years. It's just that ..."

The Rawlins couldn't think of who exactly had that great tactic.

They had been struggling to figure out what to do with the Leoz Group, and someone's slightest stunt had sent the Leoz Group's stock way down.

"Chris, is that guy going to be our friend?" asked Rawlins.

The other side is very powerful, and if we can make an alliance with them, it will be much easier to bring down the Leoz Group.

"The only way to know if the other side is friend or foe is to replace out who they are." Chris thought this could not be put off any longer, "I'll go back and send someone to replace out." Rawlins looked at him thoughtfully and pretended to speak casually, "Chris, don't forget we are on the same side now."

The implication was for him to replace out who was there and not hide it.

"Haha..." Chris let out a laugh, "Don't worry, I won't forget."

"That would be for the best." Rawlins smirked at that.

...

Meanwhile, the JR Group.

Blythe turned off the news page and looked over at Winston who was sitting on the couch relaxing with a cup of coffee.

"It's really ridiculous that someone as cautious as Marcos had his day."

Winston turned his head to look at her, "No one is perfect, there are always oversights."

Blythe stood up and came over to sit down, her fine eyebrows furrowed in confusion. "This has hit the Leoz Group hard, do you think Marcos will be able to fix it?"

"Do you think?" Winston looked at her, his gaze had a deeper meaning, "Knowing what you know about Marcos, will he be able to fix it?"

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Blythe asked puzzled by his stare, her small face sunk in discontent.

Winston put down his coffee and the corner of his mouth curved, "You're worried about Marcos."

"I'm not." Blythe replied quickly, "I'm just afraid this blow won't be enough. Once you've dealt with this, the Leoz Group still isn't going to be easy to deal with." "You mean strike while the iron is hot?" asked Winston.

Blythe nodded, "That's right, or more accurately, fall on your sword."

A hint of interest flashed in Winston's eyes, "How do you want to do that?"

"I haven't thought about it yet." Blythe thought for a moment, "Anyway, this one chance, if we take it, we will defeat the Leoz Group very soon."

Winston was silent for a few seconds before smiling and asking, "Don't you even want to know who did the Leoz Group project leak?"

"Wasn't it you?" asked Blythe instead of answering.

Winston was slightly surprised, "I'm surprised you knew."

"Who else would it have been but you with the means to do it?"

At that, Blythe sighed, "If my brother and Chris had that ability, they wouldn't have been screwed by Marcos by two partner companies."

"Brilliant." Winston gave an appreciative thumbs-up, "But that's just the beginning."

"Oh?" Blythe raised an eyebrow, "Have you planned what you're going to do next?"

"Of course." Winston's mouth curved grimly. "I want to shake up the domestic market now, and once that happens, the Leoz Group will have a hard time doing it alone. This time, Marcos can handle it, that's normal. But for the latter, only fate will be able to sort it out."

Winston's sinister look sent a small shiver down Blythe's back.

"Good thing you're not my enemy, or I'd be sold out and have to count your money for you." Blythe rubbed her arms, suppressing the fear that had risen in her heart. "Don't worry, you're the woman I love, how can you be the enemy?" Winston got up and sat down next to her, putting his arm around her shoulders. "Everything I'm doing now is for you." Blythe nodded, "I know."

"Then I'm the only one you can have in your heart." Winston said domineeringly, his possessiveness between the lines.

"Of course there's only you." Blythe leaned further into his arms, her fingers tracing lightly over his chest, "I've given you my person and my heart, what have you not to be satisfied."

Winston took her hand between his, with a somber look, "I'm afraid you have lingering feelings for Mark and you don't want to see him fail and fall when the time comes."

"You're overthinking it. There is nothing I want more in my life than to see him sunk and out of action. I'll show him how foolish it is to antagonize me."

The Marcoses did not appreciate her at first.

They wounded her on all sides.

Now she is back, vowing to see him fall from his heights in the dust.
