Chapter 146: Lowly women who climb high up the ladder

Reeva Lawson has always been a man of action; after all, things are getting out of her control now, and there is nothing Matriarch Godbold can do there but replace her own way to stop Eloise Thompson and Hector Rogers from getting together. She didn't know what happened to Eloise Thompson that year, and it would take time to replace out, in case there was nothing useful to replace out then it would be a waste of time.

At that moment, Reeva Lawson asked the assistant about the status of the Gardner family. The assistant also investigated the Gardner family and then spoke up, "Miss, the Gardner family people seem to have been interested in working with us and have approached the Lawson Group before, but the chairman did not agree to meet with them."

Once inside, everyone came up to greet them, many of the rich kids had adoration in their eyes and Reeva Lawson was like a star in the crowd.

Robbie Gardner took it to heart that the Gardner family was now a little short of cash flow because of the heavy losses on that previous project, so he had been trying to pull in some investment and it would be great to make friends with a big player like the Lawson family.

But this is so many people ... would have a hard time getting on with Reeva Lawson herself, and besides, would she work with the Gardner family?

Robbie Gardner was thinking about it when someone else spoke up and asked, "Reeva, I heard that you and Mr Hector have been dating recently, I wonder if that's true?"

As if remembering something, Reeva Lawson added, "I heard my dad talking about you yesterday, Mr Robbie. I heard that the Gardner Group is working on a project that the Lawson family is interested in, why don't we meet up sometime to talk about it?"

Robbie Gardner's face lit up with joy as he had been trying to replace a way to hook up with the Lawson family, something he thought would be difficult and almost impossible, but to his surprise Reeva Lawson had approached him and said she was interested in their project.

"Sure no problem, I'm always available, Miss Reeva can contact me if she's free."

Having said that, Robbie Gardner handed over a business card.

Reeva Lawson took it and then spoke, "Yes Mr Robbie, looking forward to our collaboration."

With that said, Reeva Lawson left with a small smile in her eyes, having achieved her goal of coming to the party.
